Abstract

In this study, most student have not shown good character, which can be seen from the condition of students at school who do not use their time well, tend to use their time to play with friends, shop, and are late for school which is a bad habit for students. Character formation in the world of education to overcome the moral crisis that is currenty hitting. Crisis takes the form of promiscuity, bullying, juvenile delinquency, theft, cheating, fighting and illegal racing. Character formation can be done by yourself from a heart that has the will to change positively. Character formation includes moral, ethical, and academis in society and schools. The aim of this research is to provide information regarding the formation of character and development of students who are expected to have the ability and facilitate student development well and carry out tasks in accordance with the provisions. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. So it can be concluded that by collaborating with teachter in schools and the community by reviewing students backgrounds, problem-solvinf tools and approaches taken, it is hoped that positive thing will accur optimally. The role of BK is very important in helping students for themselves, especially in improving the ability for good learning achievement and realizing students dream, contributing to the intelligent life of the nation through various BK services to students for personal development and student potential as optimally as possible as well as increasing the learning motivation of student with high achievements.

Abstract

TPQ Zahrotul Mubtadi'in Majalengka uses the Qiro'ati method in understanding Al-Qur'an learning. The application of the Qiro'ati Method uses the technique of reading it directly without any pause in the reading and the reading must also be precise, correct, smooth and also tartil in accordance with the laws of recitation. The title of this research journal is "Application of the Qiro'ati Method to improve the quality of Al-Qur'an reading" at TPQ Zahrotul Mubtadi'in. The aim of this research is to see the ability and understanding in reading the Al-Quran by Santri TPQ Zahrotul Mubtadi'in. This research was carried out to measure students' reading of the Al-Qur'an using the Qiro'ati Method until tashih finishing. Systems and techniques used to collect data by conducting interviews and tests. The resulting effect from learning using the Qiro'ati Method is that students can read and master material about the Al-Qur'an quite well, when applied in prayer, in reading and memorizing the Al-Qur'an. The pentashih stage of the Qiro'ati learning method is divided into two, tashih for adults and tashih for children. This method has been widely used in educational institutions such as Islamic boarding schools, boarding schools, Ibtida'iyyah madrasas, Tsanawiyyah madrasas and others. This Qiro'ati Method learning model is usually also supplemented with teaching aids to make discussing the material in the Qiro'ati book volumes more enjoyable so as not to make the students bored in teaching activities. The mandatory requirement is that the teacher must also have a certificate or diploma of passing Tashih.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the benefits of Pancasila education on the sense of nationalism in students at the Faculty of Language and Literature Education at the University of Indonesia. This research discusses the Pancasila Education course and the sense of nationalism of students who choose the language and literature study program. The many challenges to maintaining a sense of nationalism caused by foreign cultures studied in the language and literature study program make students more familiar with foreign cultures than local cultures. Pancasila education has the benefit of maintaining students' sense of nationalism, through learning Pancasila Education which contains the introduction and efforts to maintain a sense of nationalism in students. Nationalism can be triggered by several factors, it can be based on national spirit, national character, national level, national language, national equipment, and religion. Pancasila education can be one of the supporting factors for the growth of students' sense of nationalism. Based on the results of research conducted using questionnaires distributed to students at the Faculty of Language and Literature Education, Indonesian Education University, learning Pancasila Education has an influence on students' sense of nationalism. Students agree that the existence of Pancasila education has benefits for the level of nationalism of language and literature education students at the Indonesian University of Education.

Abstract

The background of this research is to fulfill assignments in student activities at UIN SMDD Bukittinggi as well as to determine and optimize students’ ability to memorize the Qur’an at SD IT Madani 2 Payakumbuh using the muraja’ah method in tahfizh learning. The aim of this research is to find out what the students’ ability to read and memorize the Qur’an at SD IT Madani 2 Islamic School Payakumbuh is like, what kind of methods are applied to students in learning to read and memorize the Qur’an and to help students teachers to improve students’ ability to read and memorize the Koran. This research also aims to optimize the ability to read, memorize and write the Koran through the muraja’ah method at SD IT Madani 2 Islamic School Payakumbuh. This research was conducted at SD It Madani 2 Islamic School Payakumbuh with the title optimizing the ability to memorize the Qur’an through the muraja’ah method at SD It Madani 2 Islamic School Payakumbuh. The problem examined in this research is what is the level of memorization of the Qur’an that students have at SD IT Madani 2 Islamic School Payakumbuh, what is the method of memorizing the Qur’an applied by teachers to students in tahfizh learning, what are the difficulties? Students face in memorizing the Qur’an. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method which aims to analyze how to improve students’ ability to memorize the Koran through implementing the muraja’ah method in tahfizh learning. The data collected in this research was through observation, interviews and direct practice in tahfizh learning at SD IT Madani 2 Islamic School Payakumbuh. The results obtained in this research are: First, the ability to memorize the Koran of students at SD IT Madani 2 Islamic School Payakumbuh has reached the memorization target limit set by the Tahfizh teacher. Second, the ability to memorize the Al-Qur’an of students who are still not fluent in memorizing the Al-Qur’an can be improved through the implementation of the muraja’ah method which is held at SD IT Madani 2 Islamic School Payakumbuh.

