Abstract

Telah dilakukan sintesis zeolite-Y terhadap pengaruh temperatur dan komposisi kimia berbasis lempung dan abu sekam padi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu hydrotermal dengan menggunakan autoclave variasi suhu yaitu 70  ℃ dan 100 ℃ selama 3 jam dan variasi komposisi kimia NaOH, AlCl3 serta H2O. Bahan dasar Lempung diperoleh dari daerah Sidrap Sul-Sel dan abu sekam padi diperoleh dari pembakaran sekam. Zeolit hasil sintesis dilakukan pengujian XRF untuk megetahui unsur yang terkandung didalam bahan dasar, masing-masing SiO2 diperoleh sebesar 45,80 wt% lempung dan 93,40% abu sekam padi, struktur kekristalan zeolit yang terbentuk dikarakterisasi dengan X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) berbentuk kristal dengan masing-masing zeolit yang terbentuk zeolit-Y dan Struktur mikro menggunakan Scanning  Electron Microscopy (SEM).

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of dragon fruit peel extract on the motility and abnormalities of native chicken spermatozoa. The study was arranged experimentally using a completely randomized design consisting of 4 treatments and 3 replications. Before treatment, 12 native chicken were randomly divided into groups and adapted for 10 days with commercial feed and drinking water. The treatments were given orally for 8 weeks and consisted of P0 (control), P1 (1 ml dragon fruit peel extract), P2 (3 ml dragon fruit peel extract), and P3 (5 ml dragon fruit peel extract). Cement storage is carried out by the sequencing method. The quality of the collected sperm is tested in the laboratory. The parameters measured were microscopic sperm quality, namely sperm motility, and abnormalities. The results showed that dragon fruit peel extract had a significant effect on spermatozoa motility by increasing the percentage of motility but had no effect on spermatozoa abnormalities. Provision supplement of 5 ml dragon fruit peel extract gave the best results in increasing spermatozoa motility in native chickens.

Abstract

A Suckermouth catfish is one type of fish that is considered a pest in the waters because it is invasive (invasive species). In addition to being a pest species, Suckermouth catfish is also known as one type of fish species that has a fairly high heavy metal content in some waters that are classified as polluted waters. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the content of chemical elements contained in Suckermouth catfish. Based on the results of XRF (X-Ray Fluoroscence) analysis, it shows that there are 14 chemical elements found in the organs of the broom fish, including Sulfur (S), Potassium (K), Calcium (Ca), Phosphorus (F), Silicon (Si). ), Chlorine (Cl), Iron (Fe), Zinc (Zn), Niobium (Nb), Molybdenum (Mo), Antimony (Sb), Ruthenium (Ru), Indium (In), Tin (Sn) and Titanium (Ti ). Meanwhile, based on the results of XRD (X-Ray Diffraction) analysis on the scales of the Suckermouth catfish, the micrograph results obtained in the form of an amorphous which is indicated by the presence of a hump on the graph consisting of 10% Cadmium Mercury, 81% Phosphorus and 9% Calcium, while in the bone Suckermouth catfish consists of 40% Calcium Hydride, 59% Akermanite, and 0.96% Cadmium.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pada tingkatan mana motivasi peternak dalam beternak sapi potong dengan mengukur kebutuhan hidup keluarga. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Agustus hingga September 2020 pada kelompok ternak Jaya Bersama dengan total responden 30 anggota kelompok ternak dengan mengambil seluruh jumlah populasi peternak yang berada dalam kelompok ternak jaya Bersama. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dengan menggunakan tabel distribusi frequensi. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa pemenuhan kebutuhan di Kelurahan Massepe Kab. Sidenreng Rappang yaitu mendapatkan skoring 89, berada pada kategori Sedang. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut diketahui bahwa pemeliharaan sapi potong bukanlah pekerjaan pokok peternak melainkan hanya bersifat sampingan karena jika mengandalkan dari usaha pertanian yang merupakan usaha pokok tidaklah cukup. Usaha tani komoditi pertanian yang dikombinasikan dengan sistem usaha bagi hasil ternak sapi potong dapat menambah pendapatan petani/peternak sehingga kesejahteraannya dapat meningkat. Abstract

This research examines zeolite-Y made from sidrap clay and rice husk ash as the adsorption of copper (Cu) and lead (Pb) metals. The method used is hydrothermal, using an autoclave with variations of Pb and Cu metals, namely 200, 400, and 600 ppm. The results showed that zeolite-Y was able to adsorb Cu and Pb well, as evidenced by the presence of Pb and Cu in the mapping results and EDS (Energy Dispersive X-Ray) and SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy) showed the morphology of each sample of Cu and Pb metals. Pores indicate the absorption of Cu and Pb metals in the zeolite. The results of AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer) show that the greater the levels of Cu and Pb produced, the greater the absorbent level.

