Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of digital marketing strategies based on social media and word of mouth (WOM) in enhancing brand awareness and consumer purchase decisions. This research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach using the PRISMA framework to identify, evaluate, and synthesize relevant studies published between 2019 and 2025. A number of selected articles from Scopus-indexed and reputable journals were analyzed. The findings indicate that social media marketing significantly improves brand awareness through consumer engagement, interaction, and information dissemination. Meanwhile, word of mouth plays a crucial role in building consumer trust and influencing purchase decisions through recommendations and shared experiences. Furthermore, the integration of social media and word of mouth provides a stronger and more sustainable impact on consumer behavior, particularly in shaping brand perception and purchase intention

Abstract

This study aims to examine the forms of discourse, the ways in which society interprets and normalizes them, and the factors contributing to gender bias within the “Kampus Cantik” and “Kampus Ganteng” trends on social media platforms. This qualitative study employed a Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) approach to uncover the power relations, ideologies, and social representations embedded in users’ commentaries on both trends. Data collection techniques included virtual observation through the examination of user activities and interactions, as well as digital documentation by gathering screenshots of comments, videos, and upload descriptions that served as the objects of analysis. The findings reveal distinct patterns of responses between the “Kampus Cantik” and “Kampus Ganteng” trends. Comments on the “Kampus Cantik” trend were predominantly characterized by appreciation and expressions of female solidarity, whereas the “Kampus Ganteng” trend was largely dominated by teasing and sexually suggestive humor. These differences are influenced by several factors, including social constructions of masculinity, unequal moral interpretations, and media representation. This situation highlights the urgency of gender-sensitive digital literacy to raise public awareness that harassment can be experienced by anyone, regardless of gender. Therefore, digital spaces are expected to evolve into environments that are safer, more equitable, and free from discrimination for all individuals. Keywords: discourse analysis, sexism and the normalization of gender bias, men, comment sections, TikTok.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how working women develop career resilience after experiencing relational betrayal in marriage. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with four working women from different professional backgrounds, including a lecturer, a communication professional, a teacher, and an employee of a state-owned enterprise. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis supported by the Gioia data structure, consisting of first-order concepts, second-order themes, and aggregate dimensions. The findings reveal that relational betrayal becomes a critical life event that disrupts emotional stability, trust, self-perception, and professional functioning. However, work serves as a survival space, a source of self-worth, and an anchor for rebuilding professional identity. Six main dimensions emerged from the analysis: emotional disruption, professional survival, reclaiming professional identity, supportive recovery environment, women empowerment, and career resilience. This study contributes to human resource management literature by showing that career resilience is shaped not only by organizational pressures, but also by personal crises that affect employees’ psychological resources and work functioning.

Abstract

The Jakarta Entrepreneur Program (Jakpreneur) was designed as an integrated entrepreneurial ecosystem through Gubernatorial Regulation No. 2 of 2020. The program's primary focus is to transform Jakarta's MSMEs into innovative and independent business units. However, post-mentoring sustainability is crucial. This study evaluates the level of financial independence of MSMEs assisted by Jakpreneur by analyzing the implementation of the 7P framework in various regions. Through a qualitative literature review, it was found that the program's effectiveness is often hampered by "equal distribution of facilities" at the expense of "depth of intervention." The results indicate a decline in tiered participation (from registration to capital) and low levels of independent digital literacy (only 8.40% in the marketplace). Key recommendations include redesigning exit strategies based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to ensure alumni remain competitive without relying entirely on government subsidies.
