Abstract

The concept of fostering environmentally conscious urban environments has emerged as a pivotal strategy in mitigating the escalating pace of developmental endeavors. A prominent approach entails the adoption of eco-friendly transportation modalities, prominently featuring non-motorized conveyance options. A tangible stride towards the realization of eco-centric urban landscapes lies in the alteration of societal lifestyles, thereby cultivating heightened environmental consciousness. Across various locales in Indonesia, the prevalent trajectory towards eco-friendly living is epitomized by the widespread embrace of bicycling as a quintessential means to augment communal mobility. This burgeoning proclivity has engendered the establishment of dedicated bicycle infrastructure within urban landscapes, exemplified by communal cycling initiatives and the institution of “Car Free Day” initiatives. Moreover, Pekanbaru City—characterized by its distinctive topography, climate dynamics, and idiosyncratic urban features—presents a distinct milieu that accentuates the complexities entailed in orchestrating widespread bicycle utilization. Therefore, the objective of this study is to explore how the deployment of bicycle lanes can be tailored to accommodate the community’s demands for bicycle usage, the demographics of bicycle users, and the appropriateness of bicycle lane integration.

Abstract

Education 4.0 (EDUC4) is a trend that is completely changing the way of teaching and learning at all levels from preschool, elementary school, high school to university in the 4.0 industrial era. This concept encourages learners to equip themselves with skills and knowledge through virtual learning environments and advanced technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence (AI). However, to implement EDUC4 effectively and fairly, the role of the state is very important. The state needs to develop supportive policies, invest in technology infrastructure and digital skills training for teachers. Synchronization between policy and practice is a key factor to create a modern, flexible education system that meets the requirements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. In Vietnam, digital transformation in education is institutionalized in documents from the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Education and Training. The national digital transformation program to 2025, with a vision to 2030, has changed teaching methods from traditional to active, improving the quality of education and saving time. The Ministry of Education and Training has built a database to manage detailed information of all schools from preschool to high school, digitized and connected the education sector database with the national database about population. Although many positive results have been achieved, Vietnam still has many limitations in implementing EDUC4, such as difficulties with network infrastructure in remote areas, control of digital learning materials, and legal regulations. Incomplete. A strong effort from the state is needed to overcome these challenges and ensure that all learners have access to modern and effective education. Through this article, the author provides a qualitative research model from previous studies on factors affecting the role of the state in EDUC4, thereby conducting linear regression analysis and providing solutions suitable recommendations.

Abstract

The maternal mortality rate (MMR) and infant mortality rate (IMR) are key performance indicators for a nation. For every Indonesian population, MMR and IMR represent one of the parameters of optimal health status. In an effort to lower the MMR, health professionals are urged to use Partograph to track the progress of labor and make appropriate decisions if pathological conditions are discovered. It has been demonstrated that the Partograph works well for both identifying irregularities in labor and preventing prolonged labor. The purpose of the study is to find out how Partograph are used by midwives at the Independent Midwife Practice in the West Pasaman district. Since the informants for this research are independent practice midwives, the qualitative descriptive research method will be used to collect data through focus group discussions (FGD), in-depth interviews, and observations. Data analysis: By deciphering, writing up, and drawing conclusions from in-depth interviews conducted with key informants and two discussion groups. The research's conclusions are based on the findings of two focus groups and two key informant interviews. Specifically, Partograph are used by independent practice midwives to aid in childbirth; some midwives have also used them to track the progression of labor, particularly for patients with birth insurance so they can claim delivery expenses. The Partograph is filled all the way, but occasionally it is filled after delivery. The only reason partography is applied is to obtain Jampersal fees; independent practical midwives are knowledgeable about partography and have a positive attitude toward it. Organizational policies and leadership for IBI are still lacking.
