Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide a study on the thinking process to improve the learning process. This research uses a research method obtained from the publication of research articles in scientific journals previously. It includes three stages: setting, synthesizing, and identifying. Based on the results obtained, mathematics is a subject that can introduce and develop computational thinking skills in students.

Abstract

Abstrak The computational thinking abilities of junior high school students are in the category of not meeting the criteria, many of the students make mistakes in finding mathematical solutions. This study will focus on problem solving abilities using computational thinking in junior high school students. The method used in this research is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) . This research method was carried out by analyzing, researching, assessing, cross-checking and interpreting all existing research results. The researcher categorized the computational thinking level of junior high school students from the articles referred to, namely high, medium and low level thinking. The research results from the 5 articles sampled show that junior high school computing thinking abilities are in the middle or categorized as moderate

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze time and costs with an initial Time Schedule using the Time Cost Trade Off method in a 2-storey Residential House Development Project. The method used to complete this research is descriptive method by examining case studies. The results showed that the addition of overtime hours had an optimum duration of 146 HK or 3% which resulted in an increase in project costs due to overtime hours of Rp. 2,628,281.25 so that the project cost increases from Rp. 767,230,000.00 to Rp. 769,858,281.25 Meanwhile, the addition of the number of workers with an optimum time of 146 HK resulted in an increase in project costs of IDR 95,000.00 so that the project cost increased from IDR. 767,230,000.00 to Rp. 76.325,000.00 . From the results of this study it can be seen that adding workers is more efficient than adding overtime hours with greater cost advantages.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the value of PMP (Probable Maximum Precipitation), to analyze the design flood discharge to evaluate the magnitude of the design flood discharge at various return periods of 2, 5, 10, 20, 25, 50, 100 years, to analyze the peak discharge, peak time and time basis using the Snyder Synthetic Unit Hydrograph. In this research conducted in the Jangkok Watershed (DAS), West Lombok Regency, the type of data used in this study was data obtained from secondary data, literature studies, various literature, as well as observational and measurement data at the research location. The annual maximum rainfall is 121.78 mm while the average rainfall is 12.178 mm, the PMP (Probable Maximum Precipitation) value on the Jangkok river is 79.563 mm, the design flood seed with a return period of 2, 5, 10, 20, 25, 50, and 100 years using the Haspers method obtained respectively: 126.70 mm; 292.11 mm, 584.23 mm, 1168.47 mm, 1460.58 mm, 2921.17 mm, 5842.35 mm, peak time (Tp), peak discharge (Qp) and base time (Tb) after calculations using the developed Snyder HSS method are obtained for: Tp = 0.538 hours; Qp = 147.364 m3 and Tb = 0.059 hours.

Abstract

This research discusses the application of the Runge Kutta Fehlberg method in predicting population growth in West Sulawesi through the logistic equation. Employing applied research methodology, the study seeks to forecast future population trends in the West Sulawesi province. Utilizing a step size of h = 0.01 and a growth rate of m = 0.0198, the Runge-Kutta Fehlberg method (RKF 45) was applied, starting from an initial population value  of   P (t0) = 1.419.229 individuals, resulting in a projected population of P (t10) = 1.506.142 individuals. These findings demonstrate the applicability of the Runge-Kutta Fehlberg (RKF 45) method in predicting population dynamics in West Sulawesi Province.

Abstract

This research is part of development research which aims to test the validity of the three-dimensional learning media of the earth's layers in the material about getting to know our earth on students' learning interest. The subjects of this research were two teachers and four fifth grade elementary school students who provided validation sheets to the teachers and questionnaire instruments to the students. Next, the data was analyzed quantitatively descriptively. Based on data analysis, the data obtained shows that the average percentage of indicators of student interest in learning is 59.37%, which is included in the category of high interest in learning. In essence, this media is valid and suitable for use in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to solve the mathematical model of anaemia disease numerically using the Runge-Kutta fourth-order method. The mathematical model used is a SAR model in the form of a system of differential equations that includes the number of susceptible populations (S), anaemic populations (A), and recovered human populations (R) as initial values. This model is analysed and simulated with the values of µ, α, β, ε, π as parameters and carried out as many as several iterations with an interval time or h= 0.5 months. The initial values given are S0 = 12881,  A0 = 129, R0 = 129. The simulation results in the first iteration are the rate of susceptible population (S) = 12754 , anaemic population (A) = 128 and recovered population (R) = 192 . In the second iteration the rate of susceptible population (S) = 12630, anaemic population (A) = 126 and recovered population (R) = 254 . From the results obtained it can be concluded that the rate of susceptible population and anaemic population has decreased, while for the recovered population has increased.

Abstract

This study addresses the issue of the weekly morning roll call duty assignment at XYZ Agency. The allocation of morning roll call duties at XYZ Agency has been incidental, leading to uneven task assignments for employees. The author proposes a solution to this problem by implementing the Welch-Powell Algorithm on Graph Coloring to determine the allocation of morning roll call duties for XYZ Agency employees. This is achieved by representing each employee as a point, and the edges represent job similarities. The graph coloring results in this study produce 4 colors: red, green, blue, and purple, with connected points having different colors. The findings reveal that 20 employees participate in the roll call duty each month. The duty assignments are then made for six months and compiled into a task assignment table. Based on descriptive statistical results, each employee receives an average assignment of 4.68 times with a standard deviation of 1.38. Furthermore, the Levene's Test is employed to ensure the equality of workload among different employee job groups. The results indicate differences in the assignment workload among job groups

Abstract

This study discusses the solution of a system of non linear equation from the steam reforming reaction  which consist of two non-linear equation with two variables, namely the  and  variables which will be solved using the Newton-Raphson method. The results of the final iteration  are obtained with a value of x is 0,754090792 and y is 0,700893797. These two values will be substituted into the mole fraction formula to find the equilibrium composition of the steam reforming reaction components. The research results were obtained by formulating the mole fraction of each component of a chemical compound that had been formulated, then the value of the mole fraction for each component of the chemical compound was obtained, the value of the mole fraction for CO = 0,00462, H2 = 0,25745, CO2 = 0,06089, H2O = 0,56875 and CH4 = 0,10827. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the Newton-Raphson method can be applied to find the equilibrium composition of the components of the steam reforming reaction.

Abstract

Soap is often combined with sodium and potassium salt formulations of fatty acids derived from vegetable oils or animal fats. This study discusses the needs of the skin such as the manufacture of liquid soap with natural ingredients saga leaves. The research method used is by maceration method with 70% ethanol solvent soaked for 3 days at room temperature stirred every 8 hours. The purpose of the research that has been done is the formulation and evaluation of liquid soap preparation from saga leaf extract (Abrus Precatorius L.). Quality testing includes organoleptic test, pH test, viscosity test and foam height Test. Organoleptic test results showed that liquid soap is yellow, rancid odor, fine texture, pH test obtained all the results exceed the requirements of SNI 8-11, viscosity test all the results obtained are too low than the requirements of SNI is 400-4000cps and high foam test results obtained also do not meet the requirements of SNI is about 13-220 mm
