Abstract

Managing the assets of the public market in Kota Juang, Bireuen District, must be implemented well to provide an overview of regional wealth, clarify ownership status, safeguard regional goods, and increase regional original income. This research aims to analyze the factors that most influence the less-than-optimal management of public market assets in Kota Juang, Bireuen District, in terms of the role of the market community for good operational sustainability in helping to develop traders' businesses and to find out which infrastructure facilities and infrastructure need to be revitalized. The management of public market assets in Kota Juang, Bireuen District, is optimized by implementing the Geographic Information System/GIS. There are four stages in using the GIS application. The first stage is the data input stage, which includes planning, determining goals, collecting data, and entering it into the computer. Then, the data processing and analysis stage, as well as the output stage, which is the final phase, is presented as a hardcopy map, data tabulation, or a website. The data inputted as attributes in this GIS application is obtained from observations at market locations and related agencies in the form of location maps, Figures of the condition/existing market assets, supporting infrastructure data, and data on traders in the market community. This research uses purposive sampling techniques and data analysis using SWOT analysis. From the results of partial hypothesis testing on building conditions where the t-count = 4.769, while the t-count for facilities and infrastructure is 5.756, this value is greater than the t-table, namely 2.014, so it significantly affects market asset management. The final result of the SWOT analysis is to overcome the problems in the public market area by planning the need for facilities and infrastructure or infrastructure that is no longer suitable so that it can be revitalized and increase the role of market managers by preparing standard operating procedures.

Abstract

The effective management of multicultural teams is crucial for fostering a harmonious and productive work environment in Nepalese financial institutions, particularly within the Kathmandu Valley. This study investigates the dimensions influencing multicultural team effectiveness, including working environment, communication quality, superior’s support, remuneration, and cultural intelligence. Employing descriptive and causal comparative research designs, the study utilized convenience sampling to gather primary data from 418 respondents across 17 commercial banks. A structured questionnaire was administered, and Cronbach's alpha was employed to assess reliability. The analysis revealed that working environment, communication quality, superior's support, and cultural intelligence has positive and significant impact on multicultural team effectiveness. However, remuneration has negative and insignificant influence on the multicultural team effectiveness. The study concludes that improvements in working environment, communication quality, superior’s support, remuneration, and cultural intelligence were associated with enhanced team performance. The findings highlight the necessity for financial institutions to implement strategies that promote effective management of multicultural teams. Recommendations include providing meditation sessions to alleviate work-related stress, fostering an inclusive culture through team-building activities, and offering training on cultural sensitivity and communication styles. This research adds to the existing literature by providing empirical evidence on the factors influencing multicultural team effectiveness in Nepalese financial institutions and outlining practical management strategies.

Abstract

The intricate, nonlinear interactions between several process parameters make it difficult to accurately forecast biogas and methane (CH₄) yields in anaerobic digestion systems. Conventional kinetic models frequently do not capture these dynamics well, particularly in co-digestion systems with heterogeneous substrates. This was addressed by developing and testing a Multilayer Perceptron Artificial Neural Network (MLP-ANN) for predicting cumulative biogas and CH₄ production from the anaerobic co-digestion of soymilk dregs and cow manure. Different pH values, substrate mixing ratios, and hydraulic retention durations were used to operate batch-mode digesters. Three input parameters, one hidden layer with three neurons, and two output nodes that represented the yields of methane (CH4) and biogas made up the feed-forward ANN architecture. The result showed negligible prediction errors and very high coefficients of determination (R2) of 0.999 for both outputs, and the model exhibited exceptionally accurate predictive power. The average relative errors for the training and testing stages were 0.002 and 0.004, respectively, confirming the model's excellent generalization capabilities. These findings support the optimization of anaerobic digestion systems by validating the MLP-ANN as a reliable and efficient forecasting method. This MLP-ANN can be used for forecasting biogas and CH₄ outputs based on pH values, substrate mixing ratios, and hydraulic retention times.

