Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) remains a significant public health burden in Indonesia. Characterizing pulmonary TB's clinical, radiological, and microbiological features is vital to support timely and accurate diagnosis at secondary healthcare levels. This study aimed to analyze the clinical characteristics, radiological patterns, and microbiological status of pulmonary TB patients treated in secondary hospitals in Indonesia. This descriptive cross-sectional study retrospectively reviewed medical records of 58 adult patients with radiologically confirmed pulmonary TB, treated between January 2022 and December 2023. Data on demographics, symptoms, comorbidities, radiological features, and sputum smear results were analyzed. Associations between variables were tested using chi-square tests. Most patients were male (55.2%), with a mean age of 50.6 years. Previous TB history was recorded in 25.9% of cases, and 15.5% had comorbidities such as hypertension and diabetes. Cough (84.5%), fever (48.3%), and weight loss (41.4%) were the most common symptoms. Consolidation (89.7%) was the predominant radiological finding, often involving multiple lung zones (70.7%), with advanced lesions present in 77.6% of patients. Sputum smears were positive in 39.7% of cases. Pulmonary TB patients treated at secondary hospitals commonly present with advanced radiological lesions, significant comorbidities, and frequent smear-negative results. Strengthening radiological diagnostic capacity and integrated management of TB–diabetes comorbidity are essential to improve case detection and outcomes.

Abstract

Indonesia's Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) has emerged as a transformative framework for enhancing public service quality through digital governance. This study examines SPBE's role in improving efficiency, transparency, and accessibility by analyzing its implementation across four domains: governance, management, services, and infrastructure. Despite progress reflected in Indonesia's improved SPBE Index (3.12 in 2024) and global e-government rankings, challenges such as the digital divide (2,881 villages lack internet access), low civil servant digital literacy (30%), cybersecurity threats (400 million attacks in 2023), and system fragmentation (24,000 unintegrated applications) hinder optimal outcomes. The research employs a literature review and bibliometric analysis of 533 studies, identifying six thematic clusters that highlight SPBE's structural foundations, service quality impacts, and regional disparities. Findings reveal that while SPBE streamlines workflows through unified portals like the Public Service Portal, inconsistencies in infrastructure maintenance, user interface design, and cross-agency integration persist. The SERVQUAL model (Zeithaml et al., 1985) underscores gaps in reliability, responsiveness, and empathy, particularly for rural and digitally excluded populations. Policy recommendations include targeted infrastructure development, tiered digital training programs, security-by-design adoption, and centralized data governance to address fragmentation. The study concludes that SPBE's success depends on bridging implementation gaps through institutional reinforcement, equitable resource distribution, and continuous evaluation, positioning it as a catalyst for Indonesia's bureaucratic reform and inclusive digital transformation.

Abstract

The problems of unemployment and the low competitiveness of the workforce remain major challenges in labor development in East Lombok Regency. A strategic effort undertaken to address these issues is the internship program to Japan as a means of developing human resources (HR) to create a new, competent workforce. This study aims to examine the management of HR development in the implementation of the internship program to Japan by the Department of Manpower of East Lombok Regency. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, document analysis, and literature review, and were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The research focuses on two main aspects: the recruitment and selection process of participants, as well as the implementation of HR development, which includes planning, execution, and evaluation. The findings reveal that the internship program to Japan is well-structured and effectively implemented, supported by strong leadership, competent human resources, internal communication, and external support from IM Japan and national regulations. Nevertheless, several challenges persist, including limited budget, training facilities, trainers, and uneven community support. The study recommends institutional strengthening, increased funding and infrastructure, inter-agency collaboration, community involvement, and the development of a digital monitoring system to ensure program sustainability.

