Abstract

This research is entitled a case study about students who feel lazy in studying, which makes the counselee not have the motivation to study and often delays going to school. Counselees who often delay going to school, causing the counselee to come to school late, are caused by the counselee often feeling lazy about going to school. Generally, the problem in this research is how to help counselees who feel lazy about studying in class XI.F4 at SMA N 5 Bukittinggi. While the aim is to obtain an objective picture of the characteristics, causal factors, and appropriate alternative assistance to be used to overcome this problem. The problem of counselees who find it difficult to carry out academic procrastination behavior in class XI. F4 SMA Negeri 5 Bukittinggi with MAR counselors. The approach used in this research is qualitative using descriptive methods and the form of research is a case study. In this research, individual counseling was carried out to help solve the client's problems by changing the client's thinking pattern from an irrational one to a rational one using the behavioral counseling approach model.

Abstract

Education is an important thing that cannot be ignored throughout human life. In the current digital era, character education is very important to be implanted and taught massively to students. The aim of this research is to explore the importance of character education in learning to improve the quality of education in the digital era. The research method used is literary research. Literary research is a research method carried out using collect data and take notes, evaluate documents or reading. Literary research can be obtained from various sources such as books, magazines, internet, libraries and documents. We hope that the results of this research can provide encouragement to all parties, including educational institutions, families and society, so that this can be done on a large scale to help make character education teachable and achievable, giving birth to a generation of people with personality and playing a role in improving the quality of education in the digital era.

Abstract

Arabic language learning in universities is now widespread, but there are still some problems, one of which is the lack of ability of students to speak Arabic. This problem is caused by not being accustomed to speaking Arabic in a language environment because the environment is not supportive. In order to overcome this problem, habituation, application and continuous practice by students are needed. Therefore, this study aims to determine the ability of students in speaking Arabic and the influence of the environment to improve the speaking ability. This research uses a qualitative method. This qualitative approach is used to explain and analyze individual phenomena, groups, events and perceptions. The source of this research was obtained by filling out questionnaires distributed offline to Arabic language students. The results of this research reveal some of the conditions that must be met in an effort to create a language environment, how influential the environment is in improving speaking skills using Arabic, and technological advances that can also have an impact on these skills.

Abstract

By looking at current educational developments, we realize that the psychological component is very important for academic success. It cannot be denied that a student's behavior can affect his or her achievement at school. Anxiety in the lecture environment is one of the problems that arise during the educational process. When faced with situations that challenge their thinking, many students experience anxiety. The aim of this research is to identify whether there is a relationship between academic anxiety and psychology students at Bhayangkara University. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach. The research subjects were students of the Bhayangkara University Psychology Program. The quota sampling method is taking samples from a population that has certain characteristics to obtain the desired sample size. The researcher's questionnaire was administered via Google Form to collect data. Data analysis was carried out by applying correlation test techniques, in accordance with the research hypothesis, to identify the relationship between anxiety levels and learning achievement. This study found that the anxiety level of students in the Bhayangkara University Psychology Study Program delayed their learning outcomes. The validity test results showed 14 valid items, and the reliability test showed a score of 0.735 for reliable information. Students also tend to distract themselves with other activities rather than focusing on studying. Apart from that, their lack of self-confidence seems to be reflected in their imagination on certain questions, which then has an impact on their learning achievement.

Abstract

One of the important components in the development of society is education. But kids are still dropping out of school in many places, including in Demak District. Therefore, innovative solutions are needed to address this problem. The aim of this research is to create a geographical information system (GIS) that can map and analyze how equality schools are spread across Demak district as an educational alternative for school dropouts. The waterfall method used with the Quantum GIS software used in this study aims to provide an accurate picture of the educational status and distribution of equality schools in Demak District. Buddhism is used as a reference in the data collection process. Therefore, this study can provide a thorough analysis of the difficulties and opportunities that exist to address the problem of school dropout in the region. Besides, this research can provide a strong foundation for creating better educational solutions.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic forces companies to learn in a situation where they are afraid of getting the virus. The psychological state of a person in this pandemic era is more fearful, apprehensive, and nervous. This will definitely have an effect on the learning process's performance. The reason behind it is that learning should be done in a peaceful environment in order to achieve optimal benefits. Excessive worry in a student will cause him to have a negative self-image and lose motivation to study. This study employs a descriptive approach and a qualitative method. Interviews, documentation, and observation were used to obtain data for this study. Data reduction, data presentation, and verification were used to examine the information. Face-to-face learning performed by MTs Al-Jauhar during the period of the pandemic is found to be positive in this thesis. The average grade VIII students scored 75.6 for recitation in the medium category (achieved), 74.4 for tartiles in the moderate category (achieved), 71.7 for fluency in the mutqin category (achieved), and 2.2 for achieving the desired number of juz, according to the findings of this survey (achieved). MTs students, on the other hand, are in good psychological shape. This research shows that learning in the age of the COVID-19 pandemic may be effective if health protocols are followed correctly.

Abstract

In the current era, emotional attitudes are important to face technological growth. The negative influence caused by the use of technology can damage children's social attitudes. The family environment, especially parents, is an aspect that has a big influence on children's social development. The family is the best forum for forming a child's personality, including social and emotional changes. The aim of this research is to determine the importance of parenting patterns carried out by parents and their impact on children's social and emotional development. By using literature review methodology, this research includes qualitative descriptive research.

Abstract

Based on the analysis of the results and discussion, testing the effectiveness of the art therapy method in improving the discipline of grade 3 elementary school students using the Paired Samples T-Test Hypothesis Test, shows that the p value <.001 is smaller than α 0.05. Thus, the hypothesis H0 can be rejected and Ha can be accepted. The significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores of grade 3 students at SDN 01 Tambun shows the effectiveness of the art therapy method in improving disciplinary behavior in research subjects. An increase in disciplinary behavior was also conveyed by the subject's homeroom teacher after the subject underwent art therapy treatment, although this did not appear significant. The implications of this research can be applied to individuals who experience low levels of discipline.

Abstract

The objectives to be achieved in this research are: (1) to describe the sociological aspects of mimesis of literary works in the novel Kau Ceraikan Aku, Kunikahi Your Brother Di Fizzo, a novel by Rein Azahra, in terms of characters and characterization, social status, behavior of the characters, and events that occur. . This research is in the form of a sociological review of literature using qualitative methods. Research techniques include the stages of data collection, data analysis, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The data sources consist of primary data (the novel Kau Diceraikan Aku, Kunikahi Your Sister Di Fizzo Novel by Rein Azahra) and secondary data in the form of literary books and other sources. The results of the research show that the sociological aspect of mimesis in the novel Kau Diceraikan Aku, Kunikahi Your Sister Di Fizzo, a novel by Rein Azahra, is an imitation of the situation of today's young people, where many young people do not like arranged marriages which end in affairs, because they look at appearance and physicality.

Abstract

This article is crafted to present information regarding student behavior that infringes upon school regulations, with the primary objectives of (1) identifying the factors influencing such behavior, (2) exploring the efforts made by guidance and counseling (BK) teachers in addressing these behaviors, and (3) examining the supporting and hindering elements in the process of addressing student misconduct. The research methodology employed involves a direct field approach, utilizing qualitative methods, and employing observation and interview as data collection instruments. The supportive factors identified among BK teachers in addressing the behavior of students at SDN 03 PAKAN LABUAH, BUKITTINGGI, include effective collaboration among teachers, the implementation of habituation programs within the school, and cooperative efforts with parents. On the other hand, inhibiting factors encompass challenges both external and internal to the school environment, along with a lack of awareness among the students themselves.
