Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan cara pengimplementasian metode Role Playing melalui strategi Cooperative Learning untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran sosiologi kelas X IPS 1 di SMAN 1 Jalaksana. Berdasarkan dari hasil observasi awal terhadap siswa kelas X IPS 1 menunjukkan bahwa sebagian siswa jenuh dengan gaya pembelajaran sebelumya, karena pembelajaran sosiologi biasanya menggunakan metode ceramah. Proses pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunkana metode observasi dan dokumentasi yang langsung dilaksanakan pada saat pembelajaran berlangsung. Dari hasil penelitian dalam tabel motivasi belajar menunjukkan adanya peningkatan motivasi belajar sosiologi pada siswa kelas X IPS 1. Pada awal pra siklus peneliti mendapatkan nilai motivasi belajar siswa rata-rata 1,78, siklus I dengan rata-rata 2,66, dan siklus II rata-rata 3,77. Sedangkan dari hasil belajar siswa menunjukan adanya peningkatan pula, pada pra siklus tidak ada siswa yang tuntas, dan meningkat pada pada siklus I siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 24 siswa, lalu meningkat pada siklus II sebanyak 33 siswa yang tuntas. Indikator keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa mencapai nilai KKM ≥75 sebanyak 75% artinya hasil dalam Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini telah berhasil dan sudah mencapai target.

Abstract

The problem-based learning model as a student description writing skill in the 21st Century requires students to keep up with the times in the 4.0 revolution era. This study aims to determine 1). Problem Based Learning learning model as a student description writing skills in the 21st Century 2). How to apply the Problem Based Learning learning model as a student description writing skill in the 21st Century. This research is a systematic literature study, the research steps are to find articles that match two keywords, meet the inclusion inclusion criteria, pass the quality assessment consisting of an assessment of research questions, methodology, and research results. The results showed that by implementing the writing process in learning, the learning steps also used the writing process, including prewriting, drafting, revising, editing, and publishing. Learning Indonesian about writing descriptive texts for fictional characters, students learn new things, open students' knowledge that writing is not just a product, but writing also has processes including prewriting (prewriting), writing (drafting), revision (revising), editing ( editing), and publication (publishing).

Abstract

Pantun writing skills are needed to train students' literary writing skills from an early age. Pantun writing skills require good vocabulary processing, especially when making sampiran and the content must pay attention to rhyme (sound equations). PjBL is one of the innovative learning models, where learning is more student-centered, using projects as learning media.. Several studies have shown that PjBL can improve the poetry writing skills of elementary school students. The method of writing this scientific paper is to use a literature study (library research). The results of the research are expected to provide an overview to develop further research on the project based learning model and be integrated into other learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of Web-based learning media in improving student learning outcomes in class IV at SDN No. 178491 Pohan Door, Toba Samosir Regency. Pre-research results show that teachers rarely use media or materials that can motivate students. This contradicts the 2013 Curriculum, which emphasizes using electronic media to prevent boredom during learning. The research was conducted for three months, from November 2022 to January 2023, with 16 fourth-grade students as research subjects. This study uses classroom action research carried out in two cycles. Qualitative data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis by comparing cycles I and II. In contrast, quantitative data on student learning outcomes were analyzed using descriptive comparative analysis by comparing initial test scores, cycles I and II. The results showed that using Web-based learning media significantly increased the learning outcomes of fourth -grade students at SDN No. 178491 Pohan Door, Toba Samosir Regency. The average student learning outcomes increased from 62.50 at the beginning of the study to 73.13 at the end of cycle I and increased again to 85.63 at the end of cycle II. The initial completeness level of 12.50% increased to 50% at the end of cycle I and again to 100% at the end of cycle II. The results of the observer's assessment showed that student activity and teacher performance also increased from cycle I to cycle II. In conclusion, the application of Web-based learning media can positively impact student learning outcomes, increasing the level of completeness, student activity, and teacher performance. Therefore, it is suggested that teachers use Web-based learning media in the learning process to motivate and improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract should be written briefly and clearly. Abstract must contain 150-250 words. The contents of the Abstract are written in one paragraph without including quotes, pictures, or tables. The abstract contains a brief description of the problem, solution, research objectives, methods used, instruments, research subjects (who, where, how many), research resu lts, and conclusions. The emphasis on writing abstracts is mainly on research results and conclusions. Keywords need to be included to describe the area of the problem being studied and the main terms that underlie the implementation of the research. In this elementary school students are required to master all fields of study, how to solve problems. Mathematics is a subject that has an important role in everyday life. The method in this journal is a qualitative method and literature study. The results of the findings are related to the understanding of the TGT method, as well as the steps that must be taken and the flexibility contained in this method in learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to identify, describe and analyze the results of segera studies related to dd application of the Snowball Throwing type of cooperative learning model to improve social sciences elementary school learning outcomes. The Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method was used in this study, by searching the DOAJ, Scholar and Garuda databases from 2012 to 2022. Data was collected by selecting several studies based on several inclusion criteria and a total of 20 qualified articles were obtained. This study Classifies qualified primary studies based on categories such as Educational level, research method and the effectiveness of applying the Snowball Throwing type cooperative learning model to improve social studies learning outcomes. The result is that as whole, the application of the Snowball Throwing type of cooperative learning model cantik improve social studies learning outcomes and have a positive impact on learning carried out, especially studies at the elementary level. In addition, the method often used by researchers is the quantitative method which can see how the effectiveness of learning with the use of the Snowball Throwing type cooperative learning model has on student social studies learning outcomes, with the research design that is widely used namely Classroom action research.

