This study uses a qualitative method of library research, which aims to describe the basic idea of Islamic education from the perspective of K.H Hasyim Asy'ari, which is widely revealed in several of his books, one of them is Adabul 'Alim wa Muta'allim. Library research is the study research that utilizes library data as a data source. Thus, to find out in detail his concept of education, which is focused on not only religious education such as the study of the interpretation of the Qur'an, hadith, ushuluddin, books of the madhhab fiqh, nahwu, Musharraf, and material that discusses Sufism but also studies general, adapted to the times.

Abstract

This dissertation looks at the differences between scientific knowledge and other types, like philosophical, experiential, and traditional knowledge. It focuses on the guidelines and structures that separate these systems. Using methods like interviews, surveys, and a review of relevant literature, the study shows that scientific knowledge relies on evidence and repeatability, while other types of knowledge value personal experience, context, and cultural importance. Important findings reveal that healthcare workers often appreciate combining different types of knowledge to improve patient care, suggesting a move toward a more complete approach. These findings are significant because they could shape healthcare practices that honour various types of knowledge, leading to a better understanding of patient needs and wishes. Moreover, the study has wider relevance for health policy and education, promoting the inclusion of different perspectives in medical training and practice. By encouraging communication between scientific and non-scientific knowledge systems, the research highlights the importance of cultural awareness and the need for flexible healthcare models that respect and integrate various forms of knowledge. This could ultimately enhance healthcare results and create a more inclusive approach to patient care.

The paper also situates Haji aim and struggle towards putting the plan of education reform in the context of sociopolitical context of the Malabar in the century end that received him both the support and opposition for his measures towards modernizing the Muslim education. The paper also explores a significant period in Haji’s life, namely the invitation to reinvent theeducational institutions with the support of such civic patrons as Koyappathodi Ahmed Kutti Haji based on cooperation principles. Finally, being one of the most important theological controversies, Ainul Qibla Debate prompts the consideration of the correlation between theology and progressive/sustainable educational development in Kerala; it also demonstrates how contributive Haji’s thoughts have been to the creation of the progressive but at the same time traditional model of Islamic schooling. This research helps to fill the gap in the literature regarding religious reform and the ways scholars navigated between the poles of change and tradition in the implementation of the Islamic education.

Abstract

with personal mentorship as traditional learning methods. The swift technological progress has dramatically reshaped Islamic learning because it created extensive educational accessibility through digital platform usage together with remote Video classes and Artificial Intelligence educational resources. The research investigates how digital education affects Islamic learning while reviewing its present state along with its future perspective and associated hurdles. Research data collection relies heavily on qualitative techniques that utilize literature reviews combined with studies of prominent digital Islamic learning platforms which include Bayyinah Institute, Al-Maghrib Institute, Seekers Guidance and Islamic Online University. The research analyses the levels of credibility and accessibility while also evaluating engagement factors between digital learning in Islam versus traditional classroom techniques. The existing body of research about Islamic education still leaves a huge space to understand how digital learning affects students in multiple dimensions including their commitment and scholar authenticity when paired with their access to technology in disadvantaged communities. The research on conventional learning structures prevails over studies investigating the impact of online education in the existing academic field. The research establishes a bridge by performing an extensive evaluation of digital Islamic education benefits and weaknesses. Research takes place because digital education platforms have become essential for religious instruction particularly when used by Muslim minorities residing outside Muslim countries and self-directed learners who need flexible learning options. Investing knowledge into the effects these digital tools possess on religious education and scholarly communication will determine upcoming educational guidelines. The research demonstrates that virtual platforms bring many benefits to students, yet students must contend with issues of authenticity and insufficient mentorship along with ideological problems. Combining traditional madrasa education with digital methods creates the best learning system to preserve academic depth of traditional Islamic education through new technological resources. Research adds to academic knowledge by demonstrating the necessity to develop better authentication systems alongside increased digital education skills and joint ventures between traditional Islamic centres and virtual learning environments. Experts should research how digital Islamic education affects individuals psychologically and socially throughout time and how AI technology impacts the customization of Islamic religious content.
