Abstract

The scientific writing course at MA An Nawawiyah Majalengka is a strategic initiative to improve scientific literacy skills and foster an academic culture within the school environment. This course involved 40 twelfth-grade students and was implemented through the provision of materials, practice writing scientific article titles, and evaluation of student work. The materials provided covered the writing process from idea to publication, scientific writing formats, and an introduction to qualitative and quantitative research methods. Evaluation results showed a significant increase in students' ability to formulate relevant and measurable scientific titles, from 41% before the course to 82% afterward with pre-test and post-test. This result demonstrates the effectiveness of practice-based and reflection-based learning methods in developing students' critical, systematic, and creative thinking skills. This course contributes to improving the quality of education and fostering students' scientific aptitude within the school context. Pelatihan penulisan karya tulis ilmiah di MA An Nawawiyah Majalengka merupakan upaya strategis dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi ilmiah dan menumbuhkan budaya akademik di lingkungan sekolah. Pelatihan ini melibatkan 40 siswa kelas XII dan dilaksanakan melalui tahapan penyampaian materi, praktik penyusunan judul karya tulis ilmiah, serta evaluasi hasil kerja siswa. Materi yang diberikan mencakup proses penulisan dari ide hingga publikasi, format penulisan ilmiah, serta pengenalan metode penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan siswa merumuskan judul ilmiah yang relevan dan terukur, dari 41% sebelum pelatihan menjadi 82% setelah kegiatan melalui pre-test dan post-test. Capaian ini menunjukkan efektivitas metode pembelajaran berbasis praktik dan refleksi dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, sistematis, dan kreatif siswa madrasah. Pelatihan ini berkontribusi pada peningkatan kualitas pendidikan dan pembentukan karakter ilmiah peserta didik di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

The low level of community participation in health and environmental activities, such as Mosquito Nest Eradication (PSN), Community-Based Total Sanitation (STBM), utilization of Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA), waste sorting, and Integrated Health Posts (Posyandu), indicates the limited communication skills of community-level cadres. This community service activity aims to improve the public speaking skills of the Great Surabaya Cadres (KSH) in Gunung Anyar Tambak Village as an effort to encourage community participation. The implementation of the activity was carried out through participatory training that included material delivery, interactive discussions, simulations, and practice-based evaluations. The results of the activity showed an increase in the cadres' ability to convey messages clearly, structured, and persuasively, which has an impact on increasing community awareness and participation in health and environmental programs in the local area. This activity contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially Goals 3, 6, 11, and 17, by strengthening the role of cadres as agents of change at the community level. Kader Surabaya Hebat (KSH) memiliki peran strategis sebagai penggerak masyarakat dalam mendukung program kesehatan dan lingkungan berbasis komunitas. Namun, rendahnya partisipasi masyarakat dalam kegiatan Pemberantasan Sarang Nyamuk (PSN), Sanitasi Total Berbasis Masyarakat (STBM), Survey Tanaman Obat Keluarga (TOGA), pemilahan sampah, dan Posyandu menunjukkan perlunya penguatan kapasitas komunikasi kader. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan public speaking KSH Kelurahan Gunung Anyar Tambak melalui pelatihan yang dirancang secara partisipatif dan kontekstual. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi penyampaian materi, diskusi, simulasi, dan evaluasi berbasis praktik lapangan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan kepercayaan diri kader dalam menyampaikan pesan secara jelas, terstruktur, dan persuasif, yang berdampak pada meningkatnya kesadaran dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam program kesehatan dan lingkungan. Kebaruan kegiatan terletak pada pemanfaatan public speaking sebagai instrumen strategis pemberdayaan sosial, bukan sekadar keterampilan komunikasi individual. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs), khususnya Tujuan 3, 6, 11, dan 17, melalui penguatan peran kader sebagai agen perubahan di tingkat komunitas.

