Jurnal Keker Wisata ini wadah publikasi yang fokus pada semua kegiaatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membina dosen dan mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan kemampuan, keterampilan, dan kemandirian dalam melaksanakan pengabdian pada masyarakat serta mempublikasikan dengan laporan kegiatan. Setiap laporan kegiatan pengabdian ini akan memaparkan hal-hal yang bersifat solutif bagi masyakata dan dapat di contoh oleh pengabdi lainnya. Skema kegitan dapat dilaksanakan secara kelompok yang terdiri dari dosen dan mahasiswa serta secara mandiri maupun di organisasi oleh Politeknik Pariwisata Batam melalui Puslitabmas. Adapun fokus dan scope publikasi kegiatan pengabdian melalui Jurnal Keker Wisata ini adalah Bansos, Sosialisasi, Pembinaan, Pelatihan, dan Pendampingan. Jurnal ini waktu terbitan dua kali dalam setahun yaitu pada bulan Januari dan Juli. Semua artikel pengabdian yang masuk melalui OJS Jurnal Kekeran ini akan diproses oleh reviewer yang telah ditatapkan Puslitabmas sebagai bagian dari Dewan Redaksi Jurnal Keker Wisata

Abstract

Cafe merupakan tempat untuk menukmati minuman dan makanan serta menjadi tempat untuk menghabiskan watu bersama orang-orang terdekat. Cafe saat ini mempunyai banyak pelayanan dan pengalaman yang di tawarkan untuk dapat menikmati makanan tersebut. Untuk itu cafe harus berlomba-lomba untuk memberikan pelayanan serta pengalaman yang menarik kepada tamu yang datang. Cafe yang ada dikota batam mempunyai banyak pilihan yang dibisa dipilih oleh penikmat kafe. Cafe akan menyajikan makanan dan minuman yang mereka miliki agar tamu yang datang tetapi menjadi langganan dari cafe tersebut. Setiap cafe akan meningkatkan kualitas dari setiap aspek untuk menjadi yang terbaik. Selain dari makanan dan minuman yang disajikan terbaik, cafe juga harus meningkatkan mutu pelayanan yang diberikan. Pelayanan tersebut berasal dari sikap dan cara pelayan dan front liner yang ada dicafe tersebut. Pelayanan yang ramah, cepat dan tepat menjadi sukses pelayanan yang diberikan oleh tim yang ada di cafe. Setiap cafe akan memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik oleh karyawannnya namun ada pada saat tertentu pelayanan tidak dapat di berikan secara maksmial.

Abstract

Many MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) actors are covered by their lack of knowledge about digital marketing and electronic commerce (e-commerce). Take advantage of the potential in digital marketing and how to create good digital content to attract customers. Based on various facts obtained from the field, it can be formulated that the problems that arise in the EPI (Excellent Preneur Indonesia) MSME community are: lack of content creation and content sharing for digital marketing content. This problem prompted the community service team to provide outreach regarding digital content creation for the development of the MSME community. The method used is in the form of lectures, then questions and answers, and practice of creating content. The outreach was attended by 25 participants and went smoothly. This service activity produced results, including being able to increase knowledge and motivation as well as participants' ideas for creating digital content for the business they were running and adjusted according to target customers.

Abstract

SMA 26 is one of the state schools in Batam City. Batam 26 High School or known as Smandanam is a superior school which aims to produce a generation of knowledge and superior character. The PKM Team for the Batam Culinary Management Study Program and Tourism Polytechnic through PKM Activities chose SMA 26 as a partner because the school needs to increase self-development through student innovation through local food. Apart from that, its PKM activities are also in line with the Food Technology and Entrepreneurship courses. The selection of products to innovate is based on discussions between partners and their PKM teams. Based on the results of dedication to innovative learning in building student character in elementary schools, it is that in innovative learning teachers must prioritize fun learning to improve innovative learning outcomes and have students who have good character in learning.

Abstract

Community service is one of the mandatory duties of lecturers as part of the realization of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education activities. In line with this, Tri Dharma activities are focused on important activities in contributing to improving the quality of life of the community, especially in developing skills that can be used in a wider range of society. One of the activities carried out was English Debate Parliamentary System Training for Vocational High School English MGMP Teachers throughout Batam City at the Batam Tourism Polytechnic. This training aims to provide information to Gugus Cahaya Jingga PAUD teachers regarding the English Debate Parliamentary System. The specific target to be achieved is to make GUGUS CAHAYA JINGGA PAUD teachers skilled in implementing the English Parliamentary Debate System in learning.

