Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang peningkatan kemampuan berpikir peserta didik dalam pembelajaran agama Islam melalui metode inkuiri di kelas VII-C SMPN 2 Samarang Garut. Kemampuan berpikir adalah kegiatan yang menuntut peserta didik untuk berperan aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Namun, kenyataanya kemampuan berpikir peserta didik di kelas VII-C SMPN 2 Samarang Garut masih tergolong rendah., hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil observasi pra penelitian. Peserta didik yang menunjukkan kemamapuan berpikir sudah efektif hanya sekitar 36% dari 36 peserta didik sehingga diperlukan stimulus salah satunya dengan menggunakan metode yaitu metode inkuiri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah terdeskripsikannya signifikasi penerapan metode inkuiri untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir peserta didik dalam pembelajaran agama Islam di kelas VII-C SMPN 2 Samarang Garut.  Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, angket, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam PTK hanya mengggunakan rumus-rumus statistik sederhana untuk mencari nilai rara-rata dan persentase ketuntasan belajar.  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus maka terjadi peningkatan kemampuan berpikir pada siklus I menjadi 58%, kemudian mengalami peningkatan lagi pada siklus II menjadi 92%. Dapat dipahami bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir peserta didik dengan signifikasi sebesar 22% dari pra siklus ke siklus I dan sebesar 34% dari siklus I ke siklus II. Maka, secara keseluruhan terdapat peningkatan aktivitas belajar peserta didik dengan signifikasi sebesar 56% dari pra siklus hingga siklus II  dikatakan berhasil dengan kualifikasi baik. Abstract

This study discusses increasing learning interest through the implementation of crossword puzzles at MTs. An-Nashr. Strong and positive learning interest in the learning process is characterized by curiosity, interest, and enjoyment in learning. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of implementing crossword puzzles in increasing student learning interest. The research method used is the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. Research instruments are tools for collecting data, which also reflect the implementation techniques. Without the right instruments, research results will not be optimal. Therefore, the research instruments used in Classroom Action Research (CAR) include questionnaires and observation sheets. The Classroom Action Research that the researcher will conduct will use the Kemmis & McTaggart model. The results of the study indicate that the application of crossword puzzle media can significantly increase student learning interest. Crossword media can be an alternative to increase student learning interest and can be used as an effective learning strategy. The total increase that occurred from the pre-cycle to the second cycle was 52.34% to 89.1%. Thus, it can be concluded that crossword puzzle media can increase student learning interest.  Keywords: Crossword Puzzle Media, Learning Interest, SKI

Abstract

Kemampuan kognitif peserta didik mencakup keterampilan berpikir, memahami, mengingat, menganalisis, mengevaluasi, dan mencipta. Namun, kemampuan kognitif peserta didik Fase F di MAN 1 Garut terhadap materi antikekerasan seksual masih tergolong rendah dengan hasil tes awal menunjukkan 41,67% dari 36 peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan media pembelajaran yang menarik dan efektif, salah satunya poster digital yang mampu menyampaikan pesan secara singkat, jelas, dan menarik melalui perpaduan teks dan visual. Media ini diharapkan dapat membantu peserta didik memahami dan menginternalisasi nilai-nilai Islam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: Mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan kognitif peserta didik pada materi al-qur’an hadist tentang antikekerasan seksual melalui poster digital. Penelitian menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui, tes, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan statistik sederhana seperti nilai rata-rata dan persentase ketuntasan belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan: siklus I dengan ketuntasan 66,67% dan siklus II mencapai 100%. Ini membuktikan bahwa poster digital efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif peserta didik, terutama dalam materi sensitif seperti antikekerasan seksual. Abstract