Abstract

Community empowerment through the utilization of local passion fruit potential aims to improve environmental quality and economic capacity to develop it into a tourist attraction. This Thematic Student Community Service (KKN Tematik) program in Kwangsan Village was implemented to optimize passion fruit potential, from cultivation techniques to post-harvest processing. The execution method utilized a participatory approach involving students, village officials, community elements, educational institutions, and youth organizations. The implemented programs included a physical initiative to arrange the passion fruit area by installing tellis frames to improve plant growth. Meanwhile, non-physical programs comprised socialization on product diversification (such as passion fruit syrup), eco-print education for MI Darun Najah students, and socialization on social media utilization and juvenile delinquency prevention for the RW 04 Youth Organization (Karang Taruna). Social activities like morning aerobics and community mutual cooperation (gotong royong) were also conducted. The results showed an escalation in community awareness and active participation in environmental greening and village potential optimization. Socialization on cultivation, product processing, and digital marketing strategies successfully expanded residents' insights into local potential-based MSME opportunities. Furthermore, educational and social programs contributed positively to instilling creativity, ecological awareness, and digital literacy in children and youth. Overall, this program delivered a multidimensional impact in transforming Kwangsan Village into "Kampung Markisa" (Passion Fruit Village) as a sustainable tourism destination. Pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui potensi lokal tanaman markisa bertujuan meningkatkan kualitas lingkungan dan kapasitas ekonomi agar dapat dikembangkan menjadi daya tarik wisata. Kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Tematik di Desa Kwangsan ini dilaksanakan untuk mengoptimalkan potensi markisa dari aspek budidaya hingga pascapanen. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif yang melibatkan mahasiswa, perangkat desa, elemen masyarakat, lembaga pendidikan, dan organisasi pemuda. Program yang diimplementasikan meliputi program fisik berupa penataan kawasan melalui pemasangan kerangka rambatan tanaman. Sementara itu, program nonfisik mencakup sosialisasi diversifikasi produk (sirup markisa), edukasi ecoprint bagi siswa MI Darun Najah, serta sosialisasi media sosial dan pencegahan kenakalan remaja bagi Karang Taruna RW 04. Aktivitas sosial seperti senam pagi dan gotong royong juga turut dilaksanakan. Hasil KKN Tematik menunjukkan adanya eskalasi kesadaran dan partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam pengelolaan tata hijau lingkungan. Sosialisasi budidaya, pengolahan produk, dan pemasaran digital berhasil memperluas wawasan warga mengenai peluang UMKM berbasis potensi lokal. Selain itu, program edukatif dan sosial berkontribusi positif dalam menanamkan nilai kreativitas, kepedulian ekologis, serta literasi digital pada anak dan remaja. Secara keseluruhan, program ini memberikan dampak multidimensional dalam mengonversi Desa Kwangsan menjadi "Kampung Markisa" sebagai destinasi wisata berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The shift toward digital payments via e-wallets, QRIS, marketplaces, and app-based financial services has made transactions more convenient for urban residents, but it has also increased the risk of online fraud. This community service initiative aims to improve the digital financial literacy of residents in RT 02 RW 04, Nginden Jangkungan Village, Sukolilo Subdistrict, Surabaya, particularly in recognizing, avoiding, and reporting digital transaction-based fraud schemes. The program was implemented using a community-based participatory education approach through needs assessment, face-to-face literacy sessions, case discussions, fraud scheme simulations, and one-month online mentoring. Initial findings indicate that residents actively use digital services but have a limited understanding of transaction security, including OTP/PIN protection, two-step verification, QRIS/e-wallet verification, fake links, and reporting procedures. Common scams identified include fake prizes, digital invitation links, fictitious online shopping, illegal online loans, love scams, and fake accounts. Evaluation results show a 33.3% increase in knowledge, a 36.0% improvement in the ability to recognize scams and report them, and a 42.2% increase in understanding of the safe use of QRIS/e-wallets. This program also established an initial consultation mechanism through neighborhood units (RTs) as a community-based protection effort. Transformasi pembayaran digital melalui e-wallet, QRIS, marketplace, dan layanan keuangan berbasis aplikasi meningkatkan kemudahan transaksi masyarakat urban, tetapi juga memperbesar risiko penipuan online. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan literasi keuangan digital warga RT 02 RW 04 Kelurahan Nginden Jangkungan, Kecamatan Sukolilo, Surabaya, khususnya dalam mengenali, menghindari, dan melaporkan modus penipuan berbasis transaksi digital. Program dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan edukasi partisipatif berbasis komunitas melalui identifikasi kebutuhan, literasi tatap muka, diskusi kasus, simulasi modus penipuan, dan pendampingan daring selama satu bulan. Temuan awal menunjukkan warga aktif menggunakan layanan digital, tetapi masih lemah dalam memahami keamanan transaksi, seperti perlindungan OTP/PIN, verifikasi dua langkah, pengecekan QRIS/e-wallet, tautan palsu, dan prosedur pelaporan. Modus yang banyak ditemukan meliputi hadiah palsu, tautan undangan digital, belanja online fiktif, pinjaman online ilegal, love scam, dan akun palsu. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan sebesar 33,3%, kemampuan mengenali modus dan pelaporan sebesar 36,0%, serta pemahaman penggunaan QRIS/e-wallet secara aman sebesar 42,2%. Program ini juga membentuk mekanisme konsultasi awal melalui perangkat RT sebagai upaya perlindungan berbasis komunitas.

