Abstract

Deep breathing relaxation therapy is a breathing in the abdomen with a slow frequency and slowly, rhythmically, and comfortably by closing the eyes while breathing. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of deep breathing relaxation techniques on the intensity of pain in mothers in labor at the Midwife Practice. Pre-experimental design method. The population in this study were mothers giving birth at the Midwife Practice. Purposive sampling technique. The analysis used was univariate and bivariate analysis using the Wilcoxon test. The results of the study showed that before the deep breathing relaxation technique was carried out, there were 73.3% who had moderate pain and 26.7% who had severe pain and after the deep breathing relaxation technique was carried out, there was mild pain 80%. % and moderate pain 20%. The results showed that there was an influence of deep breathing relaxation techniques on the intensity of pain in mothers giving birth, which was seen from the results of the post-test, the level of labor pain decreased. The conclusion of the study was that there was an influence of deep breathing relaxation techniques on the intensity of pain in mothers giving birth at the Midwife Practice. It is expected that midwives will play an active role in providing the use of deep breathing relaxation methods during labor to reduce the level of labor pain so as to improve services for patients.

Abstract

Fibroadenoma mammae is a benign tumor that often occurs in the breast that originates from fibrous tissue (mesenchyme) and glandular tissue (epithelium) in the breast. Fibroadenoma mammae is a disorder in the growth of normal breast cells where abnormal cells arise from normal cells, multiply and infiltrate lymphatic tissue and blood vessels. The cause of breast tumors has not been determined, but there are several genetic factors. Breast cancer shows malignant proliferation of epithelial cells that limit the ducts or lobes of the breast. Initially there is only cell hyperplasia with the development of atypical cells and then continues to carcinoma in situ and cells become masses. Steroid hormones produced by the ovaries also play a role in the formation of breast tumors. The purpose of the study was to gain real experience in implementing nursing care for patients with Breast Tumors in the Treatment Room of the Regional General Hospital. This study uses a descriptive research approach, the subject of the study is to use one patient according to the specified inclusion and exclusion data. Data were obtained by conducting direct observation and interview assessments with patients. The results of the assessment obtained data from patients suffering from fibroadenomae mammae. Analysis of nursing diagnosis data is the risk of pain comfort, sleep pattern disorders and activities. Nursing planning is checking blood pressure, giving injections, teaching breathing relaxation techniques in assessing pain scales, giving injections, cefotaxin I g / IV, giving Ketorolac 30mg / IV injections. The conclusion of this case study gets an overview of nursing care with fibroadenomae mammae.

Abstract

Diarrhea is a condition in which the frequency of bowel movements becomes abnormal, which is usually 1 x a day, to more than 3 x a day with a liquid stool consistency and usually accompanied by mucus and blood. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of toddlers with acute diarrhea at the Antang Health Center. This type of research is descriptive research using a cross-sectional approach, the results of which are only an illustration. Statistical analysis was conducted to describe the characteristics of each patient using descriptive frequency test. The results of the study prove that exclusive breastfeeding contains antibodies needed to defend against pathogens in toddlers suffering from acute diarrhea at the Antang Health Center, the majority of whom are female, aged 1-2 years, have a history of exclusive breastfeeding, with a last education of junior high school and low family income. It is hoped that this study will be a source of information for the local Health Office and Health Center to reduce the incidence of acute diarrhea.

Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is one of the most common gynecological problems and can affect more than 50% of women causing the inability to perform daily activities for 1 to 3 days each month. Absenteeism in adolescents from school is one of the consequences of primary dysmenorrhea reaching approximately 25%. Dysmenorrhea is caused by increased prostaglandin hormones, increased prostaglandin hormones are caused by decreased estrogen and progesterone hormones causing the endometrium to swell and die because it is not fertilized. Increased prostaglandin hormones cause uterine muscles to contract and produce pain. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of morning dysmenorrhea exercises in treating menstrual pain in adolescent girls during menstruation at SMK TRIS Maros. This research method uses a quasi-experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were female students of SMK TRIS Maros with a sample of 20 respondents using a sampling technique of purposive sampling. The results of the study showed a difference before and after dysmenorrhea exercises in the morning of -3.804 and a difference before and after dysmenorrhea exercises in the afternoon of -5.239, thus dysmenorrhea exercises in the afternoon are more effective than dysmenorrhea exercises in the morning in reducing menstrual pain during menstruation with a p value of 0.000. It is expected that health workers will provide counseling or health promotion about women's reproductive health, especially the management of dysmenorrhea with dysmenorrhea exercises as a non-pharmacological therapy that does not have a negative impact on the body.

The instruments in this study were questionnaires and checklists using univariate and bivariate data analysis. From the research results, it was found that there is a relationship between the implementation of mosquito nest eradication (PSN) , there is a relationship between TPA, there is a relationship between the existence of solid waste and the existence of larvae and there is no relationship between the frequency of mosquito larvae visits and the existence of larvae. In conclusion, there is a relationship between the implementation of mosquito nest eradication (PSN), TPA, and the existence of solid waste with the presence of larvae, and there is no relationship between the frequency of mosquito larvae visits and the presence of larvae.
