Abstract

Integration in the meaning of the relationship between formal and non-formal education is the existence of a unity of purpose and an educational system that is mutually beneficial between the two. This research aims to analyze the integration between formal and non-formal education, in this case schools and Islamic boarding schools under the auspices of the Miftahul Ulum Gunungbubut Sodonghilir Tasikmalaya Islamic Education Foundation. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive analysis approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation studies. Meanwhile, the interactive model which includes data condensation, data presentation and conclusions is used as a data analysis tool. The results of this research show that several things are integrated between schools and Islamic boarding schools, namely related to: 1) discounts on school entrance fees for students who live in Islamic boarding schools; 2) lesson schedule, and 3) holiday schedule.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and analyze the perspectives and evaluations of teachers and students regarding the Curriculum of Christian Religious Education at the secondary education level. The research focuses on teachers' views on the diversity of materials, teaching methods, and the curriculum's relevance to students' daily lives. Meanwhile, students are assessed from the perspective of the diversity of learning approaches, the attractiveness of the material, and the curriculum's ability to shape a profound understanding of Christian religious teachings. The research methodology employed is a qualitative approach with in-depth interview techniques conducted with a number of PAK teachers and secondary-level students. Thematic data analysis is conducted to identify common patterns and differences in the perspectives and evaluations of both groups regarding the curriculum. The expected outcome of this research is to provide a comprehensive overview of the successes and challenges in the implementation of the Curriculum of Christian Religious Education, with the potential to contribute to curriculum improvement and the development of more effective teaching practices. The implications of this research may also support policy-making efforts to enhance the quality of Christian religious education at the secondary level.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the impact of bullying on student self-confidence in the Negri 2 Tiratan Kaman School. The research method used is a qualitative approach using case studies. To obtain comprehensive data, the information gathering approach is carried out by conducting interviews with perpetrators and victims of bullying. This method of observation is used to look more closely at the impact of bullying behaviour on student self-confidence. The study found signs of repression, including more than just repression.Verbal expressions like slander, comments that underestimate physical deprivation, and insult parents. Research shows that obviously repressive incidents have a negative impact on student self-confidence, thereby lowering overall self-esteem. A thorough study of the various forms of bullying that occurred in Negri 2 Tiratan Kaman High School will help us understand the consequences that students may experience in responding to such behavior, especially the negative consequences of a significant decrease in self-confidence to the base.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the role of the Orphanage in carrying out the function of replacing the families of foster children at the Mande Kanduang Orphanage. The focus of this research is to provide protection for foster children, to fulfill children's rights in survival and to support children's personality development in which there are inhibiting factors. Source of data taken at the Mande Kanduang Orphanage. The data analysis used in this research is descriptive qualitative data analysis, namely describing what happens in the field.

Abstract

This development research aims to produce learning media in the form of UTAPIN (Smart Snakes and Ladders) media because the existing media is still limited and less interesting, only using objects available at school. The research method used is the 4-D model but only consists of 3 stages, namely definition, design and development. The data analysis techniques used are analysis of media validation results, analysis of material validation results, and analysis of student response questionnaire results. The average final validation result from media experts obtained a score of 82.05%, which is in the quite valid category, however there was a slight revision from media expert I, who then re-validated and obtained an average final result of 91.25%. which falls into the very category. valid, then the average final result of material expert validation obtained a score of 95.83% which is included in the very valid category, while the student response questionnaire results were 95.41% which is included in the very good category. category. In conclusion, UTAPIN (Smart Snakes and Ladders) media can be used in the learning process. Departing from this research is that the media developed can be used for learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

