Abstract

Each leader has a leadership style that is different tobe adapted to the work environment so as to avoidinternal conflicts between superiors and subordinates.No leadership style that has been attached since theman was still in the womb, but some are derived fromexperience and knowledge about leadership.In an era of democratization takes leaders who have ademocratic leadership style that promotes democraticvalues that exist so that the subordinate was given theopportunity to cooperate and coordinate withcolleagues in the organization.Keywords: Style Leadership and Democracy.

Abstract

This study was conducted to find out the Brand and Location of Consumer Decisions, this study uses quantitative methodswith associative approaches. In this study, the consumer population who shopped at self-service advanced with MMTCMedan. How to take samples in this study using probability sampling techniques using the accindental sampling method asmany as 96 respondents. Data analysis techniques use validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiplelinear regression analysis, t tests, F tests and coefficients of determination (R2) using spss version 20 applications.The result of the t variable t test of the Brand t calculated 5,509 > t table of 1,986 means that the brand affects consumerdecisions and the location variable t calculates by 1,693 < t the table of 1,986 means that location has very little influence onconsumer decisions. Test F brand variable and location F calculated by 27,992 > F table 3.09 shows that brands andlocations together influence consumer decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence motivation and organizational commitment partially and simultaneously onemployee performance at PT. Rifan Financindo Futures Medan, using this type of quantitative research. The result of thisstudy is that the partial motivation of the t-count value is -0.064 with the t-table value at a significant level = 5%, namely1.167, with a significant value of 0.949> 0.05, meaning that it has no significant effect. It also explains that motivation has nosignificant effect on employee performance at PT. Rifan Financindo Berjangka Medan or if it is related to Guilford's theory,the motivation variable is very weak in relation to employee performance. Partially, organizational commitment, thecalculated t value is 4.833 where the t table value at 5% is 1.167 which means it is positive, with a significant value of 0.000<0.005 which means it has a significant effect. This explains that organizational commitment has a positive and significanteffect on employee performance at PT. Rifan Financindo Berjangka Medan or if it is related to Guilford's theory, themotivation variable has a moderate relationship with the performance of employees at PT. Rifan Financindo Futures Medan.Based on the results of the study, the calculated F value was 13.146 with a significance value of 0.000. While the F table is3.13 at a significant level of 95% (a = 0.05), with that F count 13.146 > 3.13 which means that the independent variable hasan effect on the dependent variable. Thus, motivation and organizational commitment together have an influence onemployee performance.

Abstract

This research was conducted to: (1) Knowing the promotion of products at PT Matahari Department Store Medan Mall, (2)Knowing the price of products at PT Matahari Department Store Medan Mall, (3) Knowing together (simultaneous)promotions and prices against purchasing decisions at PT. Matahari Department Store Medan Mall. This research is adescriptive quantitative method that uses numbers, ranging from data collection, interpretation of the data and theappearance of the results. The population in this study was the customers of PT Matahari Department Store Medan Mallduring the research. The sample size of the study taken by 80 people was determined by the sample technique used in thisstudy, namely random sampling (simple random sample) sampling technique is named so because in sampling, researchers"mix" subjects in the population so that all subjects are considered the same and the data is collected using questionnaireswith a likert scale that has 5 alternative answers. The results of this study show that: (1) Promotions have a positive andsignificant influence on purchasing decisions on PT. Matahari Department Store Medan Mall by 44.1%. (2) The price willhave a positive and significant influence on the purchase decision of PT Matahari Department Store Medan Mall by 61.1%.(3) There is a positive influence between promotion and price on the purchase decision at PT Matahari Departemen StoreMedan Mall with a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.705. This means that 70.5% of its purchase decisions at PT MatahariDepartmen Store Medan Mall are affected by promotions and prices, while another 29.5 are determined by other variablesnot studied in this study.

Abstract

The method used in this study is quantitative with an associative approach. Sampling techniques in this study is probability sampling withsimple random sampling as many as 80 respondents. Data collection is done by disseminating questionnaires to respondents who areemployees of PT. Original Bird Nest Medan. Data analysis techniques use validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiplelinear regression analysis, t test, F test, and R2 determination coefficient test operated through SPSS 16 program. The results of thestudy on variable salaries obtained a calculated t value of 5,584 > t table of 2,000. This shows that partially there is an influence of salaryon employee performance, then the results of t test research on motivation variables obtained a calculated t value of 3,181 > t table2,000. This shows that motivation affects employee performance and collectively affects employee performance. The coefficient of R2determination of 0.565 results showed salary and motivation affected employee performance by 56.5% and the remaining 43.5% wasinfluenced by other variables not included in the study.

Abstract

This study was used to determine the financial performance of PT.. Mahaka Media Tbk. The focus of this research is on the 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018 financial statements, with financial ratios, namely liquidity ratios consisting of Quick Ratio Curent Ratio, and the Profitability Ratio consists of Return on Assets, and Return on Equity. The type of data used is secondary data and data sources using external data. The results of this study can be seen the overall liquidity ratio from 2014 to 2018 in a unhealthy state but the reduced level of liquidity for each year. The profitability ratio is very unhealthy, but decreases every year. Even though the financial statements decrease every year, PT.. Mahaka Media Tbk is still considered healthy and contributes positively to the success of its financial performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Brand Image and Product Quality on Eiger Product Purchase Decisions at Unimed's Eiger Store. The data collection method in this study used a questionnaire which was then processed using multiple linear regression analysis. The test used to test the research is a test of validity and reliability. Hypothesis test is by partial test (t) and stimulant test (f). The results of the analysis of this study resulted in Brand Image (X1) having a positive effect on Purchase Decisions (Y). With a value of tcount = 3.728 with a significance level of 0.001. While the variable Quality (X2) has a positive effect on Purchase Decisions (Y). With a value of tcount = 4.628 with a significance level of 0.000. The results of the analysis with the f test resulted that the Brand Image (X1) and Quality (X2) variables together had a positive effect on Purchase Decision (Y) with Fcount of 57.669.

Abstract

The earth, water and air contained in it are all natural resources that can be managed properly so that they can be used to meet the needs of people's lives so that the environment must be preserved. Lake Toba is one of the natural resources in Indonesia and there are several districts around Lake Toba where one of them is Samosir Regency which is on Samosir Island and surrounded by Lake Toba. The beauty of Lake Toba can be used as a source of income for the community and the area of Samosir Regency so that the environment must be preserved through environmental education and community discipline. As respondents in this study were the people around the tourist area in Samosir Regency who were taken randomly as many as 60 people. The results of the study explain that environmental education has an effect on concern for the environmental sustainability of Lake Toba by 16.63%, community discipline has an effect on concern for the environmental sustainability of Lake Toba by 23.76% and together that environmental education and community discipline have an effect on concern for the environmental sustainability of Lake Toba. Tioba by 45.37%.

Abstract

The research findings indicated that the t-test results for the marketing mix variables showed a calculated t-value of 6,378 > the tabulated t-value of 1,984. This indicates that the marketing mix significantly influences purchasing decisions on the shopee e-commerce platform in the Medan Perjuangan Subdistrict. On the other hand, the t-test results for the online review variabel showed a calculated t-value of -3,384 < 1,984, suggesting that online reviews have an influence on purchasing decisions in shopee e-commerce, but the influence is not statistically significant in the Medan Perjuangan Subdistrict. Furthermore, the combined effect of marketing mix and online reviews, as indicated by the F-test (calculated F-value of 20,488 > tabulate F-value of 3.09), signifies a significant joint influence on purchasing decisions. The coefficient of determination (R2) test resulted in a value of 41.2%, indicating the proportion of variance explained by the model.