Abstract

Community-based village tourism development is a crucial strategy for promoting sustainable local economic independence. Tembong Hamlet, Plintahan Village, Pasuruan Regency, boasts natural tourism potential in Sumber Nyamplung, but management faces obstacles like limited human resource capacity, suboptimal institutional arrangements, and a lack of promotional strategies. This community service activity aims to increase the community's capacity to manage tourism through a community-based tourism (CBT)-based capacity-building approach. The method used is Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), including asset identification, participatory planning, program implementation, and evaluation. The results indicate increased community participation through collective activities like cooperation (gotong royong), contributing to social capital formation and a sense of ownership. Training and mentoring successfully increased community capacity in tourism management and strengthened the role of local institutions through the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis). Furthermore, using social media as a promotional tool demonstrates adaptation to digital technology, thereby increasing destination visibility. Overall, integrating capacity building and CBT proves effective in promoting sustainable village tourism development. This program impacts social and institutional aspects while opening opportunities for strengthening the local economy. Therefore, this model serves as an alternative approach for developing community-based tourism villages in similar regions. Pengembangan desa wisata berbasis masyarakat merupakan strategi penting untuk mendorong kemandirian ekonomi lokal berkelanjutan. Dusun Tembong, Desa Plintahan, Kabupaten Pasuruan memiliki potensi wisata alam Sumber Nyamplung, namun pengelolaannya terkendala keterbatasan SDM, kelembagaan yang belum optimal, dan minimnya promosi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat dalam mengelola wisata melalui pendekatan capacity building berbasis Community-Based Tourism (CBT). Metode yang digunakan adalah Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) melalui tahapan identifikasi aset, perencanaan partisipatif, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan keberhasilan utilisasi aset fisik berupa kawasan mata air Sumber Nyamplung dan aset manusia melalui penguatan kapasitas Pokdarwis serta pemuda setempat. Pemanfaatan aset tersebut terbukti memicu peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat melalui gotong royong, yang berkontribusi pada pembentukan modal sosial dan rasa memiliki. Pelatihan dan pendampingan berhasil meningkatkan kapasitas pengelolaan wisata serta memperkuat peran kelembagaan lokal. Selain itu, pemanfaatan media sosial sebagai sarana promosi menunjukkan adaptasi teknologi digital yang meningkatkan visibilitas destinasi. Secara keseluruhan, integrasi capacity building dan CBT efektif mendorong pengembangan desa wisata berkelanjutan, berdampak pada aspek sosial-kelembagaan, serta membuka peluang penguatan ekonomi lokal. Model ini dapat menjadi alternatif pendekatan di wilayah dengan karakteristik serupa.