The background to which this research was conducted was the lack of variety in the application of learning media at the elementary school level and students' lack of understanding of the broad range of social studies material. This research is a development research or Research and Development (R&D) using the 4D model but the researchers only reached 3 stages, namely Definition, Design and Development. The aim of this research is to develop Card Sort learning media based on Mind Mapping regarding material on types of work producing goods and services in elementary school social studies subjects. This research was tested on class IV students at UPT SD Negeri 84 Gresik as many as 16 students. The research results showed that the percentage of media validation results was 92.5% (very valid) and the percentage of material validation results was 93.75% (very valid) and the overall response percentage of class IV students at UPT SD Negeri 84 Gresik was 98.75% (Very Good). The conclusion of the results of this research shows that the development of Card Sort media based on Mind Mapping is feasible and effective in implementing fourth grade elementary school learning regarding types of work producing goods and services.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems that teachers often face that affect the quality of quality in schools, so that empowerment is needed for teachers to encourage school quality improvement. This study aims to describe in detail the form of empowering teachers and education personnel in order to improve school quality. The method used in this research is a literature study that focuses on empowering teachers and education personnel to improve school quality, in reviewing qualitative references that focus on discussing the topic of empowerment and quality of education. The results of this study reveal there are four important components in the development of educator resources, namely: 1) adopting a strategic approach to human resource planning, 2) acquiring and developing staff who match the basic needs of the organisation, 3) developing a performance-oriented organisational culture, and 4) maintaining merit principles. In addition, school efforts that need to be made for empowerment include: 1) Education and Training which includes and 2) Activities other than education and training.

Abstract

A good strategy from the principal in applying the vision and mission is highly expected, in order to improve the quality of the school. Therefore it is necessary to formulate long-term and short-term programs in achieving its goals. Based on this statement, the formulation of the problem in this study is how was the strategy carried out by the head of the school in applying the vision and mission at SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung?, and what are the long and short term goals and programs that have been carried out by the Head of SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung?. The goal to be achieved is to find out the achievement of the strategy carried out by the head of the school in applying the vision and mission at SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung and the long and short term goals and programs that have been carried out by the Head of SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung. This type of research is field research and the approach taken is a qualitative approach. The object of this research is the strategy carried out by the school head in applying the vision and mission at SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung and the subjects of this research are the Head of SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung and 3 teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung. The data collection techniques are carried out by means of interviews, observation and documentaries. Data processing techniques using data reduction, data display and data verification and data analysis using descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that the school head’s strategy in applying the vision and mission at SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung is illustrated in the following description: 1) The achievement of the strategy carried out by the school head in applying the vision and mission is by using several strategies in achieving the existing vision and mission and apply the vision and mission by determining and assigning school residents according to their respective fields. The Head of SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung is also always active in all activities at the school and is even the first person in protecting his citizens, because he not only governs, but is also directly involved in it. 2) The long-term goal is to make SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung. The short-term program is achieved with in 1 to 5 years and this is illustrated by the existing vision and mission. While the programs that have been implemented include participating in competitions at the district and provincial levels and even at the national level, involving teachers in teacher training, and having extra curriculars fostered by competent people.

Abstract

The relationship between users and libraries and librarians has undergone a transformation into a complex public space. The complexity of this public space is not only to accommodate interactions between users and librarians in relation to access to information and knowledge, but also as a space for inter-generational, inter-interest, inter-community, inter-professional meetings that unite and interact with librarians, technology, networked and bonded by library collections and library collection documents. Librarians in the era of disruption must be able to develop the competencies needed to achieve success by making various breakthroughs. Libraries must be creative and respond to changes that emerge after disruption, including by adapting to the changes that occur. Facing the era of digital disruption, a librarian needs to develop strategies according to the needs and times to face the changes occurring in the library world. Some strategies that can be implemented include increasing digital literacy, innovating, prioritizing research, providing excellent service, being open to developments in information technology, collaborating with other parties, improving managerial abilities, needing to prioritize constructive innovation, always upgrading one's own competence and acts as a stimulator and trigger in the development of digital content.

Abstract

The basic principles of Islamic Education Management contain various flexible general principles so that they are well in line with the progress and developments of the current era. These principles are what differentiates educational management in general from Islamic educational management. Regarding the principles of Islamic education management, many Islamic education experts have different opinions. Therefore, in this digital era, namely the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0, there is a need to revitalize studies regarding the principles of Islamic education management in order to realize strong and superior management. This type of research is qualitative research in library research. The approach uses a qualitative approach. The findings in this research are that the basic principles in Islamic education management and their relevance in life in the Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0 include the principles of sincerity, honesty, trust and fairness.