This study is motivated by the challenges of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SMK Ciledug Garut, which remains largely theoretical, less interactive, and has not fully succeeded in enhancing student engagement and comprehension. The emergence of artificial intelligence tools such as ChatGPT offers a new approach to learning, particularly in the field of PAI, which has rarely been explored through digital innovation. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of ChatGPT as a learning aid in PAI for Phase E, with a specific focus on improving conceptual understanding, student interaction, and the attractiveness of learning materials.A qualitative research approach was employed, using observations, interviews, and document analysis as data collection techniques. Observations were conducted to examine the implementation of ChatGPT in the classroom, interviews with teachers and students explored their experiences, and document analysis was used to assess its impact on learning outcomes.The findings reveal that ChatGPT enhances students’ comprehension of PAI materials, increases active participation, and fosters a more engaging classroom environment. However, challenges such as limited internet access and the necessity of teacher guidance remain crucial factors influencing its effectiveness.In conclusion, this study highlights the significant potential of ChatGPT as an educational innovation in PAI learning. Abstract

Phase F (XI TKJ) at Musaddadiyah Vocational School has several students who are not yet aware of Perplexity AI as a technological tool to aid in the completion of assignments. The assignments from the PAI subject they receive mostly still consist of taking notes and working on Student Worksheets (LKS). As the digital era continues to develop, the utilization of technology, especially AI (Artificial Intelligence), becomes increasingly important in the field of education. Technology is something that can assist people around the world in daily activities, both in work and education. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach. The qualitative approach is one of the important methods for understanding a social phenomenon and the individual perspectives of those being studied. The method used in this study is descriptive research method utilizing a qualitative approach. The data collection procedures used were interviews, observations, and documentation. The data sources used were primary data sources and secondary data sources. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique went through four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research results show that the use of the Perplexity AI application in the performance of student tasks in PAI subjects at SMK Ciledug Al-Musaddadiyah is very beneficial, not only in assisting independent tasks but also in enhancing knowledge, understanding, and the rapid search for information on various topics, although there are negative impacts associated with the Perplexity AI application. Abstract

Education is a process of shaping behavior and ethics toward a better life, while morality reflects the character within a person’s soul. Instilling morality from an early age is very important due to the increasing number of rule violations among students, whether in attitudes, speech, or actions that are inconsistent with moral values. At SMK Ma’arif Sukawening Garut, students’ understanding of the material “Commendable Morals and Reprehensible Morals” was still low, reaching only 40.6% in the pre-cycle stage. This condition indicates the need for more innovative learning strategies to improve students’ comprehension. This study aims to describe the improvement of students’ understanding of the material in PAI subjects through assessments assisted by the Quizizz application in phase E. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) with qualitative and quantitative approaches, including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Quantitative data were collected through learning achievement tests, while qualitative data were obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation to strengthen the findings. The results showed an increase in students’ understanding from 40.6% in the pre-cycle (fair category), to 71.9% in cycle I (good category), and 91.6% in cycle II (very good category). Thus, there was a significant improvement of 51%. Quizizz-based assessments proved highly effective in enhancing students’ understanding, motivation, and engagement in learning morals.  Keywords: quizizz assessment, students’ understanding, islamic religious education

Abstract

Creating a conducive and well-maintained school environment to support learning and foster an environmentally conscious character. Observations at Al-Hikmah Tarogong Kaler Junior High School, Garut, showed that students did not fully understand the concept of environmental conservation, were inconsistent in their environmental stewardship, and lacked skills in environmental maintenance practices. This situation demonstrates the need for an innovative learning model that not only enhances knowledge but also fosters active and independent student attitudes and skills. Previous research has shown that project-based learning effectively improves learning outcomes focused on Mathematics. The novelty of this research lies in the application of project-based learning to Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects within the Independent Curriculum, emphasizing cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. The application of project-based learning with the theme "Conserving Nature and Protecting Life" in PAI Phase D aims to develop cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects in an integrated manner. The method used was descriptive quantitative with 70 students as respondents. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires, analyzed using multiple linear regression using SPSS version 26. The results showed that project-based learning had a 33% effect on cognitive learning outcomes, a 16.4% effect on affective learning outcomes, and a 25.4% effect on psychomotor learning outcomes. This model effectively improves learning outcomes while fostering environmental awareness in accordance with the principles of the Independent Curriculum.  Keywords: Project-Based Learning, Student Learning Outcomes, Islamic Religious Education

