Jurnal Keker Wisata ini wadah publikasi yang fokus pada semua kegiaatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membina dosen dan mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan kemampuan, keterampilan, dan kemandirian dalam melaksanakan pengabdian pada masyarakat serta mempublikasikan dengan laporan kegiatan. Setiap laporan kegiatan pengabdian ini akan memaparkan hal-hal yang bersifat solutif bagi masyakata dan dapat di contoh oleh pengabdi lainnya. Skema kegitan dapat dilaksanakan secara kelompok yang terdiri dari dosen dan mahasiswa serta secara mandiri maupun di organisasi oleh Politeknik Pariwisata Batam melalui Puslitabmas. Adapun fokus dan scope publikasi kegiatan pengabdian melalui Jurnal Keker Wisata ini adalah Bansos, Sosialisasi, Pembinaan, Pelatihan, dan Pendampingan. Jurnal ini waktu terbitan dua kali dalam setahun yaitu pada bulan Januari dan Juli. Semua artikel pengabdian yang masuk melalui OJS Jurnal Kekeran ini akan diproses oleh reviewer yang telah ditatapkan Puslitabmas sebagai bagian dari Dewan Redaksi Jurnal Keker Wisata

Abstract

This Social Community is carried out to enable lecturers and students together with the community to find the best solutions that can answer the problems experienced by the community, especially in the use of social media as a marketing tool for tourism activities which can be part of the driving force for improving the economy of Lance Island residents. This PKM activity has inspired the Lance community that Lance Island has its own attraction to be marketed using residents' social media in tourism development as part of an opportunity to improve the welfare of the Lance Island community. From this PKM activity, an understanding of the important thing that the tourism area must have networks and upgrade its ability to see tourism opportunities that are of interest will be produced while still prioritizing the cultural wisdom that exists on Lance Island. Abstract

Abstract

Mangrove Pandang Tak Jemu in Kampung Tua Bakau Serip is a unique and interesting ecotourism destination. Considering the importance of the mangrove tree ecosystem and its potential as a tourist attraction, an effective marketing strategy is needed. One of the most effective and efficient ways to promote this destination is through social media. This article resulting from community service will explain how social media can be used as a very effective tool to market the Mangrove Pandang Tak Jemu in Kampung Tua Bakau Serip. Choosing the right media and the right marketing strategy, social media can increase visibility thereby attracting more visitors, and ultimately support the mangrove forest environment through sustainable tourism. Optimal use of social media can help Mangrove Pandang Tak Jemu in Kampung Tua Bakau Serip become a widely known tourist destination, as well as provide education and increase awareness of the importance of the mangrove ecosystem as a lungs of the world

Abstract

The training on innovation in beverage product creation for students of SMK Maitreyawira in Batam City, Riau Islands Province, aims to enhance students' skills and knowledge in entrepreneurship, particularly in the beverage industry. This activity includes providing materials on the concept of innovation, techniques for making attractive and high-value beverages, and hands-on practice in making various types of beverages. Through this training, students are expected to develop their ability to innovate and create unique beverage products with market potential. The results of the training show an increase in students' understanding and skills in making beverage products, as well as growing interest in the field of entrepreneurship. It is hoped that this activity will positively impact students' readiness to enter the workforce and open new business opportunities in the future.

Abstract

This study examines the efforts in entrepreneurship development and social assistance conducted by the Almani Foundation in Batam City. The foundation's entrepreneurship development program includes skill training, business mentoring, and access to capital for local communities, especially youth and housewives. Additionally, the Almani Foundation provides various forms of social assistance such as free healthcare services, educational scholarships, and distribution of food packages to underprivileged families. The aim of these initiatives is to improve economic welfare, reduce poverty rates, and enhance the quality of life of the local community. The results of these programs show an increase in entrepreneurial skills, economic independence, and better access to basic services for the beneficiaries. With a sustainable approach and comprehensive support, the Almani Foundation significantly contributes to creating positive change in Batam City.

Abstract

Education regarding the consumption of safe, healthy and quality food and snacks in the school environment is important for the government and related stakeholders, especially the generation with an age range of 15-18 years who of course have a tendency to consume junk food, whether it is snacks in the environment. school (canteen). It is important to provide education regarding the provision of safe and healthy food and snacks in the school environment, where school children have a tendency to consume unhealthy food or junk food around them which is currently widespread in the city of Batam. Therefore, there is a need for communication between related parties, including government, academics, industry and society; to achieve the goal of safe, quality and nutritious food circulating in society. The aims and messages to be conveyed in this Community Service activity include that the role of education is not only to provide intellectual education, but can also pay attention to the health of school students, including the food they consume.

