Abstract

This study examines the practice of gold buying and selling on credit in Pidie Regency, Indonesia. As a precious metal, gold has various uses, from jewelry to investment, and its rising value encourages many to use it as a savings instrument. Indonesia, a major gold producer, experiences price fluctuations driven by supply, demand, and the US dollar. With evolving business practices, credit transactions have become common, including in gold trading. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research explores processes, actors, and market dynamics in credit-based gold transactions. The findings reveal that these transactions involve selling gold above market prices with specific payment terms, offering traders the flexibility to resell and meet capital needs quickly. Gold remains a preferred investment due to its stable value and inflation resistance, now more accessible through digital platforms. Despite installment options, gold transactions in Kota Sigli largely adhere to Sharia principles, involving either cash payments or interest-free installments where the gold is held until fully paid. This approach prevents interest-based practices, ensuring transactions align with Islamic finance principles.

Abstract

Pesantren Qomaruddin Sampurnan Bungah Gresik, as one of the oldest Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia, has undergone a long journey in its transformation from a traditional educational system to a more modern and multidisciplinary approach. Initially, this pesantren focused on teaching classical Islamic texts (kitab kuning) using the *sorogan* and *bandongan* methods. However, over time, due to social changes and the development of knowledge, Pesantren Qomaruddin began adopting a more diverse curriculum, including general subjects such as science, technology, and foreign languages. This modernization also includes updates in teaching methods, the use of information technology, and collaboration with formal educational institutions. This article examines the evolution process, highlighting the driving factors behind the changes, the challenges faced, and its impact on the pesantren community and the surrounding society. Thus, Pesantren Qomaruddin becomes a concrete example of how traditional educational institutions can adapt and remain relevant in the globalization era without losing their Islamic identity.

Abstract

Character education is an effort to shape personality and noble morals in individuals. This is becoming increasingly important in today's modern era, where moral and ethical values ​​are increasingly being eroded. As a result, character education in elementary schools is very important to shape students' morals and morals. The Qur'an as the main source in Islam contains many verses that discuss character education. These verses can be used as guidelines for building a young generation with noble character. This article reviews the development strategy for character education from an Islamic perspective at SDN 2 Sukamanah. This character education program is designed and implemented carefully and carefully to teach students the values ​​of human behavior related to God, fellow humans, the environment and nationality. Through contextual and textual understanding studies, this paper aims to gain an understanding of the character education approach formulated from an Islamic perspective at SDN 2 Sukamanah. Abstract

One modern phenomenon known as “phone snubbing”, where a person focuses on their phone rather than interacting with others, negatively impacts communication and social relationships. The type of research used is field research with a qualitative descriptive method, which is employed to describe, reveal, and explain phenomena or issues in the educational environment. Data was collected through observations and in-depth interviews with Islamic Education teachers. Research shows that religious education teachers use religious educational materials to instill moral and ethical values. They also implement extracurricular activities that support social interaction and develop students character. The collaboration between Islamic Education teachers and guidance counselors is very important for monitoring responsible technology use. To reduce phubbing, this research suggests enhancing digital education, parental involvement, and regular assessments.

Abstract

The theme of hermeneutics in the Quran often promises a heated debate and is always interesting to observe. Although perhaps methodologically, no new issues are raised, the gap between Islam as das sollen and Muslim civilisation as das sein, especially in the modern era, remains a highlight for the academic world. Some are on the side of accommodating the times and are not reluctant to change values that are considered out of date. Naṣr Ḥāmid Abū Zayd is in that position by offering the idea of Qiraah Muntijah as a solution.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how students' perceptions of learning methods affect their interest in learning. This study is a qualitative research conducted at MA Asy-Syafi'iyyah with students as the object of research. Data were collected through participatory observation and in-depth interviews. The results show that teachers who use monotonous and unvaried learning methods significantly affect students' interest in learning. Students who are engaged and motivated in the learning process have a high interest in learning, while students who are bored and unchallenged by the methods used tend to lose their interest in learning. Teachers' learning methods greatly influence students' interest in learning. By using innovative, interesting and engaging methods, students are more interested in learning and their interest increases.

Abstract

This study examines the favors in Surah Al-Kautsar according to Prof. Wahbah Az-Zuhaili in Tafsir Al-Munir. Tafsir al-Munir is a tafsir that examines the verses of the Qur'an in a comprehensive, complete, and covers various aspects needed by the reader. The explanation and determination of the laws are deduced from the verse of the Qur'an with a broader meaning, accompanied by the causes of the descent of the verse balaaghah (rhetoric), I'raab (syntax), as well as linguistic aspects. This study aims to analyze the blessings in Surah Al-Kautsar according to Prof. Wahbah Az-Zuhaili in Tafsir Al-Munir. The results of the analysis show that Tafsir Al-Munir explains the cause of the revelation of Surah Al-Kautsar, the content of the verse and some aspects that can be done in everyday life. This study also explains that Surah Al-Kautsar explains that Allah has given so many favors to the prophet Muhammad Saw. and his people. So, we should be grateful for these favors by praying sincerely and slaughtering with the concept of tawhid to Allah Ta'ala.

Abstract

This paper discusses the role of Islamic education within a multidisciplinary curriculum that integrates various disciplines to provide a more comprehensive understanding of Islamic teachings. This multidisciplinary approach is considered essential in addressing the challenges of modern times, particularly in Islamic Religious Education (IRE). By utilizing multiple perspectives, it is expected that students will gain broader and deeper knowledge not only in religious contexts but also in social, cultural, and scientific aspects. The research method used in this paper is literature review, where various academic sources and theories of Islamic education are examined to understand the application of the multidisciplinary approach in education. The findings indicate that a multidisciplinary curriculum in IRE can help shape students' character holistically, encompassing spiritual, moral, and intellectual dimensions.

Abstract

Based on data at the beginning of January 2024,more than 70% of the Indonesian population accesses the internet every day. Internet is created to make human affairs easier. Although in reality positive and negative impacts arise from its use. In the scope of da'wah, digital mastery is a necessity to expand the impact of da'wah provided. So it is imperative for da'I and daiyah to be able to adapt to advance in technology. So, this research aims to determine the level of digital literacy and digital da'wah readiness of Stiba Makassar students. By using a qualitative approach methodology. The research results found that students' digital literacy levels were based on 4 pillars of digital literacy, namely digital skills, digital culture, digital ethics, and digital safety. On the digital skills pillar, student stability is at a low level, while on the digital safety pillar it is at a low level. In the digital culture pillar it is at a medium level, in the digital ethics pillar it is at a high level. The readiness for digital da'wah of STIBA students is not ready. As a Collage that makes da'wah as the main program in its education, it is important to play a role in increasing the digital literacy of its students in facing current developments and preparing them for roles in digital da'wah.

Abstract

This article focuses on the concept of hadith text criticism, which is essential to understand when evaluating hadiths. It covers the history, objectives, benefits, and steps involved in the process of text criticism. The method employed is library research using a deductive-inductive analytical approach to assess the quality of a hadith, ensuring its authenticity is undisputed when practiced. The research findings reveal that both sanad (chain of narration) and matan (text) criticism have been in practice since the time of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). This practice was carried out by his companions, the tabi’in, the tabi’-tabi’in, and hadith scholars up to the present day. Text criticism is particularly important to determine whether a hadith's matan is authentic or not. If the matan is found to be unauthentic, the hadith cannot be used as a basis for religious matters.