Abstract

The baby’s growth phase over 6 months of age needs to be supplemented with nutritious complementary foods for toddlers. Proper nutritional intake for toddlers is key to preventing nutritional problems such as stunting. Limited menu variety and access to practical recipes are often obstacles for mothers. Through this training activity, the community services team sought to increase knowledge and skills in preparing nutritious food for toddlers by utilizing the Cookpad digital application. The use of this application also encourages innovation in menus based on locally sourced foods easily accessible as a source of inspiration and a medium for sharing complementary feeding recipes. This community service activity was carried out in Jaddih Village, Socah District, Bangkalan Regency. This training activity adopts a combination of interactive discussions and hands-on practice in creating accounts and searching for recipes using the Cookpad application. This training proved to be effective in increasing the knowledge and skills of mothers and cadres in creating innovative, nutritionally balanced complementary foods from local foods. Participants were not only passive users viewing available recipe options but could also actively add recipes, discuss them online, and upload the results of their recipe innovations accompanied by photos of the dishes they had prepared. The use of the Cookpad application successfully broadened participants' perspectives on the vast array of recipe resources available. It provides the process of preparing complementary foods (MPASI) more varied and memorable. Bayi membutuhkan asupan Makanan Pendamping ASI (MPASI) yang dimulai sejak usia 6 hingga 24 bulan. Asupan makanan bergizi yang tepat merupakan kunci dalam pencegahan masalah gizi seperti stunting. Minimnya pengetahuan tentang variasi menu dan terbatasnya akses terhadap panduan maupun buku resep praktis sering menjadi kendala bagi ibu. Melalui kegiatan pelatihan ini, tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupaya untuk meningkatkan wawasan dan keterampilan pengolahan makanan bergizi untuk bayi dengan pemanfaatan aplikasi digital Cookpad. Penggunaan aplikasi ini juga mendorong inovasi menu berbasis pangan lokal yang mudah diakses sebagai sumber inspirasi dan media berbagi resep MPASI. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Desa Jaddih Kecamatan Socah Kabupaten Bangkalan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kombinasi antara diskusi interaktif dan praktik langsung pembuatan akun serta penelusuran resep menggunakan aplikasi Cookpad. Pelatihan ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu serta kader dalam membuat inovasi MPASI yang bergizi seimbang dari pangan lokal. Peserta tidak hanya menjadi pengguna pasif untuk melihat pilihan resep yang tersedia, tetapi juga dapat secara aktif menambahkan, berdiskusi secara daring serta mengunggah hasil inovasi resep yang telah dipraktikkan dengan membubuhi gambar hasil masakan. Pemanfaatan aplikasi Cookpad berhasil membuka wawasan peserta terhadap sumber daya resep yang luas, menjadikan proses persiapan MPASI lebih variatif dan berkesan.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out to strengthen the digital communication and branding capacity of Papoh Tourism Village, Sukosewu Village, Gandusari District, Blitar Regency. The partners' main problems included the sub-optimal destination communication strategy, limited social media management skills, lack of understanding in tourism storytelling, and the unavailability of sustainable promotional communication guidelines. The activity method used a participatory approach through needs analysis, training, content production practices, assistance in preparing content calendars, as well as monitoring and evaluation. The activity participants consisted of tourism village managers, Pokdarwis (Tourism Awareness Group), Karang Taruna (Youth Organization), and local MSME actors. The results of the activity showed that participants were able to identify the uniqueness of Papoh Tourism Village, formulate key destination messages, compile promotional narratives, and produce photo content, short videos, and social media captions based on local potential. The assistance also resulted in a digital communication strategy draft that can be used as a guide for managing tourism village promotions. This activity confirms that branding strengthening activities play an important role in increasing destination visibility, strengthening the tourism village image, and supporting the economic empowerment of the local community. program sustainability requires management commitment, publication consistency, and periodic evaluation of digital audience responses. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan untuk memperkuat kapasitas komunikasi digital dan branding Desa Wisata Papoh, Desa Sukosewu, Kecamatan Gandusari, Kabupaten Blitar. Permasalahan utama mitra meliputi belum optimalnya strategi komunikasi destinasi, keterbatasan keterampilan pengelolaan media sosial, minimnya pemahaman storytelling wisata, dan belum tersedianya panduan komunikasi promosi yang berkelanjutan. Metode kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif melalui analisis kebutuhan, pelatihan, praktik produksi konten, pendampingan penyusunan kalender konten, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Peserta kegiatan terdiri atas pengelola desa wisata, Pokdarwis, Karang Taruna, dan pelaku UMKM lokal. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mampu mengidentifikasi keunikan Desa Wisata Papoh, merumuskan pesan kunci destinasi, menyusun narasi promosi, serta memproduksi konten foto, video singkat, dan caption media sosial berbasis potensi lokal. Pendampingan juga menghasilkan rancangan strategi komunikasi digital yang dapat digunakan sebagai panduan pengelolaan promosi desa wisata. Kegiatan ini menegaskan bahwa kegiatan penguatan branding berperan penting dalam meningkatkan visibilitas destinasi, memperkuat citra desa wisata, dan mendukung pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat lokal. Keberlanjutan program memerlukan komitmen pengelola, konsistensi publikasi, dan evaluasi berkala terhadap respons audiens digital.

