Abstract

High levels of stunting have a negative impact on children's development and learning abilities, increasing their risk of infection, and making them more vulnerable to disease. To prevent stunting in future generations, it is necessary to intervene early, especially in the adolescent age group. Teenagers play an important role and have great potential in preventing and breaking the cycle of stunting. This research aims to increase teenagers' knowledge about the factors that influence stunting through the social media platform Twitter. Adolescent health promotion can be effectively carried out through social media. This research method is quantitative, using a Pretest-Posttest design with a Control Group. Comparisons were made between the experimental group who were given stunting education via videos on Twitter and the control group who did not receive the intervention. The number of samples for this research was 40 students in class XI. The research instrument is a questionnaire, and statistical analysis uses the Paired Sample t-test. The research results showed that the average knowledge value in the experimental group before education was 8.85, and after education it was 12.75, while in the control group without intervention, the initial average value of 7.25 changed to 7.05. With a P-value = 0.000 (p <α 0.05), H0 is rejected, indicating that there is a significant influence of educational videos about factors influencing stunting via Twitter social media on adolescent knowledge at SMA Negeri 4 Samarinda.

Abstract

Patient safety and prevalence of nosocomial infections are directly related to the problem of airborne germs in the operating room. If not properly controlled, airborne microorganisms can increase the risk of surgical problems and prolong the recovery period, thus jeopardizing patient safety. This disease can also be the cause of nosocomial infections. The main purpose of this study was to determine the most common microorganisms found in operating rooms in Indonesia. By collecting and analyzing data from a variety of literature sources, the study provides a deeper understanding of the composition of airborne microorganisms, the factors that influence them, and their implications for clinical practice and hospital policy. This study collected 37 articles filtered according to inclusion and exclusion criteria using the preferred reporting items for systematic review and meta-analysis (PRISMA) model. It was found that Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Escherichia coli became the most frequently occurring microrganisms. The results of this study have consequences that emphasize the need for better hygiene habits, efficient ventilation systems, and increased awareness of infection risks among medical personnel. The findings of this study are expected to contribute to improving the standard of safety and patient care in hospitals in Indonesia.

Abstract

Family Planning (KB) policy aims to control population growth by reducing birth rates. However, many women experience difficulty in choosing the appropriate type of contraception. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence women of childbearing age (WUS) in choosing a long-term contraceptive method (MKJP). The design of this research is an analytical survey with a cross-sectional approach. The sample for this research was 95 WUS mothers who were selected by accidental sampling. Data was collected through primary and secondary data and analyzed using the binary logistic regression test. The research results show that knowledge, attitudes, husband's support, and socio-cultural factors have a significant influence on the selection of MKJP. However, the role of health workers does not have a significant influence. This research concludes that knowledge, attitudes, husband's support, and socio-cultural factors influence the selection of MKJP, while the role of health workers has no influence. It is hoped that these results can serve as a guide for family planning service officers to improve WUS knowledge and attitudes and provide comprehensive contraception.

Abstract

Patient behavior as consumers in utilizing health services, including the decision to seek re-treatment, is influenced by several factors such as the quality of doctor/nurse services, distance, facilities, and speed of service. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence patients' decisions to utilize health services for repeat treatment. The research method used was quantitative with a cross-sectional design, carried out at the Putri Hijau Level II Hospital in Medan. A sample of 247 people was selected using the accidental sampling method from a population of 3,946 people. Data analysis used univariate, bivariate chi-square, and multivariate approaches with multiple logistic regression at a 95% confidence level. The research results show that the quality of doctor/nurse services, distance, facilities, and speed of service have a significant influence on the patient's decision to seek treatment again. Meanwhile, factors such as age, gender, education, and employment do not have a significant effect. The most dominant factor is facilities, where respondents who feel that hospital facilities are good have a higher chance of undergoing repeat treatment. This research concludes that factors such as the quality of doctor/nurse services, distance, facilities, and speed of service have a significant influence on patients' decisions in utilizing health services for re-treatment at Putri Hijau Level II Hospital in Medan. It is recommended that the hospital allocate a budget to improve facilities that are still lacking and improve new service facilities to increase public confidence in seeking treatment again.
