Abstract

Working time allocation is the amount of time allocated to carry out a series of activities that are usually carried out in economic and non-economic activities, the contribution of women workers also plays an important role in family household income. The aims of this study were (1) to describe the processing of Gambir batik (2) to find out the working time of women workers in the economic and non-economic activities of the Gambir batik business (3) to calculate how much the contribution of women workers is to family income. This research was conducted in Toman Village, Tripe Toman District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. The location determination was done purposively. The method used in this research is a survey method. The sampling method was carried out using a non-probability sampling method with a sample of 30 female workers. The data processing method uses descriptive analysis and uses contribution interval scale criteria. The results showed that the Gambir batik processing process consisted of 7 stages consisting of cloth mordant process, pattern making process, cloth pinching process, basic dyeing process, drying process and packaging process. The average time spent working for women workers to earn a living as women workers in the Gambir batik business in Toman Village, Babat Toman District, Musi Banyuasin Regency is 3.54 hours/day or 97.385 hours/month. The contribution of female workers' income to family income is 26.88%, where the range of income contribution is from 20.01-30.00% including moderate contribution

Abstract

The aims of this study were (1) to describe what the Mina Padi program was carried out by PT Pertamian RU III Plaju in the Sungai Rebo area for the community in Sungai Rebo village, (2) to calculate the monetization value from SROI calculations for the Mina Padi program in the village Sungai Rebo, (3) Analyzing the value of the reciprocal ratio of social investment in the implementation of PT Pertamian RU III Plaju's CSR program in Sungai Rebo Village, Banyuasin Regency. In this study, the SROI forecasting method was used to process Mina Padi program data where SROI is an analytical tool that measures the impact or benefits of a program, where later the outcomes of all activities carried out during this program are monetized into currency values, SROI forecasting itself is a method which is used for forecasting the value of the outcome of the Mina Padi program for the next 4 years. The Mina Padi Program is a program of CSR Pertamina RU III where the activities are carried out in Sungai Rebo Village, Banyuaasin I District, Banyuasin Regency, this Mina Padi program is not only in the form of rice but also integrated agriculture (rice, fish, ducks and vegetables), the purpose of this program is itself is to increase knowledge, skills, raise the standard of living of farmers, as well as to empower the people in the Rebo River. The SROI ratio of the Mina Padi program is as follows: (1) In calculating the SROI ratio every year, a positive value is obtained where the value of the SROI ratio is more than 1, which means that every IDR 1 invested will get a value that is more than the initial cost. invested, (2) In 2022 the SROI ratio value is 3.529, in 2023 the SROI ratio value is 3.028, in 2024 the SROI ratio value is 2.619 and in 2025 the SROI ratio value is 1.404, where the SROI ratio value is from 2022 – 2025 is worth > 1, which means that the Mina Padi program is able to produce a positive impact that exceeds the initial investment provided.

households in Indralaya Utara District, Ogan Ilir Regency, 2) analyze the factors that influence consumer demand for premium rice in Indralaya Utara District, Ogan Ilir Regency and 3) analyze the proportion of food expencies and non-food expencies in Indralaya Utara District, Ogan Ilir Regency. This research was conducted in Tanjung Pering Village, North Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency. This location determination was done deliberately with the research method used is the survey method. Datacollection was carried out in May-June 2023. The sampling method used was non- probability sampling, namely the samples were not randomly selected using the purposive sampling method. The research results obtained are: (1) The characteristics of premium rice household consumers consist of housewives who have an average age of 31 years, with the last education level of high school and have a family of 5 people with an average family income of Rp. 4,862,233/month. (2) factors that affect consumer demand for premium rice is Premium Rice Prices, Medium Rice Prices (Substitute Goods), Household Income, and Number of Family Members. (3) And for the results of the average proportion of food expenditure from 30 respondents, it was found that there are 7 people whose food expenditure is less than non-food expenditure and there are 23 people whose food expenditure is greater than non-food expenditure by 77 percent. This means that consumers of premium rice in Tanjung Pering Village have food expenditures that are greater than their non-food

Abstract

The objectives of this study are (1) Analyzing product flows, financial flows and information flows in the beef supply chain at the modern market in Palembang City. (2) Analyzing efficiency in the beef supply chain at the modern market in Palembang City. This research was conducted in the modern market in Palembang City. Data collection was carried out in January 2023. The method used is the survey method, which collects information from a sample by asking through a questionnaire or other aids that contain questions related to research. The sampling method used in this study is the purposive sample and accidental sample methods. The data collected in this study are primary data and secondary data. The supply chain for beef in the modern market has one supply chain, namely the flow of products from wholesalers – exchange traders – consumers. For financial flows starting from consumers - exchange traders - wholesalers - RPH. While the flow of information is information related to suppliers, beef purchasing locations, beef quality, beef supply quantities and market prices. The marketing efficiency value of beef from the Gandus Modern Ruminant RPH product is 0.031%, which means it is less than 50%, so it can be said to be efficient.

