Abstract

This study aims to explore the process of creating daily logbooks for contract employees at the Library and Archives Department of Samarinda City and to assess the practicality of these logbooks. The research findings indicate that the implementation of an E-logbook for the daily activities of contract employees in the aforementioned department can be considered a significant innovation in human resource management. This E-logbook facilitates the easy and efficient recording and tracking of daily employee activities. Furthermore, the E-logbook proves instrumental in managing the daily tasks of contract employees, enhancing accountability, and aiding in more informed decision-making within the company or organization.

Abstract

Communicating is important for individuals to be able to interact with other humans. Communication makes it easier for humans to convey ideas, ideas, messages, and so on. In communicating, humans create speech acts as a manifestation of the process of communication. In the study of psycholinguistics speech acts are also closely related to a person's psychological state. The surrounding environment and various nearby elements of course affect a person's development in the process of speaking since infancy. One of the obstacles can also be caused by limited physical conditions. For example in people with Down Syndrome. Most of people with this syndrome have difficulty pronouncing words, even speech delays. For this reason, in this discussion the author will discuss the stages of speech act development in children with Down Syndrome in accordance with psycholinguistic studies. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, namely to examine and describe speech acts in children with Down syndrome at the age of 11 years. Researchers obtained data through interviews using the face-to-face note-taking technique (CTS). The data used goes through the following stages: a.) Data processing; b.) results and discussion; c.) Conclusion.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of prayer on health. This research technique uses a literature review approach. A literature review is a description of literature related to a particular discussion found in scientific articles or books. The results of this research illustrate the benefits of the connection between prayer and health, where the prayer movement contains many aspects of relaxation so that it can relieve nervous tension that arises due to various pressures in a person's life, as well as reducing the anxiety that is being felt. Therefore, we as Muslims must be more active and enthusiastic in carrying out prayer solemnly, because in prayer our soul and body focus on one central point in which we believe, namely Allah. It is even explained in Q.s. Al-An'am: 79; "Indeed, I turn my face to Him (God) who created all the heavens and the earth, in Hanif and submission (Muslim), and I am not among those who are polytheists.

Abstract

Education is a fundamental human right, yet numerous children, particularly orphans and underprivileged youth, still lack access to proper education. Ministry of Education and Culture data for the 2022/2023 academic year highlights a significant dropout rate across various education levels, primarily due to economic factors. To assist orphans and underprivileged individuals, Yauma Palmerah Orphanage operates several social service programs devoted to education. This study examines social services in education and the factors that facilitate or hinder these services. Field research with a descriptive qualitative analysis approach was conducted, selecting five informants through purposive sampling. The findings demonstrate that Panti Yauma Palmerah has a significant role in providing social services for the educational needs of underprivileged orphans. Yauma Orphanage provides social services to meet the educational needs of its foster children, including the development of academic potential, psychological potential, and social potential. Supporting and inhibiting factors are also present. Supporting factors include the creativity of administrators and teachers, the motivation of children and donors, appreciation, and outside teaching staff.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of gadget use on the emotional development of adolescents. The research method used is Literature Review or literature review with descriptive analysis. Gadgets, as modern electronic media, have become an integral part of teenagers' daily lives. However, excessive use of gadgets can cause emotional changes, social isolation, and negative impacts on teenagers' academic performance. Gadget addiction can also affect mental health, with symptoms of anxiety and depression as possible impacts. Parents and families need to monitor and guide teenagers in using gadgets wisely to ensure a healthy balance between technology and real life. The research results show that excessive use of gadgets can cause emotional instability, social isolation, and impaired academic performance in adolescents. In conclusion, it is important to monitor teenagers' gadget use in order to maximize the positive benefits without compromising their emotional and social well-being.

Abstract

One of the successes of educational institutions lies in the precision of an educational manager in empowering and placing educators and educational staff according to their competencies. This research aims to obtain comprehensive information about the empowerment and organization of educators and educational staff at Persis Lempong Islamic Junior High School in Garut. This qualitative descriptive research involves data sources such as the School Principal, Educators (Teachers), Educational Staff, and other sources supporting the research. Data collection procedures include observation, in-depth and structured interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out through the processes of reduction, display, and verification. The research results indicate that the empowerment and organization of educators and educational staff are divided into: (a) Management of Educators and Educational Staff at MTs Persis Lempong – Garut, including: 1) Planning of Educators and Educational Staff, 2) Organization of Educators and Educational Staff, 3) Empowerment of Educators and Educational Staff, 4) Evaluation of Educators and Educational Staff. And (b) Empowerment or Development Programs for Educators and Educational Staff at MTs Persis Lempong – Garut.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how parental involvement influences the provision of guidance and counseling consultation services. Family is the first and most important social environment for a child. Parental guidance, love, and supervision can contribute to the development of children's self-confidence and academic success. To deal with children's problems effectively, counselors, educators and parents must work synergistically. An additional strategy to encourage this collaboration is to offer parent consultation services. This can help parents strengthen their bonds with their children, offer wise guidance, and realize the impact of love on family growth. To increase collaboration between counselors, educators and parents in dealing with children's problems, it can be concluded that parent consultation services are an important strategy.

Abstract

Observation is a process of systematic observation of human activities and physical settings where these activities take place continuously from a natural locus of activity to produce facts. This research uses a qualitative approach to describe and explain the choice of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) pre-teacher observation method. Through interviews with 10 pre-teaching students, the results show a variety of views regarding observation methods. In general, participant observation dominates as the method that is considered the most effective, because it provides an in-depth understanding of social interactions and group dynamics. Although structural and audio-visual observations receive support, direct involvement in classroom activities is considered to provide a more comprehensive understanding. The research results provide valuable insights for English language education practitioners. In conclusion, participant observation is the most relevant method for EFL pre-teaching analysis. Research supports the selection of observation methods that are appropriate to the context and research objectives to ensure the validity and relevance of observation results. Suggestions for further research include considering more specific observation methods, addressing the potential influence of observers in participant observation, and developing more contextual measurement instruments.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of memorising the Qur'an and to determine whether or not there is an effect of memorising the Qur'an on Spiritual Intelligence. The research method is Quantitative with the type of case study by maximising Questionnaire Instruments, Interviews, Observation, and Documentation with a sample size of 42 Tahasus students at Mandrasah Aliyah Tarbiyatut Tholabah Lamongan. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence between memorising the Quran and Spiritual Intelligence. Spiritual Intelligence (Y) is influenced by the variable of memorising the Quran (X) by 62.60%, and the remaining 37.40% is influenced by other variables. Based on the magnitude of the effect of memorising the Quran on the Spiritual Intelligence variable, it proves that the factor of memorising the Quran is strong enough to predict Spiritual Intelligence.

Abstract

This research aims to describe or explain the literature review regarding the importance of strategic management in improving the quality of education. This research method uses a qualitative research method using an observation, interview, documentation and literature study approach or based on literature review through book reviews and journals. The research steps start from collecting articles, reducing artcles, discussing and concluding. The research results show that the importance of strategic management in improving the quality of education can have a positive influence on the educational institution itself. Improving the quality of education will of course have an impact on graduates from these schools. Through strategic management, future opportunities can be expanded and realized risks can be minimized. Strategic management can only be achieved if all parties have a direct interest in the school such as school administrators, parents, teachers and staff involved.
