Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes by applying the Canva application learning media to the science and science subject class V B UPTD SDN 145 Inpres Pampangan. This research is Classroom Action Research, the subject of this research is V B, totaling 30 students consisting of 17 men and 13 women. The implementation of this action was carried out for three weeks, each week including learning and assessment. The presentation of the first cycle material starts on 14 September 2023 and the first cycle test on 18 September 2023. The presentation of the second cycle material starts on 19 September 2023 and the second cycle test is held on 23 October 2023. The results of the research show that the learning outcomes of the first cycle students are average. - average 78.33%. Then in cycle II it increased to 94.00%. The contribution of the application of the Canva application learning media to improving student learning outcomes is very significant, meaning it is in the high category. So it can be concluded that the teacher's ability to apply the Canva application learning media can improve student learning outcomes in science and science subjects in class V B UPTD SDN 145 Inpres Pampangan.

Abstract

Training is a concept that aims to improve the knowledge and skills of someone who has experienced rapid and modern development. Props are objects that can be used to help teachers describe or explain subject matter to students. The training model is carried out starting from observation. The first stage is interviews with teachers and students to analyze learning styles and student characteristics. The props are loaded in the form of a protractor as media to be used in mathematics learning activities. Arc-shaped teaching aids are effective in helping them draw more easily, and they can also determine corner points and corner legs in learning mathematics.

Abstract

The use of a mathematics learning approach is still not fully used optimally. The purpose of this study was to determine the use and effect of a realistic mathematical approach on the mathematical literacy skills of third grade students at SD Negeri 0406 Aek Tinga. The type of research used is experimental research of the One Group Pretest-Ptostes Design type. Data collection techniques used are written test instruments, and observation sheets. With 24 class III students of SD Negeri 0406 Aek Tinga as the research sample. Based on the research that has been done, there is an effect of a realistic mathematical approach on the mathematical literacy skills of third grade students at SD Negeri 0406 Aek Tinga. This is proven through the results of hypothesis testing using the t test showing that the value of tcount = 5,481, with a level of a = 0,05 with degrees of freedom (df) 24-1 = 23, the results obtained ttable = 2,0687. The calculation results obtained tcount > ttable = 5,481 > 2,0687. Thus it can be concluded that the realistic mathematical approach has an effect on the mathematical literacy abilities of class III students at SD Negeri 0406 Aek Tinga. Based on the results of the research, it is better if the realistic mathematical approach can be used optimally.

Abstract

Technological developments that continue to develop have an influence on the increasing number of data, making it a complicated problem to solve manually. The existence of programming algorithms is a solution in completing the data management process, so that errors do not occur in providing answers to data management results, so that the information provided is more accurate and reliable. Besides that, many sorting algorithms are used as solutions to various problems. The use of this algorithm takes into account various aspects of the problem to be solved. Therefore, first find out the comparison between one algorithm and another algorithm. As in this research, it will explain the comparison of the level of efficiency in the bubble sort and selection sort algorithms, which are investigated based on time efficiency, speed and use. This research was carried out by exploring sources of information from various journals, articles and books. With this research, it can provide a solution in taking the right steps in using the bubble sort and selection sort algorithms, which can be used according to the data management problems to be solved.

Abstract

Abstract.Blended Learning is a combination of face-to-face learning and online learning. In elementary schools, many teachers choose to use blended learning to improve students' understanding, especially in computer subjects in mathematics learning at FITK UIN Sumatra Worodugu. So the aim of this research on the one hand is to encourage the use of integrated learning models for mathematics students to assess the development of students' understanding of programming concepts. This research uses qualitative research and the type of research analyzed is descriptive. Researchers tested students' perceptions of online education. Knowledge-based learning and connected learning environments during the Covid-19 pandemic. The data from this research is intended to be a source of learning algorithms for teachers and students in the mathematics curriculum. The research results show that the success of continuing education depends on two things: If there are less than 20 students, then the course is held as an independent unit. The second way, if the class has more than 20 people, the first week will be taught directly, the second week there will be introductions, including online training via WAG. The use of blended learning methods can increase students' understanding in algorithmic programming courses about the evolution of blended learning and its application. For example, the Internet due to disease. Can improve children's learning and increase their motivation, especially in the field of technology.