Abstract

Fenomena dekadensi moral yang marak di berbagai kalangan, termasuk generasi muda, menunjukkan bahwa sistem pendidikan formal belum sepenuhnya berhasil dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik secara utuh. Pendidikan karakter yang seimbang antara aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor menjadi kebutuhan mendesak dalam dunia pendidikan, khususnya pendidikan Islam. Salah satu rujukan penting dalam khazanah pendidikan karakter Islam klasik adalah kitab Al-Akhlaq Lil Banin karya Syaikh Umar Al-Baradja. Kitab ini telah digunakan secara luas di pesantren dan madrasah diniyah sejak tahun 1950-an sebagai rujukan utama dalam pengajaran akhlak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam konsep pendidikan karakter menurut perspektif Syaikh Umar Al-Baradja sebagaimana tertuang dalam kitab tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data primer diperoleh langsung dari isi kitab Al-Akhlaq Lil Banin, sedangkan data sekunder berasal dari literatur yang relevan tentang pendidikan Islam, karakter, dan akhlak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep pendidikan karakter menurut Syaikh Umar mencakup pembinaan akhlak kepada Allah SWT, sesama manusia (orang tua, guru, teman, dan tetangga), serta terhadap lingkungan. Nilai-nilai utama yang dikedepankan dalam kitab ini meliputi kejujuran, tanggung jawab, sopan santun, kedisiplinan, empati sosial, serta kebiasaan ibadah yang konsisten. Pembentukan karakter tidak dilakukan secara instan, tetapi melalui proses pembiasaan, keteladanan, dan penginternalisasian nilai-nilai secara terus-menerus sejak usia dini. Relevansi konsep ini sangat tinggi dalam menghadapi tantangan globalisasi yang sering kali mengikis nilai-nilai moral dalam kehidupan generasi muda. Dengan demikian, gagasan pendidikan karakter dari kitab Al-Akhlaq Lil Banin dapat dijadikan salah satu alternatif model pendidikan karakter Islami yang aplikatif dan kontekstual dalam sistem pendidikan modern Kata kunci: pendidikan karakter, akhlak, Syaikh Umar Al-Baradja, Al-Akhlaq Lil Banin, pendidikan Islam

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education subjects in supporting the formation of religious character in phase E students at SMA Ciledug Garut. Character issues among students are the main background of this study, considering the importance of religious values in supporting a faithful and noble personality. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data sources in this study consist of primary data obtained from interviews and observations, as well as secondary data in the form of relevant documents and literature. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education learning is quite effective in supporting the formation of religious character in students. Islamic Religious Education teachers are able to integrate religious values into learning and school activities. Students show improvements in terms of religious discipline, honesty, and concern for others. However, there are still obstacles such as the lack of active participation in some lessons. The Independent Curriculum provides flexible space for teachers and schools to foster religious character contextually.Keywords: Independent Curriculum, Islamic Religious Education, Religious Character of Phase E Students

Abstract

One of the problems facing the world of education today is the weakness of the learning process. During the learning process, students are not encouraged to develop their thinking skills. The learning process in the classroom is directed at children's ability to memorize information. Children's brains are forced to remember and accumulate various information and are required to understand the information they remember and relate it to everyday life. The impact is that when students have completed their studies, they are skilled in theory, but poor in application. The strategies or methods used by educators in teaching Islamic Religious Education are very effective for improving Islamic Religious Education learning. One approach that is considered effective is the discussion method. The purpose of this study is to describe the process of applying the discussion method to understand the rukhsah material in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects using the Merdeka curriculum approach. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method to determine the application of the discussion method in understanding the material of rukshsah. Therefore, this study focuses on the application of the discussion method in understanding the material of rukshsah in Islamic Religious Education (PAI). The results of the study on the application of the discussion method in the PAI subject of Rukshsah. The application of the discussion method effectively increases students' understanding of the concept of rukshsah in worship. Through discussions, students can exchange ideas, express opinions and explore concrete examples of forms of rukshsah such as relief in prayer, fasting, salary and so on according to certain conditions.Keywords: Discussion Method, Islamic Education Subject