Abstract

Farmer groups are groups of farmers who are bound informally and are formed on the basis of similarity, interests, similar environmental conditions (social, economic, resources), familiarity and harmony, and have leaders to achieve common goals. Farmer groups are formed by and for farmers, in order to overcome common problems in farming and to strengthen farmers' bargaining efforts, both in the market for inputs and in the market for agricultural products. Corn is a staple food and has the potential to become a strategic commodity that plays a significant role in increasing income. The purposes of this study were (1) to assess the role of farmer groups in Tanjung Seteko Village, Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency, (2) to calculate the level of income and welfare of corn farmers in Tanjung Seteko Village, Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency, (3 to analyze the role relationship farmer groups with the level of welfare of corn farmers in Tanjung Seteko Village, Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency. Data collection was carried out from March to April 2023. The method used was survey and observation methods. The sampling method in this study was a simple random method. The results showed that the role of corn farmer groups in Tanjung Seteko Village is moderate or moderate.The average income of corn farmers in Tanjung Seteko Village is IDR 24,108,739/ha in a year.Based on the results of research, the income of corn farmers in Tanjung Seteko Village is higher than the value of the poverty rate in South Sumatra and 70.00% of farmers are in a prosperous level. Based on statistical tests, there is a significant relationship between the role of farmer group variables and the level of welfare with a correlation coefficient value of 0.548.

Abstract

Perception is a form of response that occurs in individuals obtained from the results of interpretation of themselves and their environment. Everyone has a tendency to see the same thing in different ways. Public perception of palm oil company PT. Bumi Sawindo Permai and its relationship with community welfare in Tanjung Lalang Village, Tanjung Agung District, Muara Enim Regency, the community has different perceptions, therefore the objectives of this study are (1) To measure public perceptions of palm oil companies PT. Bumi Sawindo Permai in Tanjung Lalang Village, Tanjung Agung District, Muara Enim Regency (2) To analyze the income and welfare of people living around the palm oil company PT. Bumi Sawindo Permai (3) to analyze the relationship between public perception of palm oil company PT. Bumi Sawindo Permai with community welfare in Tanjung Lalang Village, Tanjung Agung District, Muara Enim Regency. This research was conducted in Tanjung Lalang Village, Tanjung Agung District, Muara Enim Regency in March 2023 The research method used is the survey method and the sampling method is the simple random sample method. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The results of this study are: (1) Public perception of palm oil companies seen from perceptions of the environment, health, infrastructure, education, and income in Tanjung Lalang Village, Tanjung Agung District, Muara Enim Regency with an average of 41.17 included in the approval criteria. (2) The average income of the people in Tanjung Lalang Village, Tanjung Agung District is Rp. 361,286,521 / Th and the level of welfare in Tanjung Lalang Village is classified as high level of welfare (3) The relationship between people's perception of well-being has a strong correlation of 0.679 and a significant relationship because the significant value of 0.000<0.05 means that the correlation between perception and well-being has a strong relationship.

Abstract

The agricultural sector is still relied upon by most people as a life support and the main source of income in their households, so it can be referred to as Household Agricultural Business. The rice subsector is the most widely cultivated subsector by Household Agricultural Business in various types of land, one of which is lebak swamp land. Swamp land is a suboptimal land with potential for rice farming. Arisan Deras Village is one of the areas where households depend on rice farming on the swamp land to fulfill their daily needs. The consumption activities of a household will always be different and from this diversity form a consumption pattern. Consumption patterns can be defined as the arrangement of the types and amounts of goods or expenditures resulting from consumption activities carried out by an individual or group to meet their needs. Household consumption expenditure consists of food and non-food consumption. The objectives of this study were (1) to analyze the household consumption pattern of swamp rice farmers in Arisan Deras Village, Rantau Panjang Subdistrict, Ogan Ilir Regency (2) to analyze the factors that influence the household consumption expenditure of swamp rice farmers in Arisan Deras Village Rantau Panjang Subdistrict Ogan Ilir Regency. The research was conducted in May 2023 with a total of 40 farmer households with the criteria that their main livelihood is to be a wetland rice farmer. Data collection methods used survey and interview methods with the help of questionnaires. The results showed that the consumption pattern or consumption expenditure of households of wetland rice farmers in Arisan Deras Village was dominated by food expenditure, with the proportion of food expenditure amounting to 56.08% and the proportion of non-food expenditure amounting to 43.92% each year. Factors that have a significant effect on the consumption expenditure of farmer households are household income and the number of family members, while the level of education of housewives has no significant effect.