Abstract

This research describes the implementation of the school literacy movement at SDN 88 Pekanbaru. The type of research chosen is a qualitative approach, the instruments used are interview guidelines and observation guidelines. The results showed that the implementation of the school literacy movement (GLS) at SDN 88 Pekanbaru had not been carried out optimally. Literacy is a language skill possessed by a person in communicating reading, spe aking, listening and writing, one of the most common supports for literacy is the library, schools can implement a library visit program. The library visit program is an organized activity that is applied to students regularly every week with different classes to carry out literacy activities. Qualitative research is research that is descriptive in nature and tends to use analysis. Process and meaning (subject perspective) are emphasized in qualitative research. The theoretical basis is used as a guide so that the research focus is in accordance with the facts in the field. In addition, this theoretical basis is also useful for providing an overview of the research setting and as material for discussing research results.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of variation in the learning process in the observed schools so that impact on student participation and low learning outcomes. The purpuso of this study was to investigate the effect of the Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) model by wordwall games on the learning outcomes of fourth grade student in the material of Gerak dan Gaya. The research method is experimental one group pretes-posttes. The sample is 38 student. The instrument used is s cognitive test based on Bloom’s Taxonomy. The results of the study based on statistical test stated that CTL model had an effect on student learning outcomes as evidenced by the significant defference between pretes and posttest scores after applying the model.

Abstract

The Independent Curriculum gives teachers the freedom to choose material but focuses on strengthening the ability to use English in six language skills, namely listening, speaking, reading, viewing, writing, and presenting in an integrated manner, in various types of texts. The minimum learning outcomes for these six English skills refer to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment (CEFR) and equivalent to level B1. The material for giving sympathy and appreciation is one of the materials given in class 11 semester 3. Even though the context of giving sympathy and appreciation is a common thing that happens in everyday contexts, for students to express it in English is quite a high difficulty. This case study occurred in learning English in class 11 Software Engineering 2. 30 participants involved in this study. Only 3 students were able to make sentences expressing sympathy after being given instructions by the teacher, the rest experienced quite high difficulties and needed intensive guidance to be able to complete the task. The main obstacles are lack of vocabulary, lack of grammatical knowledge and low motivation in learning English.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat literasi membaca teks nonfiksi yang terkait pada kemampuan literasi membaca dalam menceritakan ulang Kembali teks nonfiksi, mendapatkan informasi melalui teks nonfiksi dan memahami isi dari cerita biografi teks nonfiksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 3 Lendang Nangka. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas kelas 5A yang berjumlah 22 orang siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif berupa kata-kata tertulis maupun lisan dari orang yang diamati dan berupa angka untuk mengetahui kemampuan literasi membaca teks nonfiksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah berupa deskriptif melalui observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan peneliti berupa reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beberapa siswa kelas 5A SD Negeri 3 Lendang Nangka bahwa beberapa siswa mengetahui teks nonfiksi dan Sebagian siswa memahami cerita teks nonfiksi dikarenakan Sebagian minat siswa kurang dalam membaca.
