Abstract

The form of the author's imagination and ideas that are present due to personal experiences that occur around the author's environment is called poetry. The selection of the poetry anthology of Sajak Sang Cendekia by MAN Insan Cendekia teachers was based on brief findings that were seen in terms of diction and figure of speech which were interesting to be studied further using stylistic studies. This study uses stylistics which is focused on the theory of diction and figure of speech. The stylistic approach is carried out by analyzing diction, figure of speech and its function in an anthology of poetry Sang Cendekia by the teachers of MAN Insan Cendekia. The source of the data is in the form of an anthology of Poetry Sajak Sang Cendekia written by MAN Insan Cendekia teachers throughout Indonesia. The poetry anthology consists of 121 poems which were first printed in April 2021 and published by CV Kanaka Media with 188 pages thick. The anthology of Poetry Sajak Sang Cendekia was created as a form of appreciation for Indonesian MGMP teachers at MAN IC in Indonesia. This anthology of The Scholar's Poems is a manifestation of the work of the first Indonesian language teacher MAN Insan Cendekia, during the Covid-19 outbreak in order to open the door of imagination to become a well-packaged and attractive theme choice. The data analysis technique used was descriptive qualitative analysis technique. ABSTRAK: Bentuk dari hasil imajinasi dan ide pikiran pengarang yang hadir karena pengalaman pribadi yang terjadi di sekitar lingkungan pengarang disebut dengan puisi. Pemilihan antologi puisi Sajak Sang Cendekia karya guru-guru MAN Insan Cendekia didasarkan pada temuan sekilas yang dilihat dari segi diksi dan majas yang menarik untuk dikaji lebih jauh dengan menggunakan kajian stilistika. Penelitian ini menggunakan stilistika yang difokuskan pada teori diksi dan majas. Pendekatan stilistika dilakukan dengan cara menganalisis diksi, majas dan fungsinya dala sebuah antologi puisi Sajak Sang Cendekia karya Guru-guru MAN Insan Cendekia. Adapun sumber datanya berupa antologi puisi Sajak Sang Cendekia yang ditulis oleh Guru-guru MAN Insan Cendekia se-Indonesia. Antologi puisi tersebut terdiri atas 121 puisi yang dicetak pertama kalinya pada bulan April tahun 2021 dan diterbitkan oleh CV Kanaka Media dengan tebal 188 halaman. Antologi puisi Sajak Sang Cendekia dibuat sebagai bentuk apresiasi guru MGMP Bahasa Indonesia MAN IC se-Indonesia. Antologi Sajak Sang Cendekia ini sebagai wujud karya guru Bahasa Indonesia MAN Insan Cendekia yang perdana, pada masa wabah Covid-19 agar dapat membuka pintu imajinasi untuk menjadi pilihan tema yang dikemas baik dan menarik. Adapun, teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the speed reading method on the speed reading ability of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 20 Alesipitto, Ma'rang District, Pangkep Regency. The type of research used by researchers is experimental, which means that research is used to look for the effect of certain treatments on others under controlled conditions. The population and sample of this study were all of the fifth grade students at SD Negeri 20 Alesipitto, totaling 11 people, and the sample was all of the fifth grade students at SD Negeri 20 Alesipitto, totaling 11 people. Data was collected using observation and also tests, the data collected was analyzed using pretest and posttest. The results showed that the results of the ability to read fast before being taught using speed reading the level of mastery was in the medium category, after using the speed reading method it reached the high category. So it can be concluded that the speed reading method can be used to improve students' speed reading skills, some of the advantages are that it can activate students during the learning process, attract students' attention and make it easier for students to understand. ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode speed reading terhadap kemampuan membaca cepat siswa kelas V SD Negeri 20 Alesipitto Kecamatan Ma’rang Kabupaten Pangkep. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti yaitu eksperimen, yang artinya penelitian yang digunakan untuk mencari pengaruh perlakuan tertentu terhadap yang lain dalam kondisi yang terkendalikan. Populasi dan sampel penelitian ini yaitu populasinya seluruh siswa kelas V SD Negeri 20 Alesipitto yang berjumlah 11 orang, dan sampelnya yaitu keseluruhan siswa kelas V SD Negeri 20 Alesipitto yang berjumlah 11 orang. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan observasi dan juga tes, data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan pretest dan posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil kemampuan membaca cepat sebelum di ajar dengan menggunakan speed reading tingkat penguasaan berada pada kategori sedang, setelah menggunakan metode speed reading mencapai kategori tinggi. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode speed reading dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca cepat siswa, beberapa keuntungannya yaitu dapat mengaktifkan murid pada saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung, menarik perhatian murid dan mempermudah pemahaman murid.