Abstract

The rapid development of Internet technology has led to the emergence of new crimes in this field, such as data manipulation, espionage, sabotage, provocation, money laundering, hacking, software theft or hardware theft and many other crimes. Even the level of internet crime (cybercrime) is not monitored by the government so it is difficult to control. The emergence of a number of cyber crime cases in Indonesia has become a threat to the stability of security and public order with a fairly high level of escalation. The aim of this research is to better understand technology so that it is not easily affected by cyber crime and that everyone's cyber security is better maintained. The method we used in preparing this research was literature study. The results of data information found from various journals show that cyber crime cases greatly affect the level of cyber security and mental health of each person.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reveal about: 1) Assignment method to be effective in increasing student learning motivation in science learning in grade 4 at MIN 2 Sambas for the 2021/2022 academic year; 2) Implementation steps of the assignment method in science learning in grade 4 at MIN 2 Sambas for the 2021/2022 academic year; 3) Follow up of the assignment method in motivating student in science learning in grade 4 at MIN 2 Sambas for the 2021/2022 academic year. This study used a qualitative approach and a type of descriptive research. Data collection techniques are used the interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusions. The results of the study show that: 1) Assignment method to be effective in increasing student learning motivation in science learning in grade 4 at MIN 2 Sambas is: a) Follow the teacher’s instructions in doing the assignment; b) Develop students thinking patterns; c) Train students to be independent; d) Motivate students to do assignment; e) Achieve learning goals. 2) Implementation steps of the assignment method in science learning in grade 4 at MIN 2 Sambas is: a) Provide guidance or supervision in carrying out student assignments; b) Provide encouragement and motivation to students; c) Individual work on assignments by students; d) Explain and provide examples related to the assignment; e) Record the results of the assigned tasks. 3) Follow up of the assignment method in motivating student in science learning in grade 4 at MIN 2 Sambas is: a) Carry out learning evaluation for students; b) Provide assessment to student.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of teaching Christian values based on Galatians 5:22-23 on the development of students' ethics in the Christian education environment. The focus of this study is to explore the extent to which values such as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control can shape students' character and influence their attitudes and behaviors. The research method used is a case study involving students from several Christian educational institutions. Data is collected through classroom observations, interviews with teachers and students, and analysis of relevant literature. Data collection is conducted using a qualitative approach to gain a deep understanding of the teaching of Christian values and students' responses to these values. The results of this research provide insights into how the teaching of Christian values based on Galatians 5:22-23 contributes to the formation of students' ethics. Findings include students' understanding of Christian values, identified behavioral changes, and supporting or inhibiting factors in the implementation of these values in the educational environment. This research is expected to contribute to the development of more effective and relevant strategies for teaching Christian values and provide a deeper understanding of the impact of teaching Christian values on students' ethics. The implications of this research may assist educators and Christian educational institutions in better guiding students in the development of moral character in accordance with Biblical teachings.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Bible teaching method applied in the context of Christian religious education in schools. The primary focus of this research is to evaluate the extent to which the teaching methods can achieve the goals of Christian religious education, including the development of theological understanding, morality, and the application of spiritual values in students' daily lives. The research methodology involves a qualitative approach with data collection techniques such as classroom observations and curriculum document analysis. The data will be analyzed using a thematic approach to identify common patterns in Bible teaching methods and understand their impact on students' understanding and application of Bible teachings. The research findings are expected to provide a comprehensive overview of the effectiveness of Bible teaching methods in achieving the goals of Christian religious education. The implications of these findings are expected to serve as a foundation for the development of more effective teaching strategies, meeting the spiritual and intellectual needs of students, and supporting the formation of character in accordance with biblical teachings. This research is anticipated to contribute to the development of Christian religious education in schools and encourage deeper reflection on existing teaching practices.

Abstract

The implementation of Islamic Education cannot be separated from the availability of adequate financial capacity so that the implementation of teaching and learning programs can run well. Moreover, non-formal Islamic Education institutions such as Tahfidz House. This research was conducted at Rumah Tahfidzul Quran (RTQ) Bukittinggi which aims to find out the fundraising strategy of RTQ Markazul Quran Bukittinggi in raising funds from donors so that it can meet the operational needs at RTQ. Data were collected through interviews with managers and donors. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of connecting data with the focus of the problem, identifying patterns from the data, uniting patterns so as to answer the focus of the problem. This article found that the success of fundraising is determined by the expertise of the fundraising team in planning and implementing fundraising activities through a number of varied programs. Through this research, it can be a recommendation for managers of Tahfidz House or Islamic Education Institutions in general in managing fundraising activities in their institutions.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate and analyze the role of Christian schools in shaping the Christian character of students through a case study approach. Education in Christian schools has a specific goal, namely to create a learning environment that reflects and integrates the values of the Christian religion into the daily lives of students. The primary focus of this research is on the role of teachers as role models and facilitators in the formation of Christian character, as well as the impact of religious activities on the development of the moral and spiritual aspects of students. The research method employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data is collected through in-depth interviews with teachers, school staff, and students, as well as direct observations of religious activities at the school. Thematic data analysis is conducted to explore how the interaction between the components of Christian schools contributes to the formation of students' character. The results of the research are expected to provide in-depth insights into the role of Christian schools in the development of Christian character in students. The implications of this research include the potential application of effective character education practices in Christian schools and contributions to further developments in the literature on Christian religious education.
