Abstract

This research discusses efforts to optimize human resources (HR) in the construction industry at PT. Pusadega Superior. Effective HR management is crucial for increasing productivity and reducing risks in construction projects. The main problem identified is how HR optimization strategies influence project performance and job satisfaction. This study offers a new perspective by analyzing a comprehensive approach to HR management in the construction sector, an area that has not been widely explored in previous research. The research employs a qualitative case study method, utilizing qualitative analysis through interviews with project managers and staff, as well as document review related to HR management at PT. Pusadega Superior. The findings reveal that despite having good HR policies, their implementation is often inconsistent, which negatively impacts project performance. The main influencing factors are the quality of training and internal communication. The conclusion of this research is that increasing consistency in the implementation of HR policies and improving training and communication can enhance project performance and job satisfaction. The implication is that PT. Pusadega Superior must invest in better training programs and more effective communication strategies. The key message is that effective HR optimization is critical to the success of construction projects and worker satisfaction.

Abstract

The food industry has the nature of perishable goods, so there is always the possibility of products being returned to the manufacturer, namely reverse logistics. Reverse logistics include collection, sorting, recycling, redistribution, and disposal. One of the main challenges MSMEs face is accumulating unsold or damaged products. Chip products not sold out in the stores where they are kept often have to be recalled, resulting in a buildup of products in the warehouse. This study aims to analyze the practice of reverse logistics of banana chip products in one MSME called A3  and evaluate the extent to which they are based on Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM). The research method used is descriptive qualitative; data collection is done through interviews, direct observation, and analysis of related documents. The results showed that A3 had implemented reverse logistics practices by considering environmental aspects such as production waste management. However, some areas can still be improved further to maximize the contribution to Green Supply Chain Management. The implication of this study is to provide a deeper understanding of reverse logistics practices in the context of MSMEs and provide recommendations for other MSMEs to improve the conformity of their practices with the concept of Green Supply Chain Management.

Abstract

Performance is the result of work that can be achieved by a person or group of people in a company following their respective duties and responsibilities to achieve company goals legally, not against the law, and following morals and ethics. The success of Pt PLN (Persero) Customer Service Implementation (Up3) Palembang Customer Service Unit (ULP) Rivai in carrying out its duties must be connected to its employees, who are the technical implementers of the policy. In other words, the position of employees is one of the determining factors for smoothness in realizing company goals. Based on the data obtained at Pt PLN (Persero) Customer Service Implementation (UP3) Palembang Customer Service Unit (ULP) Rivai, the performance of employees in 2023 did not reach the target set by the company due to several factors that affected employee performance. One way to improve employee performance is to conduct a performance appraisal, which shows how well a person or group has worked to achieve company goals. Using a quantitative descriptive approach with a sample of 95 respondents and assisted by the SmartPLS 4.1.0.6 application, this study assesses employee performance from three components: work initiative, mastery of technology, and work environment. The result of this study indicates that the work initiative variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, the technology mastery variable has a positive and significant impact on employee performance, and the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.
