Abstract

Innovative work behavior is the key to the performance and existence of an organization. In the context of business organizations, organizational factors that are antecedents of innovative work behavior are far from stable. Therefore, it is still necessary to conduct further research with different organizations and respondents. This study will examine organizational factors in Indonesian universities, which consist of: 1) organizational climate for innovation, 2) reward, 3) organizational agility as moderating variables. By using purposive random sampling involving 265 lecturers from universities in the Jakarta area, Indonesia, the results indicate that only the organizational climate for innovation variable has a significant positive effect directly on the innovative work behavior of lecturers. Meanwhile, the reward variable only has a partial significant positive effect after being moderated by the organizational agility variable. This phenomenon is a novelty in this study that rewards, which are believed to be able to change behavior as mentioned in social exchange theory so far, have experienced a shift in perceptions from lecturer respondents, where rewards are no longer motivating without including agility factors in their management. Organizational agility is a new term that is gaining popularity in strategic management which is defined as an agility that reflects flexibility, speed, accuracy, efficiency and innovation. This study has theoretical contributions and practical implications for higher education management and provides discussion and recommendations for future research.

Abstract

The important role of banks as financial institutions tasked with collecting and distributing funds in the form of loans to the public aims at economic growth and the improvement of social welfare. In the big bank war, public trust is needed to save money in banks whose health is the top priority. To examine the health of your bank, you can use the Nonprofit Lending Ratio (NPL) analysis. The following applies. The lower the bad debt amount, the lower the credit risk borne by the bank and the better the financial performance of the bank. The purpose of this study is to empirically prove how the level of credit risk as measured by NPL ratio reduces or increases the financial performance of Bank Indonesia as measured by ROA and ROE. The study design is a descriptive quantitative approach. The study population includes all banking companies listed on the IDX for the period 2018-2021. The study sample used a sampling technique using a targeted sampling technique with a sample of 176 observations. This study uses panel data regression starting with model testing, classical assumption testing, and statistical testing. Statistical t-test results show that high bank credit risk can affect financial performance. Our contribution is for Management can work to raise the bank's health level by increasing third party funds (DPK), which will encourage clients to maintain their money in the institution, so raising the bank's health level to a healthy condition. Banks employ a variety of techniques, such as developing new innovations to boost customer security while also paying close attention to the issue of customer accessibility to raise customer pleasure, which in turn has an impact on boosting customer loyalty.

Abstract

Nowadays, many tech companies are on a downward trend. This can be referred to as a tech bubble burst. This makes it very difficult for companies, especially those in the e-commerce industry, financially. These companies are constantly looking for ways to make efficiencies in order to save costs and streamline the company. There are many ways to do that, but the most commonly used is downsizing. Downsizing is a way of efficiency by removing unnecessary employees to avoid unnecessary costs. Although downsizing is effective in saving costs, there are some negative effects of downsizing, namely its effect on emotional exhaustion and job satisfaction of the remaining employees in the company or can be said to be layoff survivors. Emotional exhaustion can be interpreted as emotional exhaustion towards their work while job satisfaction is the feeling of satisfaction that a person has when doing their job. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the effect of downsizing on emotional exhaustion and job satisfaction of employees working in the e-commerce industry in Indonesia. This study uses quantitative research methods with a cross sectional approach and non-probability sampling techniques with data obtained by means of questionnaires distributed to 180 respondents. The results of this study Downsizing has a significant effect on emotional exhaustion, Downsizing has a significant effect on job satisfaction, Job Satisfaction has a significant effect on emotional exhaustion, Job Satisfaction can mediate the effect of downsizing on emotional exhaustion.

The selected samples from 3 periods were 63 samples, which will then be used as research material. The results of this study indicate that the profitability variable has a significant positive effect on the earnings management of a company, while the audit opinion variable, the size of the public accounting firm (KAP) and leverage have no significant effect on the earnings management of a company. The Adjusted R Square value is 0.110, this means that 11.00% of the dependent variable can be explained by the independent variable, while the remaining 89.00% is explained by other variables outside the model.

Abstract

One of the means for companies to carry out an initial offering of shares or what is commonly known as an Initial Public Offering (IPO) in the primary market. In conducting an initial share offering there is an underpricing phenomenon. Underpricing is a phenomenon where the initial offering price of shares is lower than the closing price of shares on the first day on the secondary market. The aim of this research is to determine the factors that influence the level of underpricing. The independent variables studied are company size, underwriter reputation, return on assets (ROA), and earnings per share (EPS). The population in this research is all companies that conducted an IPO on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2020. The sampling technique uses a purposive sampling technique, namely selecting samples using predetermined criteria, so that the sample obtained is 50 companies. The analysis method in this research uses multiple linear regression. The research results show that company size has a significant effect on underpricing, underwriter reputation, and return on assets (ROA), and underpricing.

This research aims to determine the influence of price perception, customer trust, and customer experience on purchasing decisions of MTM Pharmacy products/services in Bekasi. The subjects of this study are MTM Pharmacy customers, with a total sample size of 80 respondents. The sample selection was done using non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique. The method used is Partial Least Square – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that all four variables are declared valid with AVE values greater than 0.5, and the reliability test with Cronbach's Alpha parameter for all four variables shows values greater than 0.6. Furthermore, the results of the direct influence test of the three independent variables show that price perception has a (positive) influence on purchasing decisions with p-values of 0.000; customer trust has a (positive) influence on purchasing decisions with p-values of 0.016; and customer experience has a (positive) influence on purchasing decisions with p-values of 0.001."

Abstract

Bank performance needs to be monitored because of the role of banks as intermediary institutions that collect funds from surplus parties and channel them to deficit parties. This business characteristic makes the banking sector regulated by the government to maintain economic stability and meet the interests of society. Banking performance during 2018-2022 is engaging to study because there is a significant force, namely the COVID-19 pandemic, which impacts economic stability in Indonesia. This research was conducted to obtain empirical evidence of the influence of banking-specific factors and industry-specific factors on banking performance. This research uses quantitative methods by collecting financial reporting data from companies in the banking sub-sector. The banking-specific factors that influence bank performance are capital measured by CAR, liquidity measured by CDR, firm size measured by bank size, asset quality measured by NPL, cash ratio, leverage measured by the DER, management productivity measured by the BPE and the industry-specific factors that influence bank performance, namely GDP, inflation rate and effective tax rate. ROA measures banking performance. Data collection and processing were carried out using IBM SPSS Statistics 25 software. The study's results showed the banking-specific factors that significantly influenced bank performance were CDR, bank size, NPL, DER, and BPE. In contrast, the industry-specific factor was only GDP, which significantly influenced banking performance.