Abstract

The purpose of this preliminary study research is to identify the results of learning Indonesian fiction story material for grade VI UPTD students of SDN Banyuajuh 2. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The instruments used include observation sheets, interview sheets, and test sheets. The analytical techniques used in this study are descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative. The time for data collection starts on February 25, 2023 until it is completed. The subjects in this preliminary study is a class VI teacher and 29 grade VI students at UPTD SDN Banyuajuh 2. The observation results show that the resitation or assignment method is often used by teachers in learning Indonesian, while students do not fully understand the concept of the subject matter, for example fictional story material. This is one of the causes of low student learning outcomes. From the test results, it shows that there are 2 students who get a score above KKM out of a total of 29 students in the class. The KKM that has been determined by the school is 65, but the data results show that there are 27 students who score below KKM. The conclusion of this preliminary study is that there are several factors that cause low student learning outcomes including the method of resitation or assignment too often applied in learning and lack of giving examples of fictional stories to students. ABSTRAK: Tujuan dari penelitian studi pendahuluan ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia materi cerita fiksi siswa kelas VI UPTD SDN Banyuajuh 2. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi lembar observasi, lembar wawancara, dan lembar tes. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Waktu pelaksanaan pengambilan data dimulai pada tanggal 25 Februari 2023 hingga selesai. Subjek dalam studi pendahuluan ini adalah guru kelas VI dan 29 siswa kelas VI di UPTD SDN Banyuajuh 2. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa metode resitasi atau penugasan sering digunakan guru dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia, sedangkan siswa belum sepenuhnya memahami konsep materi pelajaran, contohnya materi cerita fiksi. Hal ini menjadi salah satu penyebab hasil belajar siswa yang rendah. Dari hasil tes menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 2 siswa yang memperoleh nilai di atas KKM dari total siswa yaitu 29 di kelas tersebut. Adapun KKM yang sudah ditentukan sekolah yaitu 65, namun hasil data menunjukkan ada 27 siswa yang memperoleh nilai di bawah KKM. Kesimpulan dari studi pendahuluan ini adalah terdapat beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan rendahnya hasil belajar siswa diantaranya adalah metode resitasi atau penugasan terlalu sering diterapkan dalam pembelajaran dan kurangnya pemberian contoh-contoh cerita fiksi kepada siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the Project Based Learning model to improve children's story skills in Indonesian language lessons at SDI Mallengkeri Bertingkat I, Makassar City. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. The students who were the subject of the research were 31 grade IV students. Data obtained from research results through instruments will be processed and analyzed using descriptive statistical data analysis. The results of students' Indonesian learning can be seen from their speaking skills individually and in groups. The criteria for a student are said to be complete when they meet the specified Minimum Completeness Criteria. The criteria for completeness of student learning outcomes are said to be complete if they meet the minimum completeness criteria determined by the school, namely 70, while classical completeness is achieved if at least 80% of students in the class have achieved a minimum score of completeness. The results showed that the process of learning children's stories in cycle I was unsatisfactory and the classroom atmosphere was still not conducive, students' interest in participating in learning was lacking, because cycle I was not successful, so the researcher continued his research in cycle II. After the implementation of cycle II, the improvement in learning greatly increased, students began to be active and enthusiastic about participating in learning, the classroom atmosphere was conducive and the grades obtained by students increased. The aspects that are considered and assessed in this lesson are the courage of students to express opinions, group cooperation, pretest and posttest. ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model Project Based Learning untuk dalam meningkatkan kemampuan cerita anak pada pelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SDI Mallengkeri Bertingkat I Kota Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Siswa yang menjadi subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 31 siswa. Data yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian melalui instrumen akan diolah dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis data statistik deskriptif. Hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia siswa dapat dilihat dari keterampilan berbicara secara individual maupun kelompok. Kriteria seorang siswa dikatakan tuntas ketika memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) yang ditentukan. Kriteria ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa dikatakan tuntas apabila memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimal yang ditentukan oleh sekolah yaitu 70, sedangkan ketuntasan klasikal tercapai apabila minimal 80% siswa di kelas tersebut telah tercapai skor ketuntasan minimal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran cerita anak pada siklus I kurang memuaskan dan suasana kelas yang masih kurang kondusif , minat siswa dalam mengiuti pembelajaran pun kurang , dikarenakan pada siklus I ini belum berhasil maka penelliti melanjutkan penelitiannya ke siklus II. Setelah pelaksanaan siklus II maka peningkatan pembelajaran sangat meningkat, siswa mulai aktif dan semangat mengikuti pembelajaran suasana kelas pun kondusif dan nilai yang di peroleh siswa meningkat. Aspek yang diperhatikan dan dinilai dalam pembelajaran ini adalah keberanian siswa menyampaikan pendapat, kerjasama kelompok, tes pretest dan posttest.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the types of difficulties students in class IV of elementary school in writing poetry texts. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The subjects of this study were teachers and fourth grade students at Muhammadiyah 2 Socah Bangkalan Elementary School. The process of collecting data carried out by the method of tests and interviews. The results of this study are that students encountered some difficulties in writing poetry texts. Difficulties that often occur in writing poetry include difficulty in determining diction such as word management that is not appropriate, typographical difficulties in spelling regularity or letters that are difficult to read so that they are less attractive, difficulty in determining figurative language in the power of expression, difficulty in determining rhyme in determining sound placement and repetition, and difficulty determining the tone in the atmosphere of the poem you want to convey. The difficulties that are classified as the most difficult for students are in the elements of diction and rhyme, and the lightest difficulty is in determining the mandate.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the increase in reading ability of exposition texts of Class X students of SMA Negeri 18 Makassar by using the cooperative script model. The type of research used was Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle is held in two meetings, including giving tests at the end of each cycle. PTK research procedures in this study include planning activities, implementation of actions, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were students of class X SMA Negeri 18 Makassar, which consisted of 35 students. The results showed that the use of the cooperative script learning model proved to be effective in improving students' reading text exposition skills, especially during the activity of finding and searching for the essence of the exposition text, as well as students' enthusiasm and active participation when participating in group discussion activities. The increase in students' reading skills is evidenced by the average score of students in each cycle, which increased by 60% in cycle I, and in cycle II it became 89%. Thus, the application of the cooperative script model is proven to be able to improve the skills of reading expository texts of Class X students of SMA Negeri 18 Makassar. ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan membaca teks eksposisi siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 18 Makassar dengan menggunakan model cooperative script. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus. Setiap siklus dilaksanakan sebanyak dua kali pertemuan, termasuk pemberian tes di setiap akhir siklus. Prosedur penelitian PTK dalam penelitian ini meliputi kegiatan perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 18 Makassar, yang berjumlah 35 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran cooperative script terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca teks eksposisi siswa, khususnya pada saat kegiatan menemukan dan mencari intisari dalam teks eksposisi, serta antusiasme dan partisipasi aktif siswa pada saat mengikuti kegiatan diskusi kelompok. Peningkatan keterampilan membaca siswa tersebut dibuktikan dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata siswa di setiap siklusnya, yakni meningkat sebanyak 60% pada siklus I, dan pada siklus II menjadi 89%. Dengan demikian, penerapan model cooperative script terbukti dapat meningkatan ketarampilan membaca teks eksposisi siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 18 Makassar.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the values of moral education contained in a novel entitled Mada by Abdullah Wong. Mada's novel tells a travel story about a character named Mada and his friends on a journey to find a book called Gunadarma. In this journey there are many values contained in the story that can be learned for the reader. The research method used in this study used a descriptive qualitative approach, the data collection technique used was a literature study technique with a gradual process of reading, writing, coding and then analyzing it descriptively. The data analysis technique used is a qualitative descriptive analysis technique. This research finds that the values of moral education contained in Mada's novel teach or educate readers to introduce a steadfast, tough, and wise morality awareness in dealing with all kinds of existing realities. ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan mengungkapkan nilai-nilai pendidikan moral yang terdapat dalam novel berjudul Mada karya Abdullah Wong. Novel Mada bercerita tentang cerita perjalanan tentang tokoh yang bernama Mada dan teman-temannya dalam perjalanan mencari buku yang berjudul gunadarma. Dalam perjalanan ini terdapat banyak nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam cerita yang dapat dipetik untuk pembaca. Metode penelitian yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, teknik pengumpulan data yang dipakai adalah teknik studi pustaka dengan proses bertahap yakni baca, catat, memberi kode dan selanjutnya dianalsis secara deskriptif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa nilai-nilai pendidikan moral yang terdapat dalam novel Mada mengajarkan atau mendidik para pembaca untuk mengenalkan kesadaran moralitas yang tabah, tangguh, dan bijaksana dalam menghadapi segala macam kenyataan yang ada.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the problems that occur in learning Indonesian in elementary schools, especially class IV SDN Gili Barat, Kamal District, Bangkalan Regency, East Java. Participants in this study were class IV teachers and 18 male students and 8 female students with a total of 26 students. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, questionnaires and tests. The first step before observing learning in class, the researcher conducted a case study at school. Furthermore, researchers made observations of student learning in the classroom with the aim of observing the state of the class during direct learning. The instruments used by the researchers were interview sheets with class teachers, observation sheets in class, student questionnaires and oral tests in the form of reading material. The reading material used by researchers is reading text in student books with the title "Weather Conditions". The results showed that the problems in learning Indonesian in class IV-A SDN Gili Barat were that there were some students who lacked vocabulary mastery because students did not use Indonesian in the school environment, inadequate learning facilities and lack of student activity in class and there were 3 students in the category of reading fluently, 7 students can read and 16 students can read fluently.

Abstract

The digital era has given rise to a variety of innovations, one of which is AI. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is assumed to be able to create a variety of things including producing a story. One of the AI known by the public is ChatGPT. However, the production of stories by AI is assumed to have limitations. The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the limitations of horror short stories produced by the artificial intelligence application, ChatGPT. This research is an objective research by applying a qualitative approach. The source of the research data is 20 horror short stories written by artificial intelligence on the ChatGPT application. Data collection is carried out by listening to record techniques. Data analysis is carried out by structural analysis, which is analyzing the building blocks of the story. This is the basis for conclusions related to the limitations of AI in producing horror stories. The results showed that Ai's limitations in writing horror short stories include limitations in writing titles, conversations, intrinsic elements, and the use of olfactory imagery. AI does not write the title of the story, writes dialogue in the form of direct sentences, repeats the background of the story, and does not write stories with the use of olfactory imagery language style.

The Covid-19 pandemic has had an extraordinary impact on various fields, including education. The pattern of learning that has been carried out face-to-face must change to virtual or distance learning. Learning patterns like this actually cause learning loss in students. In addition, the emergence of learning achievement gaps caused by differences in access and quality of learning. This problem can be overcome by applying a Technological, Pedagogical, and Content Knowledge (TPACK) approach in learning. This study aims to describe the application of the TPACK approach in improving students' mastery of concepts and self-reliance in learning Indonesian in a blended learning manner at SMP Negeri 32 Makassar. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The source of this research data is the process of implementing Indonesian language learning and mastery of concepts and student learning independence. The research subjects were class VIII students. The results of the study show that the use of the TPACK approach applied in learning Indonesian at SMP Negeri 32 Makassar can improve students' mastery of concepts and independent learning. In addition, understanding the concept of knowledge of technology, pedagogy, and content in blended learning in schools is a form of learning that represents the Freedom to Learn program.
