Abstract

This study aims to identify the dominant types of defects, analyze the root causes of product defects, and propose quality improvement recommendations to reduce the defect rate of DTY products. The research employed the Six Sigma method using the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC) approach integrated with Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). In the Define phase, the production process was identified through a SIPOC diagram and the determination of Critical to Quality (CTQ) characteristics. The Measure phase included the calculation of defect proportions, control charts, Defects per Million Opportunities (DPMO), sigma level, and process capability. The Analyze phase utilized Pareto diagrams, Fishbone diagrams, and FMEA to identify the root causes of defects and determine improvement priorities based on the Risk Priority Number (RPN). The Improve phase generated improvement recommendations using the 5W+1H approach, while the Control phase provided recommendations to sustain the implemented improvements. The results showed that during the January–December 2025 period, total production reached 3,793,630 kg, with 116,148 kg of defective products, resulting in a defect rate of 3.06%, which exceeded the company's maximum tolerance limit of 1%. Pareto analysis identified four dominant defect types: Dyeing Reject (31.73%), Damaged (23.76%), DP Handling (23.25%), and Cutting (20.39%). The FMEA results indicated that the highest-priority risks were Dyeing Reject caused by misthreading and Cutting caused by material property problems, both with an RPN value of 300. The proposed improvements focus on enhancing operator competence through training, ensuring consistent implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), performing preventive machine maintenance, strengthening raw material quality control, improving workplace cleanliness, and enhancing production process supervision. The implementation of these recommendations is expected to reduce product defects, improve process capability, and support the achievement of product quality standards established by the company.

Abstract

CV Dwiputra Ihwa is a company that operates in the garment industry, specifically producing T-shirts based on special orders or in large quantities. From June 2025 to May 2026, the percentage of defective products was 7.6% out of a total production of 18,478 units. This situation leads to more rework, waste of raw materials, and lower production efficiency. This study aims to find out which type of defect is most common, look into why these defects happen, and figure out what improvements should be done first to make the T-shirt product better. The study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach through a case study. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and document study, then analyzed using Pareto Diagram, Fault Tree Analysis, and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis. The Pareto chart analysis shows that stitching defects (43%) and inaccurate screen-printing defects (37%) are the two main types of defects, contributing about 80% of all defective products. The FTA analysis shows that the second type of defect is caused by a combination of human factors, methods, materials, and machines (4M), with human factors and methods being the most significant causes. The FMEA analysis results show that the Risk Priority Number (RPN) ranges from 30 to 252, with the highest risk cause being overly high production targets (RPN = 252). Based on the research results, it can be concluded that using Pareto Diagram, FTA, and FMEA is effective in identifying types of defects, analyzing root causes, and determining priorities for improvement, which helps support the enhancement of the quality of T-shirts produced by CV Dwiputra Ihwa.

Abstract

The Ngalaksa tradition in Rancakalong District is a manifestation of the cultural identity of agricultural communities that functions as a ceremony of gratitude for harvests as well as a mechanism for strengthening social solidarity. This study aims to reveal the philosophical meaning, historical background, ritual structure, as well as the sociocultural and religious values contained in the tradition. The method used is a qualitative approach with field studies through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with traditional leaders, and documentation and literature studies. The research results show that Ngalaksa was born from historical reflection on past food crisis trauma and functions as a spiritual preventive instrument to maintain harmony between humans, nature, and God. Socioculturally, this tradition maintains mechanical solidarity through mechanisms of mutual cooperation (gotong royong), deliberation (badanten), and inclusivity of cross-generational participation. Modern adaptations such as the use of technology and formalization of organization strengthen Ngalaksa's cultural resilience amidst globalization. The research conclusion emphasizes the importance of integrating this local wisdom into formal education and digital documentation for sustainable local identity preservation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and examine the influence of digital literacy and educational level, both partially and simultaneously, on the utilization of e-government by village officials in three villages participating in the Desa Cinta Statistik (Desa Cantik) Program, namely Kepatihan, Keloran, and Wonoharjo Villages, Wonogiri Regency. This study employed a quantitative associative approach using purposive sampling to determine the research locations and saturated sampling to select the respondents, resulting in a total of 70 respondents. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis with the assistance of SPSS software. The findings reveal that digital literacy has a significant positive effect on the utilization of e-government, whereas educational level does not have a significant partial effect. However, the two variables simultaneously have a significant effect on the utilization of e-government, explaining 61.5% of the variance. These findings indicate that strengthening the digital literacy competencies of village officials plays a more decisive role in the successful implementation of the Village Information System than formal educational attainment alone. Therefore, strategies to enhance the capacity of village government personnel should prioritize continuous technical training and digital mentoring programs.

Abstract

The digitalization of public services has encouraged government institutions, including the Sidenreng Rappang Regency Government, to use TikTok as an official communication channel through the @pemkab.sidrap account. This study aims to analyze the level of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) among the public in accessing government TikTok content, assess the level of digital participation, and examine the effect of FOMO on digital participation. A quantitative approach was employed, involving 108 respondents selected from 4,371 followers using purposive sampling, followed by snowball sampling due to the absence of an accessible sampling frame on TikTok. Data were collected through an online questionnaire using a four-point Likert scale and analyzed using SPSS through descriptive analysis, validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and simple linear regression. The findings indicate that FOMO has a positive and significant effect on public digital participation in the Sidenreng Rappang Regency Government’s TikTok account. This suggests that individuals’ desire to avoid missing information encourages them to access, follow, and interact more actively with government social media content. However, FOMO does not fully explain digital participation, as 31.7% of its variation remains attributable to other factors outside the research model. These findings highlight the relevance of psychological factors in understanding public engagement with digital government communication.