Abstract

Academic procrastination is a persistent problem among high school students, leading to reduced learning outcomes and lower academic achievement. Peer relationships are a key factor influencing procrastination, as adolescents often rely heavily on their peers for support, motivation, and identity. However, when peer interactions are not constructive, they may reinforce avoidance and task delays. At SMA Negeri 1 Namorambe, procrastination remains a challenge for many students, highlighting the need to better understand how peer relationships contribute to this behavior. Urgent attention to this issue is crucial to prevent negative impacts on students’ academic success and overall development. This study investigates the relationship between peer relationships and academic procrastination among students at SMA Negeri 1 Namorambe. Academic procrastination remains a prevalent issue in the school setting, often shaped by the social environment and habitual task delay. Employing a correlational research design, the study involved 60 students selected as the sample. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using Pearson’s Product Moment correlation with the aid of SPSS software. Findings revealed a strong and statistically significant positive correlation between peer relationships and academic procrastination (r = 0.710, p < 0.001). These results suggest that a higher intensity of peer interactions, when not positively directed, increases the likelihood of students postponing academic tasks. The study concludes that the quality of peer relationships plays a critical role in shaping academic behaviors, particularly procrastination. Consequently, fostering a supportive and constructive social environment within schools is essential to mitigate procrastination and enhance students’ academic achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in improving the quality of services at the Elderly Integrated Health Post (Posyandu) at the Doi-Doi Community Health Center (Puskesmas) in Mattappawalie Village, Pujananting District, Barru Regency. SOPs are essential guidelines that standardize each stage of service delivery to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and responsiveness to the needs of the elderly. This study employed a qualitative approach, collecting data through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the existence of SOPs has a positive impact on the timeliness of services, clarity of staff workflows, and increased satisfaction among the elderly. However, challenges remain, such as a lack of understanding among some staff and suboptimal socialization and routine training. Therefore, SOPs play a crucial role not only as a technical reference but also as a tool for continuous service quality improvement at the Posyandu for the elderly. Capacity building of health workers and cadres is necessary through regular technical guidance to maximize SOP implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the subsidized fertilizer distribution program through Farmer Cards in Galung Village, Barru District, Barru Regency. This program is one of the government's efforts to digitize fertilizer subsidy distribution to make it more targeted, transparent, and efficient. The research method used was a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation. The results indicate that the implementation of the Farmer Card program in Galung Village still faces various obstacles, including farmers' limited understanding of card use, uneven card distribution, and technical issues with the electronic system used. Nevertheless, this program is considered capable of providing a new direction for more controlled and data-driven fertilizer subsidy distribution. This study recommends the need for more extensive outreach, increased farmer capacity in using Farmer Cards, and improvements to the support system to achieve equitable and sustainable subsidized fertilizer distribution.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of internal factors in the form of curiosity, self-determination, and digital mindset on the level of digital literacy of students in the context of implementing the Smart School program at SMA Negeri 13 Takalar. Using a quantitative approach with descriptive and verification methods, data were obtained from 65 respondents through a Likert scale questionnaire. The results of the regression analysis showed that the three independent variables had a positive and significant effect on students' digital literacy. Self-determination was the factor with the largest contribution, followed by digital mindset and curiosity. The determination coefficient of 75.9% indicates that most of the variation in digital literacy can be explained by these three variables. This finding emphasizes the importance of students' psychological readiness, not only the provision of technological infrastructure, in supporting digital learning. The implications of this study indicate the need for learning strategies that focus on developing students' character and internal competencies so that the transformation of digital education can run optimally

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of marketing communication strategies based on the AIDA model (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) to increase patient visits to Executive Outpatient Services at Hermina Karawang Hospital in 2025. The research was driven by a 49% decline in executive outpatient visits compared to the previous year. A descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document reviews, and validated using source and method triangulation. Informants included marketing staff, hospital management, and patients who had used the services. The findings indicate that at the Attention stage, social media promotions (Instagram, TikTok) and leaflets successfully attracted attention, although public understanding of service benefits remained limited. At the Interest stage, interest was fostered through comfortable facilities and fast-track services, but educational efforts were inadequate. The Desire stage showed that personalized services and exclusive facilities stimulated desire, yet cost perceptions acted as a barrier. At the Action stage, some patients utilized and recommended the service, but conversion from interest to action was suboptimal due to limited information and the absence of loyalty programs. The study concludes that applying the AIDA model enhances awareness and interest but requires stronger efforts in patient education, cost transparency, and retention strategies. It is recommended that Hermina Karawang Hospital develop educational content, testimonial-driven digital campaigns, and loyalty programs to ensure sustainable utilization of executive outpatient services.
