Abstract

This community service program aimed to improve vocational competence and occupational safety awareness among students of Quantum Idea Islamic Boarding School, Bekasi, through basic Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) training. The program used a participatory practice-based method consisting of needs observation, activity socialization, theoretical instruction, guided welding practice, mentoring, and evaluation. The training materials covered basic SMAW concepts, welding equipment, electrodes, current setting, personal protective equipment, and basic occupational health and safety procedures. The results showed that the participants understood the basic stages of SMAW welding, recognized welding hazards, applied personal protective equipment more consistently, and performed basic welding practice in 1F and 2F positions under instructor supervision. The mentoring process also encouraged students to view welding skills as a practical competence for facility maintenance and small-scale entrepreneurship in the pesantren environment.

Abstract

The rapid development of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) has triggered the "photos with idols" Prompt-AI content trend, which manipulates visual identities on social media,. This study aims to measurably analyze the relationship between exposure to such Prompt-AI content and the tendency to neutralize (normalize) digital privacy abuse among students at University X in Pekanbaru. The research employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive design. Data were collected via online questionnaires using a four-point Likert scale from 103 student respondents selected through purposive sampling,. Data analysis was conducted using the Pearson Product Moment correlation test via SPSS software, following validity and reliability confirmation (Cronbach's Alpha > 0.80) and ensuring normal data distribution through the One-Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov test,. The results demonstrate a significant positive relationship of moderate strength (r=0.535; p=0.000) between content exposure and the neutralization of digital privacy abuse.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the success of Posyandu Sejahtera in improving maternal and child healthcare service quality in Tanjung Barulak Village, Tanah Datar Regency. Informants were selected using a purposive sampling technique and consisted of Posyandu cadres, Posyandu administrators, healthcare personnel from the community health center (Puskesmas), and community members as service beneficiaries. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and documentation and were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the success of Posyandu Sejahtera is influenced by four interrelated factors: Posyandu cadres, community participation, healthcare personnel, and facilities and infrastructure. Active and competent Posyandu cadres, high community participation, guidance and assistance from healthcare personnel, and adequate facilities and infrastructure despite several existing limitations collectively support the improvement of maternal and child healthcare service quality. These four factors work synergistically to enable Posyandu Sejahtera to deliver quality healthcare services.

Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to improve the understanding, knowledge, and skills of novice entrepreneurs in utilizing social media as a digital marketing tool to expand market reach and increase business competitiveness. The activity implementation method uses an educational and participatory approach through initial surveys, counseling, training, demonstrations, direct practice, discussions, questions and answers, mentoring, and evaluations. The activity was carried out on April 18–19, 2026, involving novice entrepreneurs, the community, and young people who have an interest in entrepreneurship. The results of the implementation showed that participants experienced an increased understanding of digital marketing concepts, were able to manage business social media accounts better, and had skills in creating more attractive and effective promotional content. Furthermore, participants gained a deeper understanding of the importance of branding strategies, customer interaction, and the use of social media to expand their market. This PKM program positively contributes to improving digital literacy, encouraging technology-based marketing transformation, and strengthening the competitiveness of budding entrepreneurs in the digital economy era.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of leadership and organizational culture in shaping employee performance at PT Prima Jaya Makmur using a quantitative associative approach. The population consists of 375 employees, including doctors, midwives, nurses, and non-medical staff, with a sample of 128 respondents determined through proportional random sampling using the Slovin formula. Data analysis techniques include instrument testing (validity and reliability) and multiple linear regression analysis. The findings indicate that leadership contributes to improving employee performance through the ability to provide clear direction, foster effective communication, and demonstrate exemplary behavior. Meanwhile, organizational culture plays a more dominant role in shaping work behavior, as the values and norms embedded within the organization encourage consistency, discipline, and employee commitment. Collectively, leadership and organizational culture create a synergy that strengthens employee performance more optimally.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation and work discipline on employee performance at PT Rezeki Sejahtera. The research methodology used is the Associative method. The population in this study were all employees at PT Rezeki Sejahtera, totaling 146 employees. By using the Slovin formula, a sample of 107 respondents was obtained. The data analysis method used multiple linear regression tests, correlation coefficients, determination coefficients, partial t tests and simultaneous F tests. The results of the study indicate that: (1) There is a positive and significant influence of Work Motivation on employee performance at PT Rezeki Sejahtera, this can be proven from the t-count value of 4.247> t-table 1.983 with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. (2) There is a positive and significant influence of work discipline on employee performance at PT Rezeki Sejahtera, this can be proven from the t-count value of 4.885> t-table 1.983 with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. (3) Simultaneously, there is a positive and significant influence of motivation and work discipline on employee performance at PT Rezeki Sejahtera. This can be proven by the equation of the calculated F value of 52.133 > Ftable 3.08 with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of product quality and product variety in creating customer satisfaction in retail businesses. Toko Yan Curug, as a store serving consumers’ daily needs, needs to understand the factors that can improve customer satisfaction in order to maintain loyalty and business competitiveness. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of product quality and product variety as determinants of customer satisfaction at Toko Yan Curug. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a survey technique through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents who are customers of Toko Yan Curug. The sampling technique applied is accidental sampling, while data analysis is conducted through validity testing, reliability testing, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing. The results indicate that product quality and product variety play a positive role in shaping customer satisfaction, both partially and simultaneously. These findings confirm that customers tend to feel more satisfied when the available products have good quality and diverse choices that meet their needs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work discipline and compensation on employee performance at PT. Delta Sukses Pratama, Cikokol Tangerang. A quantitative approach with an associative research method was employed. The population consisted of all 75 employees of PT. Delta Sukses Pratama, and since the population size was relatively small, a saturated sampling technique was applied, resulting in 75 respondents. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, correlation coefficient analysis, coefficient of determination, t-test, and F-test. The findings reveal that work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, indicating that employees who consistently comply with organizational rules, procedures, and responsibilities tend to demonstrate higher levels of performance. Compensation also exerts a positive and significant influence on employee performance, suggesting that fair and appropriate rewards enhance employee motivation and productivity. Furthermore, work discipline and compensation simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, contributing 55.7% to the variance in performance, while the remaining 44.3% is explained by other factors outside the research model. These findings emphasize that employee performance improvement requires not only strong disciplinary practices but also an effective compensation system that recognizes employee contributions.

Abstract

Diarrhea remains a public health problem closely associated with environmental sanitation conditions. In Batu Bara Regency, 3,382 cases of diarrhea were reported in 2025. This study aimed to analyze the risk of diarrhea transmission through fly vectors based on environmental sanitation conditions at X Indrapura Traditional Market. This study employed a descriptive quantitative observational method with a cross-sectional approach through direct observation using a sanitation checklist and fly density measurements. The results showed that the vegetable section had a sanitation score of 52.5% (fair category), while the grocery section scored 77.5% (good category). The highest average fly density was found in the fish section (13.8 flies), followed by the vegetable section (10.6 flies) and the grocery section (3.4 flies). Higher fly density was observed in areas with large amounts of organic waste, humid conditions, and inadequate drainage systems. Poor sanitation conditions may increase fly populations, thereby raising the risk of food contamination and diarrhea transmission. Therefore, improvements in waste management, sanitation facilities, and vector control are needed to create a healthier market environment.

Abstract

This community service program aims to strengthen financial literacy and insurance awareness among high school students and final-year university students in Malang through a collaboration between Universitas Brawijaya and PT Asuransi Umum Bumida 1976 Malang Branch. The program was implemented through three systematic stages: preparation (needs assessment and development of educational modules), implementation (knowledge transfer and financial attitude formation through interactive methods), and evaluation using pre-test and post-test instruments. A number of participants completed the entire program series. The results indicate an improvement in participants’ financial literacy based on comparisons between pre-test and post-test scores, as well as a significant shift in attitudes from skepticism to greater openness toward the utilization of insurance products.
