Jurnal Keker Wisata ini wadah publikasi yang fokus pada semua kegiaatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membina dosen dan mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan kemampuan, keterampilan, dan kemandirian dalam melaksanakan pengabdian pada masyarakat serta mempublikasikan dengan laporan kegiatan. Setiap laporan kegiatan pengabdian ini akan memaparkan hal-hal yang bersifat solutif bagi masyakata dan dapat di contoh oleh pengabdi lainnya. Skema kegitan dapat dilaksanakan secara kelompok yang terdiri dari dosen dan mahasiswa serta secara mandiri maupun di organisasi oleh Politeknik Pariwisata Batam melalui Puslitabmas. Adapun fokus dan scope publikasi kegiatan pengabdian melalui Jurnal Keker Wisata ini adalah Bansos, Sosialisasi, Pembinaan, Pelatihan, dan Pendampingan. Jurnal ini waktu terbitan dua kali dalam setahun yaitu pada bulan Januari dan Juli. Semua artikel pengabdian yang masuk melalui OJS Jurnal Kekeran ini akan diproses oleh reviewer yang telah ditatapkan Puslitabmas sebagai bagian dari Dewan Redaksi Jurnal Keker Wisata

Sapta Pesona began to be used and campaigned as a condition that must be realized in every tourist destination as well as natural, cultural, man-made and speciаl interests. Sаptа Pesonа is expected to creаte а comfortаble visitsto creаte а good impression for every tourist who comes. One of the destinаtion thаt is closely relаted to the community is а tourist villаge. In the tourist villаge, the аpplicаtion of the concept of tourism аwаreness аnd Sаptа Pesonа becomes аn importаnt thing in the bаse of its development to be аble to encourаge public аwаreness аs а good host. In аddition, the аpplicаtion of Sаptа Pesonа will аttrаct tourists to visit the plаce so it will rаise the community’s postion аs the recipient of mаximum beneficiаries from the effort.

At this time the culinary business in Indonesia is increasingly in demand. At present the need for food and beverage is no longer a mere basic need that must be met, but has become a trend among the people. Many think that a prospect business today is the culinary business. So do not be surprised if the growth of the culinary industry in Indonesia is expected to grow and this is certainly an attractive opportunity for culinary business entrepreneurs. School is a place of education that is commonly used by everyone. At this time schools not only provide services in the form of education, but also compete to provide more services than other schools. Abstract

The lack of public knowledge about medicinal plants and the properties of medicinal plants to increase body resistance or immunity. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to educate the public in the form of types of medicinal plants, their properties and how to use/process them appropriately based on an evidence-based scientific approach. The approach method used in community service activities is training in making herbal drinks for the community to increase the body's immunity with herbal drinks. The location of this extension activity was carried out in Mencirim Village, South Binjai District, Binjai City as a partner. During the one week training on making herbal drinks, the people of Mencirim Village were very enthusiastic and could even spend 40-50 bottles of herbal drinks every day.

Abstract

This article includes research findings exploring how vocational education institutions should play their best role in preparing graduates for the world of work. The aim of this study is to provide an element for vocational education to meet the growing demand. This research uses the literature review method by deepening the literature and previous research results. The research aims to answer two questions, namely what is the current status of vocational training and what needs to be done to improve the quality of vocational training, especially in the face of advances in science and technology in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. . The conclusion of this study is that there are still things that can be improved such as increasing the capacity of professional teachers, increasing synergy and pentahelix collaboration, revitalizing professional education with more experts. educational machinery, rebranding through direct research to industry and comparative in more advanced educational institutions both at home and abroad, while adding personality to students. Therefore, it is hoped that vocational education can participate in real efforts to implement government programs aimed at advancing Indonesia by preparing superior human resources.

Abstract

Popular drinks such as coffee, tea, Boba drinks, and several other trending drinks are being loved in Indonesia. Cafes with attractive packaging selling various types of drinks can be easily found in big cities. One drink that is a favorite of many people is the kombucha mocktail. A kombucha mocktail is a drink made from kombucha, which is a fermented drink made from fermented sweet tea using mushroom cultivation. In Indonesia, kombucha mocktail drinks are increasingly popular with many variations of flavors and attractive packaging. This drink is not only refreshing, but also contains probiotics and enzymes that are beneficial for digestion. SMA is the last level of education before students continue on to college or enter the world of work. One of the well-known high schools in Batam City is SMAK Yos Sudarso which has quite a large number of students. The Batam Tourism Polytechnic has the opportunity to provide education and training to students there regarding kombucha mocktail drinks. They will be given knowledge about this drink, and then trained in making variations of kombucha mocktail drinks with an attractive appearance.

