Abstract

Critical thinking is essential in education as it enhances students' cognitive abilities during learning activities. However, critical thinking has not yet become a prevalent habit among students, resulting in some students being passive in the learning process, hesitant to express opinions, or ask questions. The social inquiry learning model in Islamic Education subjects is an approach that adapts to students' experiences, enabling them to find answers independently. Consequently, the social inquiry learning model can foster critical thinking in students. The purpose of this research is to describe the impact of the social inquiry learning model in Islamic Education subjects on the development of students' critical thinking skills. This will help determine the extent of the relationship between the application of the social inquiry learning model in Islamic Education subjects (Variable X) and the development of students' critical thinking skills (Variable Y). The method used in this research is the inferential quantitative method, which involves collecting data or information about the phenomenon being studied. Data collection techniques include questionnaires distributed to 25 respondents, observations, and documentation studies. Data processing was conducted through statistical data analysis. The research results show that the social inquiry learning model in Islamic Education subjects achieved a score of 4.056, placing it within the 3.01-4.00 interval range, classified as good. Meanwhile, the development of students' critical thinking skills had an average score of 3.976, also within the 3.01-4.00 interval range, classified as good. Based on statistical tests, there is an influence of the social inquiry learning model in Islamic Education subjects at 38.59%, while other factors influencing students' critical thinking skills account for 61.41% but were not examined in this study. Abstract

Self-awareness is crucial in the learning process; however, it often presents challenges. This issue is evident as students frequently lack the ability to recognize their own feelings and behaviors, identify their strengths and weaknesses, demonstrate independence, make appropriate decisions, and effectively express their thoughts, feelings, opinions, and beliefs. Consequently, these students often lack the motivation to engage in more effective learning processes. The Awareness Training Learning Model is proposed as an effective solution to these problems. The purpose of this study is to describe the impact of applying the Awareness Training Learning Model in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) on students' self-awareness at SMK Ciledug Al-Musaddadiyah Garut. This research employs a quantitative descriptive approach. Data collection methods included observation, documentation review, and questionnaires distributed to 27 students who served as the study sample. Data analysis was performed using statistical analysis techniques. The results show that the students' self-awareness had an average score of 4.07, placing it within the interval range of 4.01-5.00, which falls under the "Very Good" category. This indicates a significant improvement in self-awareness after the teachers implemented this model in the learning activities. Similarly, the application of the Awareness Training Learning Model in the PAI subject had an average score of 4.11, also in the "Very Good" category. This demonstrates that this model effectively enhances students' self-awareness in learning. Statistical tests indicate that the application of the Awareness Training Learning Model in PAI has a significant influence, accounting for 79.22% of the improvement in students' self-awareness, while other variables not investigated account for the remaining 20.78%. Abstract

Tahkim holds an important position in the history of Islamic politics. To date, the event of tahkim has often been presented from non-educational perspectives, such as politics, history, and culture. This research aims to offer a new approach by presenting the history of the tahkim event from the perspective of educational values. The objective of this study is to describe the educational values found in the tahkim event, which will then be presented within the framework of Islamic education studies. The method used is library research, followed by reading analysis using content analysis. In the data collection process, a descriptive-analytical approach was taken from various sources such as books, articles, and educational journals that are relevant to the content of this article. The research findings focus on four educational values in the tahkim event: religious values, Islamic brotherhood (ukhuwah Islamiyyah), tolerance, and morality. When linked to Islamic educational science, these educational values aim to raise human awareness, helping individuals grow and develop into religious, compassionate, tolerant, morally upright, and devoted worshippers of Allah SWT. Abstract

