Abstract

This study is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in Islamic Religious Education at SD Negeri 058101 Sumber Jaya, attributed to less varied teaching methods that fail to engage students effectively. The aim of this research is to explore and analyze the implementation of the Discovery Learning model in enhancing students' learning outcomes. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, with 26 students as subjects. Data collection was carried out through tests and observations. The results showed a significant improvement in students' learning outcomes, with the completion percentage rising from 45.83% in the pre-cycle to 79.16% in Cycle I, and reaching 91.66% in Cycle II. The application of the Discovery Learning model proved effective in increasing student engagement and understanding of the material, as well as helping them develop critical and reflective thinking skills. This study concludes that the implementation of this learning model can serve as an effective strategy for enhancing the quality of education in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the integration of Qur’anic and Hadith values in the leadership of the headmaster at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Bustanul Ulum Banyuanyar Probolinggo. In the context of Islamic education, leadership based on Qur’anic and Hadith values is crucial for shaping character and improving the quality of education. The research method used in this study is a qualitative approach with techniques such as interviews, observations, and documentation to collect data. The findings show that the headmaster applies Qur’anic and Hadith values in various aspects of leadership, such as decision-making, teacher and student development, and management of madrasah activities. Values such as justice, trustworthiness, wisdom, and compassion, which are found in the Qur'an and Hadith, serve as the main guidelines in carrying out leadership at the madrasah. Moreover, the implementation of these values also positively impacts the motivation and academic achievements of students, as well as strengthens ukhuwah islamiyah (Islamic brotherhood) among the madrasah community. This study concludes that the integration of Qur’anic and Hadith values in the leadership of the headmaster significantly improves the quality of education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Bustanul Ulum Banyuanyar Probolinggo.

Abstract

The ability to read the Quran is a crucial aspect of Islamic education, particularly in Indonesia, where many students face challenges in recognizing Arabic letters and applying tajwid rules. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the One Day One Ayat (ODOA) method in improving Quran reading skills among fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 054905 Paya Redas. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through direct observations, in-depth interviews with teachers, students, and parents, and analysis of students' learning outcomes. The findings indicate a significant improvement in students' reading abilities, with average test scores rising from 65 to 85 after several weeks of applying the ODOA method. Additionally, over 80% of students demonstrated a better understanding of the meaning of the verses studied. The study concludes that the ODOA method effectively enhances Quran reading skills and fosters a positive attitude toward religious learning, highlighting the importance of structured planning, implementation, and evaluation in educational practices.

Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of moral education in shaping students' character to respect teachers and parents at SD Negeri 056627 Kwala Sawit. The background highlights the need for integrating moral values into education to foster good character among students. The research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of various teaching methods and the involvement of parents in reinforcing these values. A qualitative approach was employed, utilizing direct observations, interviews with teachers, students, and parents, as well as document analysis related to the moral education curriculum. The findings indicate that while there is a significant improvement in students' attitudes towards respecting teachers and parents, challenges such as varying levels of understanding and collaboration between school and home persist. This research underscores the importance of a comprehensive approach in moral education to cultivate a generation with strong ethical foundations.

Abstract

The integration of technology in education has become essential, particularly in enhancing student engagement and learning outcomes. This study aimed to evaluate the impact of the Quizizz application on students' learning results in Islamic Education and Character Education at SMP Negeri 3 Bahorok. Employing a quantitative approach with a descriptive design, the research involved 22 students, utilizing questionnaires, observations, and documentation to collect data. The findings revealed a significant improvement in students' average test scores, rising from 65 to 85 after six weeks of implementing Quizizz, indicating its effectiveness in enhancing understanding and retention of material. Additionally, 82% of students achieved the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) post-implementation, compared to only 50% before. These results suggest that Quizizz significantly boosts student motivation and participation in learning

Abstract

In contemporary preaching, the use of media is very important and necessary to encourage Muslims to consistently listen to sermons. Felix Siauw and Hanan Attaki conduct their preaching through social media (microcelebrity). This research uses a descriptive qualitative method to answer the researcher's questions about the use of social media as a medium for preaching, the preaching style and messages of Felix Siauw and Hanan Attaki through social media, and the impact and influence of their preaching (microcelebrity) on their followers. The research results show that Felix Siauw and Hanan Attaki also have distinct preaching styles. For example, Felix Siauw focuses more on discussing current political and social issues, while Hanan Attaki emphasizes the development of an individual's spirituality, especially among the younger generation. Both have successfully attracted a large following through relevant content, engaging communication styles, and the use of technology

Abstract

The Sorkam Kingdom, located in the village of Sorkam, Tapanuli Tengah Regency, possesses a highly valuable historical heritage, namely the Cultural Heritage of the Ancient Islamic Tombs of the Sorkam Kings. This tomb complex has become an important legacy to be preserved in order to maintain the identity and self-esteem of the community in the context of the evolving culture. The purpose of this research is to understand the preservation efforts for the Ancient Islamic Tombs of the Sorkam Kings and to identify various challenges faced, along with the efforts to overcome them. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, with data collection techniques involving observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research indicate that various efforts have been made to sustain this site. Protection is carried out through maintenance and restoration activities, while development is directed through in-depth research. The utilization of the site is conducted through scientific, religious, and tourism approaches.

Abstract

Two Jakarta residents filed a lawsuit with the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia demanding the right to live without religion. They blamed the biodata on the KTP. They intend for the religion column on their KTP not to be filled in or left blank. They admit that they do not adhere to religions and beliefs that are recognized in Indonesia. On the grounds that they experience loss of constitutional rights because they have to fill in the religion column. They submitted a request for material review of article 61 paragraph (1) and article 64 paragraph (1) of Law Number 23 of 2006 concerning population administration (UU Adminduk) regarding population biodata. As well as discussing the implications for the protection of human rights. The decision being challenged relates to the interpretation of the constitution regarding freedom of religion and belief, as well as other civil rights that are considered ignored or limited. This study uses a normative juridical approach by studying statutory regulations, Constitutional Court decisions, and relevant legal doctrines. Apart from that, this study also involves a human rights perspective to see how courts consider the balance between public interests and individual rights. The aim of this study is to show that this lawsuit highlights the existence of gaps in the protection of fundamental constitutional rights, especially regarding the right to live without being forced to believe in certain beliefs.

Abstract

This study discusses the relationship between creative assessment and students' interest in learning Islamic Cultural History (SKI). Creative assessments, such as projects, portfolios, and simulations, offer a more engaging approach and encourage active student engagement than conventional methods. Through literature analysis, this study examines the concept of creative assessment, indicators of learning interest, and its application in SKI learning. The results of the study show that creative assessment is able to increase students' interest in learning by creating a dynamic and relevant learning atmosphere. In the context of SKI, methods such as historical dramas and visual projects help students understand Islamic values in depth while also increasing enthusiasm for the material. The conclusion of this study reveals a positive relationship between creative assessment and students' interest in learning, which contributes to the effectiveness of SKI learning.

Abstract

This study explores the methods of moral education based on the thematic approach from the Qur'an and Hadith, as well as its application in guiding human morality in daily life. The primary focus of the research is to uncover the moral values embedded in the Qur'an and Hadith and to understand the methods employed to instill these values. This study employs a qualitative approach with a literature review to systematically and practically describe the moral values. The findings reveal that the Qur'an and Hadith not only provide normative guidelines for morality but also offer various educational methods, such as exemplification, habituation, advice, storytelling, and experiential learning. This moral education is highly relevant in shaping an Islamic-character generation that is not only intellectually competent but also possesses high moral integrity. A strong moral education can serve as a solution to address various moral and social challenges in the modern era.
