<![CDATA[The rapid development of communication and information technology in the digital era has brought significant changes in communication patterns and language use, including the use of slang among public figures such as Jerome Polin. This study aims to analyze the use of slang by Jerome Polin with a focus on the types of slang used, the context of its use, and its implications in public communication. The research method used is a qualitative analysis of social media content published by Jerome Polin. The research findings show that the use of slang by public figures can attract followers but also raises concerns about its influence on the development of Indonesian language and culture. The results of this study provide new insights into the phenomenon of slang use among public figures and its influence on the development of Indonesian language, which reflects the dynamics and creativity in language use in the digital era.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to determine the application of the discovery learning model assisted by canva media in increasing student motivation in learning to write personal letters. The research method used was a quantitative – experimental approach with a pre-experimental design in the form of one group pretest-posttest which was tested twice: first before treatment (pretest) and second after treatment (posttest). The sample in this study was 35 class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Parongpong for the 2023/2024 academic year who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The results of the research show that there is an increase in students' motivation in learning to write personal letters by applying the discovery learning model assisted by Canva media, with the average score before treatment being 59.89 and after treatment being 80.00 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of the discovery learning model assisted by Canva media is effective in increasing student motivation in learning to write personal letters.]]>

<![CDATA[The aim to be achieved in this research is to find out the effectiveness of civic education learning through the Discovery Learning method for vocational school students. The method used is qualitative where the data collection mechanism used is through field observations and interviews with informants, namely teachers and students. The results of this research show that the Discovery Learning learning mechanism is able to create student independence in studying citizenship education. Students better understand learning concepts by having discussions with peers. Apart from that, the success obtained from this successful learning is that students' grades increase.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to investigate teachers' knowledge, skills and attitudes towards Citizenship Education (PKN) learning in elementary schools. By focusing on the effectiveness of PKN teaching, this research analyzes three main aspects: knowledge and mastery of PKN material, the effectiveness of teachers' skills in managing classes and implementing innovative learning methods, as well as teachers' attitudes towards the role of PKN in shaping student character. The research method used is a descriptive study with a quantitative and qualitative approach. Data was collected through surveys and interviews with elementary school teachers in several areas. The research results show that there are variations in teachers' knowledge, skills and attitudes towards PKN learning. Several factors such as lack of training, limited resources, and curriculum pressure influence the effectiveness of PKN teaching. The implications of these findings support the importance of increasing teacher competency and greater support from schools and the government in improving PKN learning in elementary schools. <![CDATA[Reading intelligence greatly affects students. The overall responsibility for developing an interest in reading in primary school children should rest with teachers at school, parents at home and students. One of the obstacles is the low interest of primary school students in reading. Because lack of interest in reading can hinder children's growth, development, and learning, it can lead to poor performance in the future. The reason for students' low interest in reading is their own reluctance to read. Teachers also do not require students to read books in class. To increase students' interest in reading in primary grades, it is necessary to maintain their interest in reading and provide them with exposure to reading materials so that they can become accustomed to reading. Having a reading habit from childhood will help develop a strong interest in reading in the future. The purpose of this study is to discuss various innovative teaching methods that can be used to increase children's interest in reading in primary schools. It is important that teachers encourage students' interest in reading in school. Research is conducted by developing research questions and searching for journal references suitable for data analysis. Google Chendikia or Google Scholar is used to search the Internet for a collection of journals. Data is studied, examined and compared with other data. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach. The analysis found that this could potentially increase students' interest in reading in primary schools.]]>

<![CDATA[Leaders should play a supervisory role in improving the professionalism of teachers. This is because the improvement in teacher professionalism should not only depend on government efforts, but also require the teacher himself to have a strong determination to become more professional. Only in this way can the goal of national education be fulfilled. Professional teachers must have expertise in various disciplines of science, teaching resources, instructional strategies, student motivation, and have advanced capabilities and broad knowledge in the field of education. The methods in this research are qualitative descriptive methods and the type of research of phenomena occurring in the field. The location of this research is in SMAN 5 Payakrasuh. The findings are that surveillance is carried out with the aim of developing and improving teaching skills in educational institutions. Supervision enhances the professional competence of teachers, enabling them to effectively implement the learning process in the classroom. In addition, teachers can fulfil their role as professional educators by effectively carrying out their duties and responsibilities in guidance and teaching, as well as creating a learning environment that supports and promotes effective communication.]]>

<![CDATA[This research was conducted to determine the importance of descriptive text writing skills that students must master to support learning. However, in reality, it turns out that students' descriptive text writing skills are still low. One of the causes of these low skills is that the learning model used by teachers is still a conventional teacher-centered model, so that students are not actively involved in learning. The aim of this research is to determine the influence and improvement through action in two different groups using four indicators of descriptive text writing skills. The experimental group used a Project Based Learning model assisted by MEGASI, and the control group used a cooperative learning model. The research method used was quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent control group design and a sample of 42 people was selected using a purposive sampling technique. The research results showed that the improvement in descriptive text writing skills of students in the experimental class was better than students in the control class. There is a positive influence in the use of the Project Based Learning model assisted by MEGASI is serial image media on the descriptive text writing skills of fifth grade elementary school students.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to determine the effect of the Synthetic Structural Analytical method using flashcard media on the beginning reading ability of class I students at SDN Rang Warga Laok. This research uses quantitative methods with a pre-experimental research design and a one group pretest-posttest model. The sample used in this research was 14 students using saturated sampling techniques. Data collection used student reading ability test instruments and teacher and student activity observation sheets. The results of the research show that 1) The results of the paired sample t-test calculation at a significance level of 0.05 show that the sig (2-tailed) value is 0.001 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Synthetic Structural Analytical method using flashcard media. on the initial reading ability of class I students at SDN Rang Warga Laok 2) the application of the Synthetic Structural Analytical method using flashcard media in learning activities that lasted for 3 meetings was carried out well and obtained an average implementation score for the SAS learning method of 100% in the very good category , the average teacher activity score is 98% in the very good category and the average student activity score is 82% in the very good category.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to examine the physical education curriculum policy at the elementary school level, with a focus on the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at SD Inpres Kobelete. Using qualitative descriptive methods, data was collected through interviews with PJOK School Principals and Teachers. The research results show that the Merdeka Curriculum provides flexibility for educators to design learning that suits students' needs. Differentiated learning strategies are applied to meet the diversity of students' learning needs, interests and learning profiles. Efforts to increase students' active participation are carried out through various methods, including practical learning, group discussions, and giving appreciation. The main challenge faced is limited learning resources. This research highlights the importance of curriculum adaptation to create an inclusive and effective learning environment in the context of physical education in elementary schools.]]>

<![CDATA[The research article aims to explore the instances of code switching and code mixing found in the novel "Bercinta Dalam Tahajjudku" by Anshela. This novel exhibits the use of multiple languages, influenced by factors involving both speakers and their interlocutors. In this storyline, Jade and Rintis, being of the same age, frequently use informal language. Therefore, the occurrences of code switching and code mixing in "Bercinta Dalam Tahajudku" by Anshela can serve as viable educational resources for high school settings due to their alignment with linguistic, psychological, and socio- cultural aspects. This novel is suitable as supplementary material because the author's language is accessible for readers, especially students. Through instances switching between different languages and blending them, this novel aids in broadening students' perspectives and knowledge, providing insights into linguistic structures and elements.