Abstract

The service activity with the title Training on Making Fermented Cattle Feed Based on Agricultural Waste aims to increase the competence of breeders in processing feed ingredients to become of higher quality and produce feed based on agricultural waste as an alternative to forage substitute feed. This activity was carried out through several stages, namely: Introduction of feed ingredients (Aspects of scientific theory), Training on Agricultural Waste-Based Fermentation Processing, and Harvesting-Giving Livestock. The method applied is Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA). This method provides an opportunity for partners to be able to observe, study, share, improve and analyze knowledge about the conditions of farmers in processing quality local raw materials. PRA is substantially a method to find out the potential and problems of partners and provide solutions to solve various problems found. Based on the results of the activity, it was found that the potential for agricultural waste that could be used as animal feed at partner locations included: rice straw, peanut straw, and corn buns. These three types in principle can complement each other's nutritional needs, especially if they are used as substitute feed. The conclusion that can be drawn from this activity is that the utilization of the three identified types of waste can be used as cattle feed which can be processed through mechanical (physical) and biological treatment through fermentation techniques. The evaluation results obtained are in a position at 90.57.

Abstract

Fermentasi adalah galat satu cara buat mengolah ampas kelapa menjadi bahan pakan ternak yang bisa ditingkatkan nilai kegunaannya.Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan sehingga total unit percobaan adalah 16 perlakuan. P1 1 kg ampas kelapa, P2 1 kg ampas kelapa + 10 ml EM4 + 5 ml urine sapi + 100 ml air, P3 1 kg ampas kelapa + 15 ml EM4 + 5 ml urine sapi + 100 ml air, P4 1 kg ampas kelapa + 20 ml EM4 + 5 ml urine sapi + 100 ml air Setiap perlakuan difermentasi secara anaerob selama 14 hari. kadar protein kasar mengalami penurunan karena adanya bakteri terutama clostridia yang aktif memecah protein dan membentuk amoniak. Fermentasi potongan kelapa dalam kondisi anaerobik dapat menyebabkan penurunan kandungan protein kasar.ampas kelapa merupakan limbah yang belum dimanfaatkan karena adanya zat nutrisi terkandung di dalam ampas kelapa sementara kandungan nutrisinya ada di dalam ampas kelapa yaitu protein kasar, lemak kasar, serat kasar, kadar abu dan kadar air. Ampas kelapa yang difermentasi dengan urine sapi dan EM4 menunjukkan bahwa terjadi penurunan kadar abu dan serat kasar tetapi kadar air dan lemak kasar mengalami peningkatan. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan tepung biji labu kuning (Cucurbita moschata) pada level yang berbeda pengaruh terhadap nilai organoleptik dan pH telur asin. biji labu juga mengandung antioksidan yang tinggi, seperti flavonoid, polifenol, dan asam fenolik. Antioksidan dalam biji labu ini berfungsi untuk mengatasi peradangan di dalam tubuh dan melindungi sel dari radikal bebas penyebab penyakit. Hal ini tidak terlepas dari kandungan nutrisi yang ada di dalam biji labu, seperti karbohidrat, lemak, protein, mineral, serta vitamin. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 taraf perlakuan P0 (sebagai kontrol), P1, P2, dan P3. Setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Sehingga terdapat 12 unit percobaan yang masing-masing unit terdiri dari 5 butir telur. Jadi total pengamatan 60 butir telur. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan penambahan tepung sereh dengan level konsentrasi yang berbeda pada adonan telur asin. Adapun level pemberian yang diaplikasikan adalah P0 : Tanpa Perlakuan / control, P1 : Tepung biji labu kuning 5gr, P2 : Tepung biji labu kuning 10gr dan P3 : Tepung biji labu kuning 15gr.