Abstract

The livestock business is a unique business, different from ordinary businesses such as the daily necessities business. The livestock business is usually associated with special moments, namely Eid al-Adha (qurban) and aqiqoh. This business is very interesting to study, because this business is related to: special moments, special goods and services, as well as special market segmentation and target markets. The aqiqoh business is closely related to religious awareness as well as closely related to the economic capabilities of young Muslim families, when they decide to carry out aqiqoh. Similarly, the sale of livestock at the moment of Eid al-Adha, only occurs in a once-a-year period. Therefore, the livestock business requires marketing communication management that is managed specifically, different from other business marketing. This research method was conducted to obtain data through interviews, observations and documentation on the object of research. The purpose of this research is to find out how marketing management uses omni channels as a means of marketing livestock by utilizing religious moments, namely aqiqoh and qurban carried out by PT Prima Aqiqoh Lampung. The results of this study indicate that the combination of Instagram social media utilization and social networking is very effective for livestock business marketing media, especially at religious moments of aqiqoh and qurban.

Abstract

This research explores the relationship between financial vulnerability and three key corporate metrics, organizational magnitude, revenue expansion, and debt ratio, specifically examining technology enterprises registered on the Indonesian Securities Market from 2021 through 2023. The investigation treats organizational magnitude, revenue expansion, and debt ratio as predictor variables, with financial vulnerability serving as the outcome measure. The researchers employed a numbers-based analytical framework. The target population encompassed technology industry corporations listed on the ISM throughout the three-year period under scrutiny. Employing criterion-based selection methods, researchers identified 20 appropriate corporations for comprehensive evaluation. Statistical calculations utilized multiple correlation techniques through IBM's analytical software platform (SPSS v27). All numerical information was sourced secondarily via the Indonesian Securities Market's digital repository. The analytical outcomes reveal that organizational magnitude, revenue expansion, and debt ratio collectively demonstrate statistically meaningful correlation with financial vulnerability. Moreover, each individual factor, organizational magnitude, revenue expansion, and debt ratio, exhibits its own distinctive relationship with corporate financial vulnerability.

Abstract

Procurement governance represents a strategic function critical to the success of public organizations, particularly Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMDs), which operate under hybrid mandates combining public service delivery and market competitiveness. This study critically examines the applicability of the Indonesia Procurement Maturity Model (IPM2) to BUMDs and proposes an adapted conceptual framework better suited to their unique governance complexities. Through analytical deconstruction, the study finds that while elements such as transparency, accountability, and technology utilization in IPM2 are directly adoptable, significant adjustments are necessary in organizational structures, competency frameworks, and risk management approaches. Rigid elements tied to governmental budget cycles and inspectorate-driven oversight are deemed incompatible with BUMD operational realities. An adapted maturity model is proposed, positioning procurement as a strategic enabler supported by five interconnected adaptive dimensions: Strategic Human Capital Development, Agile Institutional Structures, Performance-Driven Management Systems, Strategic Technological Integration, and Proactive Risk and Opportunity Management. Grounded in contingency theory and contemporary hybrid governance literature, the model reframes procurement maturity as a dynamic, value-driven system rather than a linear, compliance-oriented progression. This research offers both a practical roadmap for BUMDs and a conceptual contribution to the evolving field of procurement governance in hybrid public organizations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)-based economic learning for Vocational High School (SMK) students in Minahasa Regency. The focus of the study includes teachers' understanding of the HOTS concept, the learning strategies applied, the forms of evaluation used, and the factors that inhibit the implementation of HOTS in the learning process. The method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and documentation of evaluation questions. The results of the study indicate that most teachers do not fully understand the HOTS concept, which has an impact on the low implementation of learning strategies based on analysis, evaluation, and creation. Learning evaluation is still dominated by low cognitive level questions (C1–C2), while HOTS-based questions are still minimal. Factors inhibiting HOTS implementation include time constraints, lack of training, inadequate learning facilities, and low student learning motivation. This study recommends the need for HOTS question preparation training, provision of educational technology facilities, and systemic support from school management to encourage more contextual economic learning and be able to develop students' critical thinking skills.