Abstract

The aims of this research are (1) Analyzing changes in the economic conditions of irrigated rice field farmers during and after the Covid-19 pandemic in Karang Tengah Village , (2) Analyzing the feasibility of farming irrigated rice farmers during and after the Covid-19 pandemic in Karang Tengah Village. The research results showed that there were significant changes in the economic conditions of rice field farmers during and after the Covid-19 pandemic in Karang Tengah Village, which occurred in production costs which increased by 20.83 percent after the Covid-19 pandemic. Household income increased by 36.71 percent after the Covid-19 pandemic. Farmer household consumption expenditure increased by 27.38 percent per year after the pandemic compared to during the Covid-19 pandemic. The area of cultivated land and the total allocation of working time in rice farming during and after the Covid-19 pandemic did not experience significant changes. The feasibility of farming carried out by irrigated rice field farmers during and after the Covid-19 pandemic in Karang Tengah Village is feasible. Abstract

Cooking oil is one of the basic ingredients which plays a very important role in meeting household consumption needs. Currently, cooking oil is marketed in two forms, namely in bulk and in packages with certain brands/labels. Even though packaged cooking oil has many advantages and is increasingly common in Indralaya Indah Village, the demand for bulk cooking oil is still higher compared to packaged cooking oil. The objectives of this research are: (1) to analyze the differences in the characteristics of packaged cooking oil and bulk cooking oil in Indralaya Indah Village, Ogan Ilir Regency; (2) to analyze the determinant factors for packaged cooking oil and bulk cooking oil in Indralaya Indah Village, Ogan Ilir Regency (3) to describe the behavior of using and handling packaged cooking oil waste by households in Indralaya Indah Village, Ogan Ilir Regency. This research was carried out in December in Indralaya Indah Village, Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency. The research method used was a survey with a sample of 38 households. Data were processed using multiple linear regression analysis, independent t test and descriptive analysis. The results of this research show that: (1) the characteristics of cooking oil consumers obtained from this research, namely consumers aged 36-45 years, the dominant gender is female, the education level is predominantly high school level, and have a relatively high income of between Rp. 2,500,000 – 3,500,000, and have < 4 family members. Meanwhile, the significant differences in the characteristics of bulk cooking oil and packaged cooking oil are education, number of family members and employment; (2) factors that influence consumer demand for cooking oil per month in Indralaya Indah Subdistrict are education, income and health awareness; (3) the behavior of using cooking oil in Indralaya Indah Subdistrict, Ogan Ilir Regency, namely that on average, 358 milliliters of cooking oil is used for one cooking and it is immediately thrown into the drain of each respondent's house without processing it first. Abstract

Indonesia is known as an agricultural country that prioritizes the agrarian sector with the majority of the Indonesian population working as farmers. Musi Rawas Regency is a producer of food commodities and has a large contribution to the agricultural sector in South Sumatra. This research aims to analyze the mechanism of selling rice harvests, to compare the sales and consumption of rice harvests, and to analyze the factors influencing farmers' decisions to sell rice harvests in Musi Rawas Regency, South Sumatra. The study was conducted in Megang Sakti II Village with rice farmer respondents who met specified criteria, using interview and questionnaire methods, and sample selection through purposive sampling technique. The results indicate that the mechanism for selling rice harvests is in the form of dried milled rice, with a milling payment system deducting 10% from the total rice, and the entire sales are marketed to middlemen. The average sale of rice harvests is 77.48%, with a consumption percentage of 22.52%. The independent variables that significantly influence farmers' decisions to market rice harvests in Megang Sakti II Village are production result with a value of 0,040 and household income with a value of 0,025.
