Moringa (Moringa oleifera) is a multipurpose plant. Moringa can grow in lowlands and highlands up to 1,000 meters above sea level (m pl). The distribution of moringa spreads from Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, East Nusa Tenggara, and West Nusa Tenggara. The fairly high iron content in moringa leaves makes it believed to help prevent anemia. It can help relieve infections caused by bacteria. It can help increase antioxidant levels in women who have gone through menopause. Good for children who are malnourished and stunted. This community service activity was carried out by holding a cooking class. Participants in this activity were 27 people consisting of 15 pregnant women and 12 mothers of toddlers. Abstract

Burns are a form of tissue damage caused by contact with a heat or cold source. Indonesia is rich in herbal plants, including binahong leaves and chinese petai leaves which contain compounds for the angiogenesis process and collagen formation in the wound healing process. This study aims to determine the comparative effectiveness of binahong leaves (Anredera cordifolia) and petai cina leaves (Leucaena leucocephala) in the healing process of Grade II burns in white rats. This type of quasi-experimental research uses a post-test only design approach. The sample consisted of 18 white mice which were divided into the binahong leaf intervention group and the petai cina leaf intervention group. The sampling technique uses random sampling. The independent variable in this study was wound treatment using binahong leaves, while the dependent variable was the healing process for grade II burns. Data were analyzed using the Mann-Whitney Test with α=0.05, it was found that ρ=0.001 ≤ α(0.05) showed that there was an effect of using binahong leaves on the healing process of grade II burns with a difference of 2 days, it was faster to use binahong leaves because binahong leaves contains saponin and flavonoid compounds which can accelerate wound healing. The wound healing process using binahong leaves took an average of 11 days, while the wound healing process using the petai cina leaf group took an average of 13 days. Binahong leaves can be used as an alternative in wound care. Families can plant this plant as a family medicinal plant which can be used as herbal medicine.

Providing effective cough training interventions carried out within a period of 3 x 24 hours was able to reduce shortness of breath and cough effectively. Evaluation of the results was carried out over 3 x 24 hours, it was found that ineffective airway clearance was resolved with the criteria of effective cough being quite increased, oxygen saturation was increasing, sputum production was quite decreased, dyspnea was quite improved, respiratory frequency was quite improved, and breath sounds were quite improved. Non-pharmacological therapy, namely coughing exercises, can help improve airway clearance and is not effective when combined with other pharmacological therapies.

Abstract

Stunting is one of the problems that inhibits the development and growth of toddlers globally. Malnutrition at an early age will increase infant and child mortality rates, and cause sufferers to get sick easily and have less than optimal body posture as adults. One of the causes of stunting is the provision of Exclusive Breastfeeding. The purpose of this study was to describe the history of exclusive breastfeeding with the incidence of stunting in toddlers aged 7-24 months at the Campurdarat Health Center, Tulungagung Regency in 2023. The type of research used was descriptive research. The research variables were Exclusive Breastfeeding and Stunting Incidence. The study was conducted at the Campurdarat Health Center, Tulungagung Regency on October 6-12, 2023. The population of all toddlers aged 7-24 months at the Campurdarat Health Center, Tulungagung Regency was 986 respondents. The sampling technique used was proportional random sampling. With a sample size of 124 respondents. The results of the analysis showed that out of 72 respondents (58.1%) with a history of toddlers being given Exclusive Breastfeeding, all of them did not experience stunting. Meanwhile, in 52 respondents (41.9%) who were not given exclusive breastfeeding, 14 respondents (11.3%) experienced stunting, and 38 respondents (30.6%) were not stunted. Toddlers who do not get enough breast milk have poor nutritional intake which will hamper the growth and development of toddlers. Therefore, providing exclusive breastfeeding to babies can reduce the possibility of stunting in toddlers.