Abstract

The contemporary media ecosystem rapidly shifts message production to algorithm-based platforms, generating economic value from digital content. However, this opportunity must be balanced with adequate marketing communication literacy among the younger generation, particularly high school students, to navigate emerging ethical and compliance challenges. Addressing this urgency, this Community Service (PKM) program aims to enhance digital marketing communication literacy and responsible monetization skills among students at Santa Maria High School in Cirebon. The intervention is designed as an interactive face-to-face workshop covering two main areas: (1) core concepts including integrated message planning, channel selection, and ethical compliance (sponsor disclosure, copyright, privacy); and (2) structured practice involving scriptwriting, content production, and monetization simulations (affiliate, platform advertising, and brand collaboration), utilizing Claude Sonnet 4.6 for publication ideation and optimization. The theoretical framework integrates Integrated Marketing Communications, Uses and Gratifications, and Diffusion of Innovations to ensure message consistency and readiness to adopt new digital features. Evaluation is conducted through pre-post-test questionnaires to assess improvements in knowledge, attitudes, and practical readiness. Program outputs include formal reports, national journal publications, prototype reports, and intellectual property rights. Ultimately, this initiative aligns with the RIP-PKM agenda to strengthen community communication quality and develop a talent-based creative economy that is ethical, effective, and measurable. Ekosistem media kontemporer bergerak cepat ke ranah digital, menempatkan produksi dan sirkulasi pesan pada platform berbasis algoritma, serta membuat nilai ekonomi tercipta dari konten yang diproduksi. Peluang ini juga harus diimbangi dengan kesiapan literasi komunikasi pemasaran di kalangan generasi muda, khususnya pelajar SMA. Adanya bentuk baru dari pemasaran digital juga menimbulkan kendala baru dalam hal isu etika dan kepatuhan. Di sinilah urgensi program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) untuk sekolah menengah. Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan meningkatkan literasi komunikasi pemasaran digital dan kapasitas keterampilan monetisasi yang bertanggung jawab pada siswa SMA Santa Maria Cirebon. Intervensi dirancang dalam bentuk workshop tatap muka, yang berisikan: (1) penguatan konsep inti—perencanaan pesan terpadu, pemilihan kanal, dan kepatuhan etika (disclosure sponsor, hak cipta, privasi); (2) praktik terstruktur—penyusunan naskah, produksi konten, serta simulasi alur monetisasi melalui tiga skema utama (afiliasi, iklan platform, dan kolaborasi merek) termasuk pemanfaatan alat berbasis AI untuk ide dan optimasi publikasi. Kerangka teoretis mengintegrasikan Integrated Marketing Communications guna memastikan konsistensi pesan, relevansi kebutuhan audiens, dan kesiapan adopsi fitur baru. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pra–pasca uji (kuesioner) untuk menilai peningkatan pengetahuan, sikap, dan kesiapan praktik. Luaran meliputi laporan, publikasi di jurnal nasional, laporan prototype, dan hak kekayaan intelektual berupa hak cipta. Program ini selaras dengan RIP-PKM pada agenda penguatan kualitas komunikasi masyarakat dan kontribusi pada pengembangan ekonomi kreatif berbasis talenta muda yang etis, efektif, dan terukur.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to strengthen faculty news and public relations information governance at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, through the development of a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) based on cross-program collaboration. The main issue faced by the partner was the absence of a standardized workflow for news submission, verification, editing, approval, and publication, causing information from study programs to remain scattered across internal WhatsApp groups, incomplete, and not fully represented on the faculty’s official media channels. This activity employed a qualitative-participatory approach through digital media inventory, observation of the existing publication workflow, benchmarking with seven faculties, interviews with faculty leaders and public relations managers, and a Focus Group Discussion with the Chair and Vice Chair of FISHMed. The activity resulted in two SOPs: one for news submissions from 15 study programs and another for activities directly covered by FISHMed. The SOPs were supported by a press release form, a standardized submission flow, role separation between website and social media teams, five news categories, and publication narratives linked to SDGs, IKU, and faculty branding. This activity demonstrates that a faculty news SOP can serve as a practical instrument to improve accountability, equitable news coverage, information service quality, and institutional reputation. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat tata kelola berita dan informasi kehumasan Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Hukum, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, melalui penyusunan Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) berbasis kolaborasi lintas program studi. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi mitra adalah belum terstandarnya alur pengajuan, verifikasi, penyuntingan, persetujuan, dan publikasi berita, sehingga informasi dari program studi sering tersebar melalui WhatsApp internal, belum lengkap, dan belum seluruhnya terpublikasi pada media resmi fakultas. Metode kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-partisipatif melalui inventarisasi media digital, observasi alur publikasi berjalan, benchmarking dengan tujuh fakultas, wawancara dengan pimpinan fakultas dan pengelola kehumasan, serta Focus Group Discussion dengan Ketua dan Wakil Ketua FISHMed. Hasil kegiatan menghasilkan dua SOP, yaitu SOP publikasi berita dari 15 program studi dan SOP publikasi kegiatan yang diliput langsung oleh FISHMed. SOP ini dilengkapi dengan formulir press release, alur pengajuan terstandar, pembagian peran website dan media sosial, lima kategori berita, serta penguatan narasi berbasis SDGs, IKU, dan branding fakultas. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa SOP berita fakultas dapat menjadi instrumen praktis untuk meningkatkan akuntabilitas, pemerataan coverage, kualitas layanan informasi, dan reputasi kelembagaan fakultas.

