Method: This literature review uses articles published in the last 8 years, namely from 2017 to 2024 with a total number of articles of 1,544. Keyword determination is done using the PICO format according to the topic of the assignment. Article searches are carried out through the Proquest, Sciencedirect, and Google Scholar databases, following the inclusion and exclusion criteria that have been determined. The article identification process uses the PRISMA Flowchart diagram so that the total number of articles that match the topic is 5 articles. Results: from the search results, a number of articles were found that were relevant to the topic of this literature review which resulted in themes related to the application of the middlerange theory "Health Promotional Pender" to factors that can influence anxiety in adolescents during puberty, where the factors that most influence anxiety are psychological factors such as peer pressure, social media and negative self image. Conclusion: The results of this literature review indicate that factors that can trigger anxiety in adolescents include peer pressure (environment), social media, and negative self-image. Success in modifying behavior and improving health behavior in adolescents in dealing with changes during puberty is one form of the role and function of the Pender health promotion model (PHM). Abstract

Introduction: Tuberculosis (TB) is still a global health problem, especially in developing countries such as Indonesia. Home environmental factors play an important role in the spread of this disease. Poor ventilation, lack of lighting, and high occupancy density can increase the risk of infection. Research objectives: This study aims to evaluate the conditions of the home environment related to the risk of TB spread. Methods: This study uses a descriptive design with a quantitative approach. Measurements were made on 85 homes using roll meters, lux meters, and thermohygrometers to assess ventilation area, lighting, floor type, humidity, occupancy density, and room temperature. The analysis was carried out descriptively to determine the percentage of houses that met or did not meet environmental health standards. Results: The results of the study showed that most homes did not meet environmental health standards. As many as 81.2% of houses have inadequate ventilation, 71.1% have less than standard lighting, and 77.6% have high residential density. In addition, 84.7% of homes had humidity outside the ideal range, 82.4% had inappropriate room temperatures, and 60% of homes had floors that were not waterproof. Conclusion: Poor home environmental conditions contribute to the risk of TB spread. Interventions are needed in the form of community education, improvement of ventilation and lighting, and reduction of residential density to create a healthier environment.

Abstract

Introduction: Adolescence is a crucial period in individual development, characterized by biological, psychological, and social changes. The transition to boarding schools, such as Islamic boarding schools, presents adolescents with new challenges that may affect their well-being. Objective: This study aims to identify factors influencing adolescent resilience in Islamic boarding schools using the scoping review method. Methods: The literature search was conducted using the PubMed, ScienceDirect, Scopus, and Google Scholar databases, guided by the Arksey and O’Malley framework and the PRISMA-ScR guidelines. This process was complemented by the development of inclusion and exclusion criteria. The inclusion criteria applied in this study were as follows: original research articles published in English, within the last five years (2020–2024), available in full-text format, accessible, and specifically discussing resilience among adolescents in Islamic boarding schools. Results: A total of seven articles with similar themes indicated that adolescent resilience in boarding schools is influenced by various factors, including social support, coping strategies, and biopsychosocial aspects. Support from family, peers, and caregivers plays a vital role in building psychological resilience. Adaptive coping strategies, such as emotion regulation and seeking social support, help adolescents manage academic and social pressures. Additionally, biopsychosocial factors, such as physical activity, personality, and life experiences, contribute to strengthening resilience. Conclusions: This study concludes that a combination of social support, appropriate coping strategies, and biopsychosocial balance plays a crucial role in fostering adolescent resilience in Islamic boarding schools. These findings are expected to serve as a foundation for developing strategies to enhance adolescent well-being and mental resilience in boarding school environments.

Objective: The purpose of this review is to identify the effect of thermotherapy on chest pain in patients with SCA. Methods: the method used was literature review, using electronic journal databases. Databases used include Pubmed, Science Direct, and Proquest with keywords that match chest pain, ACS, and thermotherapy. Results: The results of the literature search obtained 3 articles from databases and 3 articles from handsearch. All the literature found obtained results that had a significant effect or positive results on reducing the intensity of chest pain in patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) with thermotherapy or heat therapy. Conclusion: Thermotherapy or heat therapy can be used as an alternative therapy to reduce chest pain in ACS patients.