Abstract

Hasil survey status gizi indonesia (SSGI) tahun 2022, angka stunting di Kabupaten Langkat sebesar 18,32 persen, dimana pada tahun sebelumnya 31,61 persen pada tahun 2018. Keberhasilan Langkat menekan angka stunting tersebut, dikarenakan pencegahannya dilaksanakan secara terintegrasi dan bekerja sama serta melibatkan pihak terkait seperti Bappeda, Dinkes, Dinsos, PMD, Tokoh Mayarakat, Stake Holder dan Dunia Pendidikan. Semua instansi dan pihak terkait berkontribusi sesuai dengan tugas pokoknya. Pencegahan stunting dapat dilaksanakan dengan makanan yang sehat, vitamin dan kecukupan asupan gizi yang akan mudah dilaksanakan pada masyarakat yang berpendidikan dan berpenghasilan cukup. Bila pada masyarakat dengan ekonomi yang di bawah standar, maka pencegahan stunting diawali dari rumah dan keluarga itu sendiri. Penelitian diangkat sebagai bentuk Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat guna mensosialisasikan dan mengetahui pendapat masyarakat terhadap Inovasi Rumah Dan Lingkungan Yang Sehat Guna Menghindari Stunting Pada Masyarakat Desa Tanjung Mulia Kecamatan Hinai Kabupaten Langkat. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analisis dan sosialisasi serta aplikatif inovasi rumah sehat dan pemanfaatan lingkungan sekitarnya guna meningkatkan derajat ekonomi keluarga sehingga tercukupinya kebutuhan akan gizi keluarga, dengan mereduksi hasil wawancara serta hasil observasi lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa keberadaan rumah sehat dan lingkungan yang sehat serta pemanfaatan pekarangan sekitar rumah meningkatkan motivasi masyarakat untuk hidup sehat dan termotifikasi untuk berkebun guna mencukupi kebutuhan sayur dan buah yang akhirnya dapat meningkatkan kesehatan dan ekonomi keluarga secara terbatas

Abstract

Barista training is an important investment in the development of the coffee industry to improve the quality of their products and services. A good barista, apart from being able to mix delicious coffee, must be able to make customers feel satisfied with their service. That way, customers will be more loyal to your coffee shop. The more satisfied they are, the more often they will visit your coffee shop. That way, your coffee shop's turnover and income will increase. However, in general mixology is considered a comprehensive and in-depth study of the art and skill of mixing drinks. More specifically, Bar School states that mixologist refers to a profession involved in making cocktails, creating new drinks and techniques based on extensive knowledge of all existing ingredients as well as a deep understanding of the history of drinks. Meanwhile, the term bartender refers to individuals who are able to translate and realize these techniques and concepts practically. Usually a bartender plays a direct role at the bar, serving and interacting with customers, and if necessary, interpreting customer needs regarding the desired drink.

Sapta Pesona began to be used and campaigned as a condition that must be realized in every tourist destination as well as natural, cultural, man-made and speciаl interests. Sаptа Pesonа is expected to creаte а comfortаble visitsto creаte а good impression for every tourist who comes. One of the destinаtion thаt is closely relаted to the community is а tourist villаge. In the tourist villаge, the аpplicаtion of the concept of tourism аwаreness аnd Sаptа Pesonа becomes аn importаnt thing in the bаse of its development to be аble to encourаge public аwаreness аs а good host. Abstract

PKM Lecturer Activities About Barista Training is a program designed to provide participants with in-depth training in the skills and knowledge needed to become a skilled and professional barista. This training not only covers basic techniques in coffee making, but also advanced aspects such as latte art, knowledge of different types of coffee beans, and skills in serving coffee to customers to the highest standards. The main objectives of this training are. Mastery of Coffee Making Techniques: Teaches participants about basic techniques such as grinding coffee beans, choosing the right tools and machines, perfect espresso extraction, and milk steaming techniques. Latte Art Skills Development: Introduce and train participants in latte art which includes latte art, which is a technique for creating interesting patterns or images on the surface of coffee with milk. Knowledge about Coffee Beans: Educate participants about various types of coffee beans, processing processes, and how to choose the right beans to produce coffee with the best taste and aroma. Professional Customer Service: Prepares participants to be able to provide friendly and professional customer service, including how to communicate with customers and manage their expectations. Compliance with Hygiene and Safety Standards: Ensure that participants understand and implement high standards of cleanliness and safety in their daily operations, including sanitation of equipment and work areas. Barista training is usually held in a variety of formats, ranging from intensive workshops to more structured courses of varying duration. This program is aimed at individuals interested in starting a career as a professional barista, cafe owner, or anyone looking to improve their skills in the fast-growing coffee industry.