Abstract

This community-engagement programme aimed to strengthen the branding of Won.dis Chocolate, a local cocoa-processing MSME in Kalibawang, Kulon Progo, through visual communication assistance and responsible artificial intelligence (AI) use. Conducted by the Master’s Programme in Media and Communication at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta from 1 January to 1 May 2026, the programme employed Participatory Action Research, including participatory diagnosis, brand-identity co-design, visual and AI training, prototype production, limited implementation, and evaluation-reflection. The baseline audit identified six needs: inconsistent visual identity, predominantly informational messages, underdeveloped cocoa-farmer storytelling, absent reusable content templates, limited design human resources, and no human-curated AI workflow. The programme produced a brand message architecture, visual guidelines, digital media templates, four advertising prototypes, and the VISUAL-AI framework for content production. The findings show that AI supports idea exploration and production efficiency; however, claim verification, copyright review, brand consistency, local-identity representation, and final decisions remain human responsibilities. This article argues that strengthening local food MSME branding requires the integration of brand strategy, visual communication, evidence-based storytelling, and ethical AI governance. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memperkuat branding Won.dis Cokelat, UMKM pengolah kakao lokal di Kalibawang, Kulon Progo, melalui pendampingan komunikasi visual dan pemanfaatan kecerdasan artifisial (AI) secara bertanggung jawab. Kegiatan dilaksanakan oleh Program Studi Magister Media dan Komunikasi UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta pada 1 Januari–1 Mei 2026 dengan pendekatan Participatory Action Research yang mencakup diagnosis partisipatif, ko-desain identitas merek, pelatihan visual dan AI, produksi rancangan, implementasi terbatas, serta evaluasi-refleksi. Audit awal menemukan enam kebutuhan: identitas visual belum konsisten, pesan masih dominan informatif, storytelling petani kakao belum optimal, templat konten belum tersedia, sumber daya desain terbatas, dan alur kerja AI belum memiliki kurasi manusia. Program menghasilkan arsitektur pesan merek, pedoman visual, templat media digital, empat rancangan iklan, serta kerangka VISUAL-AI sebagai panduan produksi konten. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa AI membantu eksplorasi ide dan efisiensi produksi, tetapi verifikasi klaim, kepatuhan hak cipta, konsistensi merek, representasi identitas lokal, dan keputusan akhir tetap harus dilakukan manusia. Artikel ini menegaskan bahwa penguatan branding UMKM pangan lokal membutuhkan integrasi strategi merek, komunikasi visual, storytelling berbasis bukti, dan tata kelola AI yang etis.