Melihat kenyataan saat ini di lingkungan sekolah bahwa interaksi murid terhadap guru banyak terjadi hal yang dianggap kurang harmonis, yaitu murid kurang menghormati guru, murid tidak menghargai gurunya, murid menyepelekan ilmu dari gurunya. Dalam mendidik anak tentunya butuh formula yang tepat. Karena hal tersebutlah peneliti tertarik untuk meneliti kitab Al-Akhlak Lil-Banin Jilid I yang pernah peneliti dapatkan pelajarannya di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Meskipun menggunakan bahasa Arab, kitab Al-Akhlak Lil-Banin jilid I bahasanya ringan dan sederhana sehingga mudah dipahami. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah terdeskripsinya nilai-nilai pendidikan dalam kitab Al-Akhlak Lil Banin tentang interaksi murid terhadap guru tersebut, yang kemudian nilai-nilai pendidikan tersebut disajikan dengan sudut pandang kajian ilmu pendidikan Islam. Metode yang digunakan bersifat deskriptif kualitatif yaitu penelitian yang hanya menggambarkan, memaparkan dan melaporkan suatu keadaan dari objek penelitian. Penelitian jenis ini hanya ditujukan untuk melukiskan, menggambarkan dan melaporkan kenyataan-kenyataan yang terfokus pada nilai-nilai pendidikan dalam kitab Al-Akhlak Lil-Banin tentang interaksi murid terhadap guru yang ditinjau dari ilmu pendidikan Islam Dari hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, peneliti menemukan dan memfokuskan terhadap empat nilai-nilai pendidikan dalam kitab Al-Akhlak Lil-Banin tentang interaksi murid terhadap guru, yaitu nilai taat, disiplin, toleransi, mandiri. Nilai pendidikan tersebut bila dihubungkan dengan ilmu pendidikan Islam memiliki tujuan menumbuhkan kesadaran murid, agar mereka tumbuh dan berkembang menjadi manusia yang taat, disiplin, toleran, mandiri dalam kehidupan.

Abstract

Islamic education, in terms of quality, still needs to improve to align with the times and emphasize character formation in accordance with the values embedded in religious culture, particularly in shaping the character of students. The research problem addressed in this study is: What are the Educational Values of the Scout's Dasa Dharma within the Context of Islamic Education? Based on this formulation, the objective of this research is to understand the Educational Values of the Scout's Dasa Dharma within the Context of Islamic Education. The research method employed is qualitative and is based on library research, involving the examination of written sources relevant to the research topic. The findings of the study conclude that the educational values of the Scout's Dasa Dharma can significantly contribute to the development of character education aimed at shaping students' thought patterns, attitudes, and behaviors, so that they become individuals with noble character, high moral standards, and a sense of responsibility in their lives. These values can cultivate character education in students, guiding them to refrain from actions that could be harmful to themselves and their surroundings. Consequently, the Islamic character values formed are always relevant to the challenges of the times, as Islamic values are universal and can be embraced by all of humanity. Abstract

Today the education system implemented by Indonesia in schools is an adoption of the western education system, so that in developing the character of students it is still far from forming human character in the values ​​contained in the Qur'an and Sunnah, especially in the application of the concept of humanistic education. . This study aims to identify and describe the concept of Humanistic Education in the Qur'an Surah Al-Hujurat Verse 13 of the Study of Islamic Education. This research is based on a framework of thought or theory which states that Humanistic Education is education that teaches that every human being is different from one another which aims to humanize humans. This research is a type of library research, namely by conducting research on the interpretation of the commentators of Q.S Al-Hujurat verse 13 and relevant written sources on the research topic being studied. The research method used is a qualitative research method by focusing on analyzing the content of the Qur'an Surah Al-Hujurat Verse 13 and the contents of the texts of books. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the humanistic education of Q.S Al-Hujurat Verse 13 within the framework of Islamic Education is a unique, independent, and creative human education system. Seeing humans as creatures created by God with certain qualities, and building human character in humans who respect human dignity as the most perfect creature. Abstract

