Abstract

The development of a region is supported by the regional economy, one of which is the trade sector which is related to the market as a place for buying and selling transactions. Community interest, whether in their role as traders or buyers, is influenced by the facilities available in the market and the rental price of the place. The Grand Bangka City Modern Market in Selindung Lama Village has been a trade and business center for the past 12 years and the condition of the building is worrying. In order to arouse people's interest in visiting and carrying out buying and selling transactions, this modern market building needs to be reconstructed. As input for the Pangkalpinang City Government, a mock-up of the reconstruction of the Modern Market building was designed with facilities that could attract public interest. The method implemented is through preliminary stages, design stages and making mockups. With this model design, it becomes input for the Pangkalpinang City Government to reconstruct the Grand Bangka City Modern Market so that it can be reused by the community so that it can support the economy of Pangkalpinang City.

Abstract

Abstract : With the rapid development of the times and the increasing use of technology, many companies and schools, many students are required to use technology as an additional learning medium at home after finishing studying at school. The development of this technology is very pending with the emergence of several platforms, one of which is Microsoft Word. The purpose of this activity is the role and importance of using Microsoft to strengthen education and provision in the future in the world of work and school. Abstract

MSMEs experience problems, especially in recording their finances. Even though financial recording is the main thing for running a business in a sustainable manner. One of the MSMEs that is the focus of this digital-based community service initiative is the Batik Melayu Pinang Sirih MSME. This service activity is carried out using socialization and practical methods. The time for this activity is 1 (one) day on October 1 2023. This community service activity takes place at the Pasir Padi Beach Souvenir Shop, Pangkal Pinang, Bangka Belitung Islands Province. Implementation of service consists of 4 stages. The outcome of this community service activity is that the activity runs without obstacles and can improve the ability of MSMEs to carry out accurate financial records using the Buku Warung application.

Abstract

The interest in learning and reading among the people of Kemuja Village is high, including its students. However, the availability of reading space for the public and students is still limited, including the type and number of reading books is not sufficient. The current condition of the Dahlia Community Reading Park (TBM) does not allow it to be used because it is not suitable and has been neglected. The high interest in reading among the people of Kemuja Village has great potential for the development of Kemuja Village as a Literacy Village pilot project in Bangka Regency. The aim of Village Development by the Bangka Belitung University Civil Engineering Student Association is to develop a Literacy Village in Kemuja Village through the Dahlia Community Reading Park. The method used to achieve the development of a Literacy village in Kemuja Village is through surveys/visits to the village government, youth organizations and TBM Founder, TBM Dahlia Socialization. The results obtained from Village Development activities, through renovations to the TBM, increasing the types and number of books, outreach to school children and the community, and reactivation of the TBM management by involving youth organizations, have further increased interest in reading at TBM Dahlia, so that it can develop Kemuja village as a Literacy Village.

Abstract

The development of information technology has brought a significant impact on various aspects of human life, but there are still many internet users who do not realize the importance of protecting their personal data. More than 30% of internet users in Indonesia have not realized the urgency of building privacy data security to prevent unauthorized access. Socialization activities were conducted at SMPN 2 Merawang using participatory methods, discussions, and lectures to increase students' understanding of the importance of maintaining data security, especially in the context of social media. The result of this activity was the dissemination of knowledge about the importance of online privacy and encouraging active participation of participants. It is hoped that this activity can be significant in increasing students' awareness and understanding of the importance of maintaining online privacy and creating a more digitally secure school environment.

Abstract

This research aims to implement the application of the Canva graphic design platform in order to improve the creativity and digital skills of children at the Muara Kasih Bunda Orphanage. The research method used is a case study, with data collection through interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that using Canva can provide significant benefits for children's orphanages, namely improving visual design skills, opening technological insights, and developing digital skills that are important in the current era. However, there are several challenges such as limited resources, diverse understanding of technology, and the need for intensive guidance and training. This research provides recommendations for orphanages to integrate Canva as part of the educational curriculum, as well as the need for collaboration with various stakeholders to support program sustainability and increase children's orphanage access to technology.

Abstract

This community service aims to provide socialization and simulations related to MSME accounting guidelines so that MSMEs can prepare and report their finances in accordance with applicable financial standards. The participants of this community service are MSME in Namang District, Central Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province. This method of community service is socialization and material assistance as well as a simulation of the implementation of MSME accounting guidelines. The speaker at this event was a lecturer at IAIN SAS Bangka Belitung. The result of this community service is that participants gain knowledge and knowledge about MSME accounting and participants can apply MSME accounting for their business

Abstract

Relatively few farmers use rubber seeds. This is due to the lack of public knowledge regarding the potential of rubber seeds themselves. Rubber seeds tend to be left scattered on plantation land even though the nutritional content of rubber seeds is quite high, especially carbohydrates, proteins and fats which can be used as food. Tanjung Menang Village, South Prabumulih District, Prabumulih City, South Sumatra, Indonesia is one of the villages whose people's main pursuits are rubber plantations. The implementation method used is Asset Based Community Development (ABCD). During the implementation of this PKM, observation, socialization and practice of processing rubber seeds into crackers and dancing packaging were carried out.

Abstract

This study aims to strengthen the understanding of final-year students in writing scientific papers through the dissemination of a scientific writing handbook. The approach methods used are comprehensive, participatory, and technology-based. This activity involved 60 students from the DIII Accounting Program, as well as course instructors and the program coordinator as facilitators. The dissemination was designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the structure, methods, and ethics of scientific writing, which is expected to enhance students' competence in completing their final projects. The results of the dissemination show a significant improvement in students' ability to understand and apply scientific writing concepts. Thus, this program is expected not only to equip students with the necessary writing skills but also to prepare them to face academic and professional challenges in the future. Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are non-profit religious institutions based on education and provide services to the community. However, in financial management, Islamic boarding schools still use simple methods, especially in preparing financial reports. The boarding school applies a single entry system to record its financial transactions. Whereas in accounting, the double entry system facilitates the preparation of financial statements. This activity is a community service programme (PKM) with Islamic boarding schools in Pangkalpinang as partners. Assistance activities for preparing accounting systems and financial reports using the mentoring method. This activity is expected to help Islamic boarding schools prepare financial reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards. The evaluation results were carried out by distributing feedback sheets for target partners to get a picture of how effective this PKM activity was.