We, the academic community from Batam Tourism Polytechnic, do our service because English Travel Service Training is very much needed and useful for those who want to enter the world of work, so all students, especially those majoring in tourism, must take advantage of this training. Abstract

The community service team carries out outreach and training activities because it is beneficial for Vitka Holding employees and re-sharpens their abilities, especially in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation. This activity was carried out in collaboration with lecturers and leaders of Vitka Holding to ensure the event remained strong and on target. This service is provided by conducting socialization and training in the Batam Tourism Polytechnic's Natuna room on Friday, November 3 2023. It is hoped that by participating in this activity, employees can better understand the importance of cleanliness and proper equipment for every incident they face, and then apply this knowledge. in everyday life. Increasing cleanliness around Vitka Holding will certainly be beneficial for the foundation. This socialization and training action is a form of love carried out to improve the competence of others. This outreach and training can help staff gain an understanding of appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment for the public areas where they work. This practice is also in line with the objectives of PkM which aims to provide reciprocity to the community. This training was carried out in collaboration with the teaching team and leaders of Vitka Holding. This is intended so that project participants, in particular, gain good principles and learning through this exercise.

Abstract

We servants carry out Social Service activities because this activity is very beneficial both for students in growing their social spirit and concern, as well as having the benefit of easing the burden on the children sheltered by the orphanage. This activity was carried out in collaboration between students and lecturers so that the event was more focused and on target. This service was carried out by visiting the intended orphanage, namely the Uswatun Hasanah Orphanage which is located in Sagulung District, Batam City. The Uswatun Hasanah Orphanage fulfills the needs of the children it cares for, from food to school. The Batam City orphanage is open to donations from donors and residents. Initially, the economy at this orphanage was sufficient because there were donors who helped. However, when the pandemic came, the aid funds from donors decreased. This is not proportional to the number of children in the orphanage. Social service activities are acts of kindness done for the benefit of others. This social service activity can develop brotherhood between individuals and foster a sense of kinship and kinship. This activity is also in line with PkM's vision of giving back to the community. This activity was held to coincide with the holy month of Ramadan so that it was combined with an iftar together. Through this activity it is hoped that both students, lecturers and orphanage children can take positive values ​​and wisdom from this activity.

The technical assistance activity for writing articles Homebase Lecturer Service and Research at the Tarbiyah Hidayatullah Batam Kepulauan Riau (STIT. Hidayatullah Batam Kepulauan Riau) College of Science is a collaborative service activity between the Batam Tourism Polytechnic and STIT. Hidayatullah Batam Kepulauan Riau. The target achievement of this activity is to be able to create a means of publishing scientific papers from the results of OJS-based research and service. This journal uses the V.3.3 type of PKP. So far STIT. Hidayatullah Batam Kepulauan Riau itself has had a journal to publish the results of research and dedication of lecturers and students in print and online form since 2022. Where the means of publication in mid-2022 are Tadribuna: Journal of Islamic Education Management and Ta'diban: Journal of Islamic Education. Both of these journals focus publications on research results. In this activity, the servant collaborated between the STIT. Hidayatullah Batam Kepulauan Riau institution and the Batam Tourism Polytechnic, the method of community service activities was carried out face to face and Virtual meetings using a live meeting-based information system to accelerate finding solutions and priority scale OJS-based journal publications at STIT. The method approach used is lectures, role play and demonstrative as well as direct practice in live meetings using zoom meetings that have been scheduled regularly and in a structured manner. The results obtained are participants are able to register at OJS as writers, can submit articles, then become part of the editorial board and can play a role in the regular and measurable OJS management process before the articles are published until the articles will be published by OJS. The limitations of long distances, time and instruments used during mentoring activities for community service activities can be minimized with the support of internet access technology that is quite good, the enthusiasm of the activity participants and a family atmosphere to jointly advance STIT. Abstract

Pelatihan Sequence of Service di Momo Cafe, Harbour Bay Batam, yang diadakan oleh dosen Program Studi Kuliner dan Tata Hidangan, merupakan upaya untuk memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam mengenai tata cara pelayanan restoran kepada masyarakat setempat. Peserta pelatihan, yang beragam latar belakang dan usianya, diberikan peluang untuk memahami proses lengkap dari penerimaan pesanan hingga interaksi dengan pelanggan dengan baik dan profesional. Materi pelatihan disampaikan melalui berbagai metode, mulai dari teori hingga praktik langsung di lingkungan restoran, sehingga peserta dapat mengembangkan keterampilan yang dapat meningkatkan peluang kerja mereka di sektor kuliner. Kerjasama yang erat dengan Momo Cafe sebagai tempat pelaksanaan pelatihan menjadi pilar keberhasilan kegiatan ini. Dengan dukungan dari restoran ini, para peserta dapat mengaplikasikan pengetahuan yang mereka peroleh secara langsung dalam situasi nyata. Hasil yang diharapkan dari pelatihan ini adalah peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam melayani pelanggan secara profesional, yang pada gilirannya akan memberikan dampak positif pada perkembangan industri makanan dan minuman di wilayah tersebut serta memberikan peluang yang lebih baik bagi peserta untuk berkembang dalam industri ini.