The process of memorizing the Qur'an can be expedited and enhanced through the study of Qur'anic recitation (tahsin), as tahsin encourages and enables students to read and memorize the Qur'an accurately. Students who struggle with reading, memorizing, and understanding the vocabulary of the Qur'an may find it challenging to apply tahsin. The Kauny Quantum Memory method is an approach designed to address students' difficulties in applying tahsin during Qur'anic memorization. The objectives of this research are: 1) to implement the Kauny Quantum Memory method for seventh-grade students at SMP IT Aminul Ummah; 2) to improve Qur'anic recitation skills (tahsin); 3) to assess the impact of the Kauny Quantum Memory method on the improvement of Qur'anic recitation skills among seventh-grade students at SMP IT Aminul Ummah. The research method used in this study is descriptive quantitative, involving the collection of data or information regarding the phenomenon under investigation. Data collection techniques include observation, literature review, questionnaires, and data processing through statistical analysis. The results indicate that the Kauny Quantum Memory method is classified as effective. Similarly, the improvement in Qur'anic recitation skills is also classified as effective. Statistical tests show that there is a significant influence between the Kauny Quantum Memory method and the improvement of Qur'anic recitation skills. Abstract

Islamic Religious Education and Moral Education are integral parts of the educational system in Indonesia. These subjects are essential for imparting knowledge, shaping attitudes, personality, and skills of students in practicing Islamic teachings, and are taught at all educational levels. This study addresses the following research questions: (1) How is Islamic Religious Education and Moral Education taught in the 11th grade of the Accounting and Finance (AKL) program at SMK Ciledug Al-Musaddadiyah Garut? (2) What is the moral character of students in the Islamic Religious Education and Moral Education classes in the 11th grade of the AKL program at SMK Ciledug Al-Musaddadiyah Garut? (3) What is the impact of Islamic Religious Education and Moral Education on the moral character development of students in the 11th grade of the AKL program at SMK Ciledug Al-Musaddadiyah Garut? Based on these questions, the objectives of this research are: (1) To understand how Islamic Religious Education and Moral Education are conducted in the 11th grade of the AKL program at SMK Ciledug Al-Musaddadiyah Garut. Abstract

The presence of rule violations at SDN 2 Rancabango prompted this research. Additionally, the inconsistent enforcement of school regulations has led to numerous infractions by students. This study aims to understand the implementation of school rules through the use of rewards and punishments in fostering student discipline at SDN 2 Rancabango, Tarogong Kaler District, Garut Regency. The research method used is field research with a qualitative descriptive approach, which involves working with data by recording, collecting, organizing, searching for patterns, identifying important aspects, and analyzing them in written form. Based on observations, interviews, and documentation, it can be concluded that the implementation of school rules, along with the use of rewards and punishments, impacts student discipline at SDN 2 Rancabango. Effective reward systems can motivate students to adhere to school regulations. Every student appreciates rewards, making them a powerful method to ensure compliance with school rules. Abstract

Critical thinking is a manifestation of learning behavior, particularly in relation to problem-solving. In critical thinking, students are required to use cognitive abilities to test the effectiveness of their thinking in solving problems and addressing errors or deficiencies. As we know, the sorogan and wetonan methods are traditional methods that have persisted amidst the emergence of various modern teaching methods today. Therefore, the sorogan and wetonan teaching methods can promote critical thinking in students. The objective of this research is to describe the influence of the application of the sorogan and wetonan methods on students' critical thinking skills. This will help to understand the relationship between the application of the sorogan and wetonan methods (Variable X) and critical thinking (Variable Y). The research method used is descriptive quantitative, involving the collection of data or information about the phenomenon under study. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and the distribution of questionnaires to 23 respondents. Data processing is conducted through statistical data analysis. The results indicate that the sorogan and wetonan methods have an average score of 40.9, falling within the interval range above 39, classified as very high. Meanwhile, the students' critical thinking ability has an average score of 41.7, also within the interval range above 39, classified as very high. Statistical tests show a significant influence of the sorogan and wetonan methods on students' critical thinking ability, amounting to 59%, with the remaining 41% determined by other factors.