Abstract

Advanced Qur'an learning for early childhood is often criticized for triggering academic anxiety. This qualitative case study aims of dissect the transition curriculum management of the Pra Program Tahfidz Pasca TPQ (PRA PTPT) based on the Qiraati Method at TPQ Sunan Kalijogo Poncokusumo Malang, and explore teacher strategies and institutional policies in overcoming toddlers' behavioral problems, phonological articulation barriers (lisping), and spiritual strengthening. Data were collected through participant observation, documentation, and in depth interviews with five key informants. The results show that the transition curriculum implements a rigid binadzor reading speed leveling system (Levels 1–5) based on an accumulative repetition pattern. The curriculum rigidity is balanced by flexible yet firm teacher strategies through distraction redirecting tactics, inclusive-persuasive approaches, the policy of single-teacher continuity, bureaucratic clinical supervision synergy, and the support of collective spiritual pathways (tirakat). Lisping barriers are clinically resolved using intensive audio-visual imitation methods. The implication proves that accelerating high-level Qur'anic literacy during the golden age can be optimally achieved without disrupting child psychology through a structured methodological ecosystem, adaptive policy synergy, and consistent spiritual approaches.

Abstract

This study aims to determine public perceptions of laying hen feces and the impacts felt by the community in Tanete Village, Maritengngae District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. The study involved 36 respondents selected by purposive sampling from 203 residents living within a 500-meter radius of the farm. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and Likert-scale questionnaires, then analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that public perception of laying hen feces was in the sufficient category (42%). The community is aware of the environmental impacts caused, but still accepts the existence of the farm because it provides economic benefits. The most perceived impacts include unpleasant odors (42%), disturbances in environmental cleanliness (47%), and an increase in the presence of flies (38%). In addition, waste also affects the comfort and daily activities of the community. In general, laying hen feces still cause environmental and social disturbances, so better waste management is needed to reduce the negative impacts felt by the community.

Abstract

Construction schedules presented only as bar charts provide limited information on logical dependencies, time flexibility, and the activities that govern project completion. This study evaluates the schedule of an automotive engine laboratory construction project using the Critical Path Method (CPM). Case data were consolidated from schedule documents, field observations, interviews, and project documentation into eleven work activities and one completion milestone. An Activity-on-Node network was developed and evaluated through forward-pass, backward-pass, and total-float calculations. The CPM model produced a 17-week project duration, equal to the company's original target, while revealing two critical paths: A-B-C-D-I-J-L and A-B-C-D-I-K-L. Steel erection and roofing each had two weeks of total float, whereas wall work and painting each had one week. Seven of the eleven executable activities were critical, and the two critical paths shared a 13-week common sequence. These findings demonstrate that CPM contributes not only through schedule compression but also by exposing schedule logic, focusing managerial attention, and identifying near-critical work that can become critical after a small deviation. The model is deterministic and does not incorporate resource constraints; therefore, subsequent schedule development should integrate resource leveling and probabilistic risk analysis.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of Self-Regulated Learning and Self-Efficacy on the Academic Performance of participants in the ECOLY 2025 Economics Olympiad. Preliminary observations indicated that several participants experienced difficulties in managing learning strategies, time allocation, and confidence when facing competition tasks. A quantitative approach was employed using an online questionnaire distributed to 44 ECOLY 2025 participants. The collected data were analyzed through multiple linear regression. The findings revealed that Self-Regulated Learning had no significant effect on Academic Performance (t = 0.909; Sig. = 0.369), while Self-Efficacy also showed no significant effect (t = 0.158; Sig. = 0.875). Simultaneously, both variables did not significantly influence Academic Performance (F = 1.261; Sig. = 0.294), with an Adjusted R Square value of 0.012. These results indicate that Self-Regulated Learning and Self-Efficacy explain only 1.2% of the variation in Academic Performance, whereas the remaining 98.8% is influenced by other factors. The findings suggest that improving students' performance in academic competitions requires greater attention to subject mastery, competition experience, analytical thinking skills, training intensity, and learning environment support.

Abstract

Tinea unguium is a fungal infection caused by dermatophytes and frequently affects individuals in high-risk occupations, such as farmers. Humid working environments, direct contact with soil, and working barefoot increase the risk of fungal nail infections. This study aimed to identify the fungal species causing tinea unguium in the toenails of farmers in Jagalempeni Village, Wanasari District, Brebes Regency, Indonesia. A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted using 15 toenail scraping specimens cultured on Sabouraud Dextrose Agar (SDA) and identified microscopically with Lactophenol Cotton Blue (LPCB) staining. The results showed the presence of both dermatophyte and non-dermatophyte fungi. Dermatophytes included Trichophyton rubrum (40%) and Trichophyton mentagrophytes (20%), while non-dermatophytes comprised Aspergillus spp. (20%), Rhizopus spp. (13%), and Candida spp. (7%). Trichophyton rubrum was the predominant causative agent. These findings indicate that humid working conditions, prolonged farming activities, and poor foot hygiene may increase the risk of fungal nail infections. Improving personal hygiene and using appropriate protective footwear are recommended to reduce the incidence of tinea unguium among farmers.
