The journal pursues the academic exploration on Indonesian Islamic education discourses such as schools, colleges, universities, and other Islamic educational institutions such as pesantrens (Islamic boarding schools) in Islamic education discourses. The journal promotes empirical research and theory relevant to Islamic-affiliated educational institutions. Dahzain Nur: Jurnal Pendidikan, Keislaman dan Kemasyarakatan published twice a year always places Islamic Education in the central focus of academic inquiry and invites any discussions as the aim and scopes.

Abstract

This type of  research is classroom action research with the research subject being the fourth grade student og MI Abnaul Amir which consists of 16 students. The research was carried out in two action cycles. The first sysle discussed the subject of cooperatives and people’s welfare, while the second cycle discussed production, communication and transportation technology. Research data obtained from observations during science learning activities took place using student learning cooperation observation sheets, student response questionnaires,interviews, and documentation. The data obtained the student learning cooperation observation sheet and student response quetionnaires were analyzed by calculating the percentage of all observed aspects. The resultd showed thst the cooperative learning of students’ science cooperation after the teams games tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model showed that on average all aspects learning collaboration of fourth grade stude students of MI Abnaul Amir. Namely in the first cycle of student learning cooperation (4.08) for the second cycle of (4.77%). In addition, the results of the questionnaire to student learning cooperation on learning cooperation on learning also increased by (32.14%) in the first cycle and by (42.28%) in the second cysle.

Abstract

Self-assessment is one of the assessment techniques recommended in the 2013 curriculum. In accordance with the mandate of the 2013 curriculum which aims to prepare Indonesian people to have the ability to live as individuals and citizens who are faithful, productive, creative, innovative and affective and able to contribute to social life, nation, state, and world civilization, it is necessary to pay attention to the formation of attitudes that can be done through self-assessment. With the hope that students are able to assess and understand themselves for what is needed and how to meet these needs. Self-assessment is difficult to do, because in general it is difficult for humans to assess and measure themselves. Self-assessment objectively can shape the character of students to be able to tell the truth and believe in themselves and others. However, an appropriate way is needed to measure the objectivity of self-assessment. Learning cultural multiculturalism education has different characteristics from other learning, not only in terms of knowledge and skills, but also focuses on attitudes, because it includes activities of appreciation, expression, and creation. Based on these characteristics, self-assessment which is a form of assessment contained in the 2013 curriculum is something that must be considered and carried out by the teacher to determine success in the learning process.

Abstract

Proof is an effort by the parties to the case to convince the judge of the truth of the events or occurrences presented by the parties to the dispute with the evidence that has been determined. This research is intended to examine and investigate evidence in court in Islamic justice. This research is library research, namely action by utilizing library sources that are relevant to the object of research, namely evidence. Library study is a series of activities related to library data collection methods, by reading, recording and processing data obtained from books, journals, documents and other supporting data. The results of the research show that whoever has a right or aims to dispute another person's right or point to an event, he or she is obliged to prove the existence of that right or the existence of that event. The purpose of evidence is to try to protect innocent people so that the judge can decide a case fairly and correctly. The evidence based on the history of Islamic justice consists of Iqrar (confession), Shahadah (testimony), Yamin (oath), Qarinah (allegation), Letter and Expert Statement.

Abstract

This research delineates the role and purpose of philosophy in the pursuit of truth through profound thinking, while considering distinctions with empirical sciences. Philosophy, as an abstract discipline, investigates everything that exists or may exist logically. A comparison is drawn between observation in science and theoretical interpretation that can influence the understanding of phenomena. The discussion encompasses the concept of induction by Aristotle and the falsification approach by Karl Popper in the context of testing scientific theories. Theory, as scientific knowledge, has two realities, namely abstract and concrete, and yields rational explanations for why certain phenomena occur. The text also examines the differences between fundamental and derivative theories in science. Scientific explanation is defined as a statement that answers questions about how and why an event occurs, with an emphasis on the distinction between universal and object-specific theories. Overall, the text explores key concepts in philosophy and science, highlighting scientific and explanatory approaches to understanding reality.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explore the idea of moderation in various dimensions of human life. The method used is a literature review, which involves searching for and analyzing information sources in both print and digital forms related to moderation. The researcher conducted searches in libraries and utilized various web search engines to collect relevant data. The literature study activities involved reading, note-taking, and processing information from various sources such as books, journals, documents, and publications in both print and electronic forms. The findings of this research indicate that moderation in a religious context is consistency in following the teachings of Allah. This fosters a moderate attitude among Muslims, which is balanced in practicing religion and social interactions in the world. The Qur'an and the understanding of scholars affirm the condition of Muslims as a community that upholds goodness, justice, and balance, without adopting an extreme stance in religion, yet not neglecting their religious obligations. Moderation enables people to act justly and become role models for others. The concept of moderation applies not only to a single aspect of life but encompasses all aspects, with balanced and mature regulation.