Abstract

Poetry is a literary work which contains expressions of the author poured into written form with implied meaning so the readers can interpret the results of the written work freely. This study used qualitative method with semiotic approach such as: 1) to describe the meaning of the poems 2) to know the number of icons, 3) to know the number of indexes, 4) to know the number of symbols. The results showed (1) this poem has a deep meaning about the closeness of a human being with his creator, so that at first he was far away but after trying to keep getting closer he felt a calmness, which he had never felt before, (2) there was a choice of diction that used icons, indexes, and symbols written by Sapardi Djoko Damono in expressing the meaning of the poem "Four Seuntai Poems" indirectly to the reader and (3) In the poem "Four Seuntai Poems" written by Sapardi Djoko Damono like as (a) four icons consisting of the words sent, delivered, void and breaking through, (b) three indexes consisting of forbidden words, understanding, reaching, (c) seven symbols consisting of the words house, sea, fire, garden, sky, lost, memory.

Abstract

Mathematics is a discipline characterized by its abstract nature and reliance on logical reasoning. Therefore, it is essential to choose a teaching method that facilitates students' comprehension of the subject matter and fosters their logical thinking abilities. The software is a suitable form of media for the latest advancements in technology. Presently, technology is advancing at a rapid pace and is not only utilized in daily life but can also be employed in the process of learning mathematics. Software facilitates students' comprehension of lessons by enabling them to effortlessly solve questions. Furthermore, the Maple Calculator program is a straightforward and practical tool. The Maple calculator software offers a range of tools to assist students in solving mathematical problems, including integrals and trigonometry. It provides numerous features and functionalities. It has the potential to assist students in resolving their difficulties and is anticipated to enhance students' motivation for studying mathematics. The objective of this publication is to examine the proper and accurate utilization of the Maple Calculator program.

Abstract

Literary works are works of art that use written language to convey ideas, emotions and experiences through artistic expression. Literary works have various forms such as prose, poetry, drama, short stories, etc. Literary works often have characteristics such as rich language, unique writing style, deep, sharper messages or meanings. A short story is a story essay that has a fictional plot. In researching the short story "Justice" by Putu Wijaya, the qualitative descriptive research method was used, namely research that is devoted thoroughly and in depth. And using an objective approach that analyzes the intrinsic elements in the short story and a mimetic approach is an approach to literary works that draws out of the literary work and draws out a fictional story, namely the real world. Using analytical techniques, read, listen and take notes. The short story "Justice" by Putu Wijaya is a story about the injustice experienced by Pak Amat. Readers will be annoyed with the behavior of the ice pudeng seller because they seem to have no ethics.

Abstract

In the literary world, literature is divided into serious literature and popular literature. Serious literature has weightier and more complex writing while popular literature tends to be light and easily understood. Storks belong in popular literature, where they contain lighter stories, and easier words to understand, so that they can be read in different circles. The short stories have intrinsic and extrinsic elements in them. To learn what values the storytellers contain, an objective and mimetic approach is employed to help the reader understand what the writer is trying to say. In the "Pelajaran Mengarang" short, there's a lot of social value that comes from extrinsic. Seno Gumira Ajidarma used several figures of speech that the reader could easily understand. Even values found in intrinsic elements can be understood directly through the lines and conversations found in events. The study was also intended to be beneficial in the development of a brief literary work.

Abstract

The first step in the problem-based learning model is to expose pupils to actual or simulated challenges. When presented with this topic, students will understand that in order to solve it, they will need to apply critical thinking techniques, take a methodical approach, and integrate data from several scientific disciplines. Through student observations in the school environment, particularly the school garden, this experimental study seeks to ascertain the impact of the problem-based learning model (PBM) on student learning outcomes in ecosystem content in class X SMA Negeri 2 Tondano. A pretest-posttest control group design was employed in the study procedure. Sixty people were randomly selected from each of the two courses; the experimental class was treated using a problem-based learning model, while the control class was treated using a traditional learning model. Tests with objectives are employed as tools. Testing the normalcy and homogeneity tests—two criteria for data analysis—comes first and is followed by hypothesis testing. The study's findings revealed that the experimental class's average learning outcome was 98.16, while the control class's average learning outcome was 81.63. As a result, student learning outcomes can be enhanced by the problem-based learning model (PBM).