Abstract

This community service initiative is designed to provide an alternative educational platform targeting both educators and students. Furthermore, it seeks to engage the participation of students' parents and committees in supporting school food safety programs. Concurrently, educators are equipped with the skills to enhance the management of school canteens, ensuring the provision of snacks that meet stringent safety, quality, and nutritional standards. The primary objective is to cultivate awareness among all members of the school community regarding the paramount importance of selecting snacks that are not only safe but also of high quality and nutritional value. It is anticipated that this heightened awareness will empower the community to make judicious choices in their food consumption. The methodology employed in this community service initiative includes the dissemination of learning materials and references through structured presentations and interactive sessions, incorporating a question-and-answer format. Participants undergo a comprehensive learning process, acquiring knowledge and practical skills through demonstrative sessions that are subsequently applied. Through the evaluation of program implementation and outcomes, factors supporting or hindering the success of this community service initiative can be discerned. The socialization process places a particular emphasis on elucidating the potential hazards associated with the misuse of substances in food, such as rhodamine B, methanyl yellow, formalin, and borax. Participants are not only informed about these dangers but are also provided with guidance on effectively educating and guiding students towards the consumption of healthful snacks. The initiative additionally aspires to motivate educators to prioritize the psychological well-being of their students, with the ultimate goal of fostering independence within the school community concerning food safety.

Abstract

This service investigates the entrepreneurial readiness attitudes of Vocational High School (SMKN 2 Batam) students based on their abilities and work motivation. The purpose of this study is to examine the extent to which the skills students acquire at SMKN influence their preparation for business management and the workforce. The research methods used included questionnaires and qualitative data analysis of his SMKN 2 Batam students from different professional programs. The survey includes questions regarding skills acquired during training at SMKN, attitudes toward entrepreneurial preparation and job readiness. Descriptive analysis is used to assess the relationship between competency, entrepreneurial readiness, and job readiness. The findings show that there is a positive relationship between the skills students acquire at SMKN and their attitudes toward entrepreneurial preparation. Furthermore, high skills also help improve work motivation. These results provide a deeper understanding of how training at SMKN can effectively influence students' attitudes toward entrepreneurship and job readiness. This study makes an important contribution in the context of SMKN curriculum development, showing that competencies play an important role in shaping attitudes towards entrepreneurial preparation and preparing students for the dynamics of the world of work.is highlighted. The implications of these findings may help design educational programs focused on developing skills that support SMKN students' entrepreneurial success and job readiness.

Abstract

Moist towel (osihibori) skills and knowledge training aims to increase knowledge and skills in making and managing it. Oshibori is wet towel used to clean hands in hotels, restaurants and other public places. This training was carried out with the aim of improving service quality and guest satisfaction. Skills and knowledge training consists of understanding, folding techniques and presentation techniques. Training is carried out using lecture, demonstration and direct practice methods. The results show that participants can improve their knowledge and skills in managing oshibori well.

Abstract

Several lecturers are members of the community service team carrying out Hygiene Care Practice Activities with Employees in the Vitka Fitness Center, Excelso, Nasi Kapau Pak Nin, RM Simple, and Café Momo. This activity is very necessary and beneficial for a company, so all cleaning workers must take advantage of this training. This service is carried out by visiting the destination where the method is to analyze and solve the problem by providing theoretical and practical guidance which takes place in several Vitka Holding Housekeeping Departments. In this service, local supervisors act as companions for the workers who receive direction from the service team. The service members also provide direct direction to workers who are responsible for cleanliness in the Vitka Holding environment. This was done based on observations by management who assessed that the level of cleanliness in the work environment had decreased. Vitka Holding Housekeeping Department itself is one umbrella with the superior, leading, quality Batam Tourism Polytechnic which is a center for tourism education and development, especially in the hospitality sector which gave birth to housekeeping, no doubt located on Jalan Gajah Mada the Vitka City Complex, Tiban Batam, Riau Islands Province , which has 4 majors, namely Rooms Division Management, Cuisine Division Management, Culinary Division Management and Tourism Planning Management. The expected results of this training are that workers will be more skilled and competent in carrying out their work and provide comfort for all guests who visit the Vitka Holding environment.

Training on food hygiene and sanitation is essential to ensure the safety and quality of food served to consumers. This training usually covers various aspects, such as personal hygiene practices, sanitizing kitchen equipment, safe food storage, and proper cleaning procedures. Typically, this training will cover topics such as: Personal Safety: Personal hygiene practices, such as proper hand washing, wearing clean work clothes, and handling food with clean hands. Sanitizing Equipment and Work Areas: How to clean and maintain kitchen equipment, including cleaning surfaces and work areas to prevent cross-contamination. Maintaining Food Conditions: How to store, process and prepare food to avoid contamination by bacteria or dangerous substances. Waste Management: Actions to safely dispose of waste and minimize the risk of environmental contamination. Food Safety Standards: Understand applicable food safety regulations and standards and the importance of compliance with these regulations.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the factors that influence excellent service in the context of the Caffee industry, with a focus on customer experience at Momoo Juice Bar & Caffeé Harbor Bay, Batam City. The research method used was a combination of a survey of several Caffee guests and in-depth interviews with customer service managers. The research results show that aspects of employee involvement, speed of response to customer requests, and quality of interaction have a significant impact on the level of guest satisfaction. Additionally, the findings highlight the importance of ongoing employee training to maintain high standards of service excellence. The implication of this research is the need for Momoo Juice Bar & Caffeé Harbor Bay, Batam City and perhaps also other cafes in the same industry to focus on developing employee interpersonal skills, using technology to increase response to customer requests, and increasing interdepartmental coordination to ensure a positive experience. seamless guest. This research contributes to the understanding of the importance of excellent service in the hotel industry and provides practical guidance for managers in improving the quality of service provided to guests.