Abstract

Sintuwu Maroso is a local culture of the Pamona community or tribe, which has been practiced since their settlement in the Poso Regency. Additionally, Sintuwu Maroso culture aligns with Islamic teachings due to its Islamic educational values, namely Tuwu Mombetubunuka (mutual respect), Tuwu Mombepatuwu (mutual sustenance/not causing harm to each other), Tuwu Siwagi (mutual support/helping others fulfill their needs), Tuwu Simpande Raya (understanding/tolerance), Tuwu Sintuwu Raya (upholding unity and solidarity), Tuwu Mombepomawo (mutual love), and Tuwu Molinuwu (productive life/not being lazy in seeking sustenance). The research problem posed in this study is whether Sintuwu Maroso culture embodies Islamic educational values that can be used as a learning medium for Islamic Religious Education and Character Education in schools. The aim of this research is to uncover Islamic educational values within Sintuwu Maroso culture as a means of teaching Islamic Religious Education and Character Education. The research method employed is qualitative in the form of descriptive field research, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that there are seven Islamic educational values within Sintuwu Maroso culture that can be utilized as a medium for teaching these values in Islamic Religious Education and Character Education subjects. These values include Tuwu Mombepatuwu (mutual sustenance), Tuwu Siwagi (mutual support), Tuwu Simpande Raya (understanding), Tuwu Sintuwu Raya (unity in diversity), Tuwu Mombepomawo (mutual love), and Tuwu Molinuwu (productive life). All these educational values within Sintuwu Maroso culture are rooted in the Qur’an and Hadith. In conclusion, Sintuwu Maroso culture represents Islamic Culture Education and serves as an investment in multicultural education.

Abstract

The purpose study find out the learning achievement students living in Islamic boarding schools, find out the learning achievement of students who do not live in Islamic boarding schools, find out the difference learning achievement between students living in boarding schools and students who live Islamic boarding schools. This study uses quantitativeapproach. The population in this study 170 students. Sampling used the Slovin formula, sthat sample of 62 students was obtained. The sampling technique used was proportionate stratified random sampling, that 15 students who lived in the cottage and 47 students live the cottage were obtained, (1) The learning achievement students living Islamic boarding schools the poor category, this evidenced by the results average test score, which is 68.8 in the interval of 57-69. (2) The learning achievement of students live in Islamic boarding schools the sufficient category, this is evidenced by the average test results, which 81.14 in theinterval of 70-82. (3) There significant difference between students who live Islamic boarding schools and students who Islamic boarding schools, this evidenced by the calculation the results of the t-test sampletest obtained with sig ( 2-tailed) 0.004 is less than 0.05, meaning it is rejected and accepted.????0????????

Abstract

Indonesia seeks to improve the quality of education through the Merdeka Learning program, which gives teachers the freedom to innovate, be creative, and learn independently in carrying out the educational process. Education in Indonesia is still lagging behind when compared to other countries. Currently, education plays an important and main role for humans. The success of the Finnish education system, which has been recognized at the international level, demonstrates its superior quality. In contrast to Indonesia, there is a very striking difference in the education system. The research method used is a literature review, where data is collected from journals or books that are analyzed according to the problem discussed. Primary data was obtained through direct observation of children's activities in the early grade. In addition, secondary data were collected through literature review and analysis of documents related to the implementation of education systems in both countries. All data obtained were analyzed using the descriptive analysis method. The results of the study show that Finland receives extraordinary support from the government, which includes the provision of adequate school facilities, superior teacher qualifications, and guarantees of equality and equity in access to education. On the other hand, both Indonesia and Finland have uniqueness in their respective education systems that are adapted to the conditions, needs, and capabilities of their countries. Despite their differences, both have tried to implement the best education system to achieve optimal learning goals

Abstract

The reality is that in Biru sub-district it is still debated because there are people who still adhere to customary law which believes that if the younger sibling steps over their older sibling in marriage, then it is feared that the older sibling will find their soul mate in a very long time and in addition there will be a disaster that will happen to them. when stepping over a sibling. In the community environment in the Biru sub-district that the author studied, the author saw that the custom of giving money as a stepper is still strongly in force, that is, if there is a marriage, stepping over the older sibling and if there is a younger brother who gets married by stepping over his older brother or vice versa. So it is believed that a disaster will befall the family if the traditional ceremony of giving money is not carried out first. In marriage customs in the Biru Village community, there is a custom that if someone wants to get married but there is an older sibling who is not married, then that person must wait for their older sibling to get married first, so many people consider it sacred not to carry out a procession of giving money or goods as a step/gift.
