The method used in this research is descriptive and spatial analysis in determining the potential of Land Object of Agrarian Reform. The results of the analysis show that from 727 registered land parcels, 18% of the subjects receiving Land Object of Agrarian Reform work as farmers, and subjects receiving land for the agrarian reform object are indicated to have not been targeted. With the integration of asset management and access arrangement, the resulting impact is an increase in people's income. The potential of land that does not have strong legality is 900.96 hectares or with a percentage of 33% of the total area of South Cambai Village.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has affected the economy from both the supply and demand sides. Policies are designed coherently and quickly, especially monetary and fiscal stimulus. However, the network effect of Covid-19 and global uncertainty can be a challenge in implementing a policy. The motivation behind this study is to determine the response of fiscal and monetary policies to income inequality in Indonesia pra-pandemic and during the period of Covid-19 pandemic. The dataset used in this study is panel data which consists of 25 provinces in Indonesia and period from 2017 – 2021. The estimation method used to identify the response of monetary and fiscal policy to income inequality in Indonesia is Dynamic GMM. This study found that only fiscal policies were effective in reducing inequality in Indonesia before the Covid-19 pandemic. Then during the Covid-19 pandemic period, this study found that monetary and fiscal policies were effective in reducing inequality in Indonesia. This condition shows that the stimulus issued by the government is effective in the sense that it can be a cushion to prevent widening inequality during the Covid-19 period. Overall, this study implies that policy synchronization between fiscal and monetary is needed to minimize the economic impact during the Covid-19 pandemic

Abstract

This study analyzes causality between global uncertainty and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) substitution to FDI, specifically for some Asian Countries. United Nations (2004) explains FDI is an indicator for sustainable development. It becomes crucial within the scope of Asian Countries because the majority are still developing. Measurement of global uncertainty uses the World Uncertainty Index (WUI) which is based on the quantification of text mining results in the Economic Intelligence Unit (EIU) report by The Economist. This study assumes that when global FDI is moved from certain sub-regions to other areas, the percentage of FDI to GDP of countries located in these sub-regions will decrease. The method used is fixed effect with research period of 2012-2020, this study analyzes 35 Asian Countries. However, the panel data is unbalanced. The results obtained are that WUI has no effect on FDI within the Asian countries, while substitution of FDI at the sub-regional level has a negative and significant effect.

Abstract

The absence of quality spending become the main reason for government failed to provide multiplier in achieving its economic objectives. The phenomenon of budgetary slack will be likely to occur if there is no any standard to control government expenditure's success. This study aims to provide a method to identify the effectiveness of government budget by Comparing Sustainable Development Indicators as outcome and government expenditure relative to its economy as output. We also measure the rasio of government expenditure to its revenue sources as indicators of budget efficiency. Using 2021 data of SDGs indicators and government budget (both at central and regional or province government level) we found that both at the national and regional levels, the spending had been quite effective. Meanwhile for the level of budget efficiency, the central government is quite efficient, while some of regional governments were not.
