Abstract

The purpose of this research are 1) To determine the attention of parents of class VI students at SD Negeri 122368 Pematang Siantar T.A 2023/2024, 2) To determine the mathematics learning outcomes of class VI students at SD Negeri 122368 Pematang Siantar T.A 2023/2024, 3) To determine the effect of attention parents on the mathematics learning outcomes of class VI students at SD Negeri 122368 Pematang Siantar T.A 2023/2024. This type of research is quantitative research with an ex post facto method. This research sample used total sampling, namely all class VI students, totaling 35 students, consisting of 15 male students and 20 female students. Data collection in this research was carried out using questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is a simple linear regression test and a significant test (t test). The results of the research show that there is a significant influence between parental attention (X) on mathematics learning outcomes (Y) of class VI students at SD Negeri 122368 Pematang Siantar T.A 2023/2024. This is proven by the tcount value for the parental attention variable (X) of 6.287 while the ttable value is 1.69236, so tcount > ttable (6.287 > 1.69236), with a sig value α = 0.00 < 0.05 so it can be stated that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Variable contribution.

Abstract

The implementation of science learning in schools has complex and varied challenges. This research aims to identify several general problems that arise in the implementation of science learning and find solutions that can increase the effectiveness of this learning. The problem of implementing science learning in class VI at SDN Pegangsaan Dua 05 this morning does not have too many challenges, because it suits the students' interests. The strategy is carried out through approaching students and conducting peer tutoring. It is hoped that this research will enable teachers in elementary schools to evaluate teaching results in class. Parental involvement in science learning is very lacking, but the role of parents in helping with the practical tools to be used is sufficient and very helpful.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the level of mathematical concept understanding among eighth-grade junior high school students, with a focus on Pythagoras and Statistics. The research method employs a qualitative approach, involving students as research subjects. Research instruments include concept understanding tests, classroom observations, and student interviews. Data analysis is conducted by identifying the level of students' mathematical concept understanding, the factors influencing such understanding, and a comparison between Pythagoras and Statistics. The research results are expected to provide a profound understanding of the extent to which eighth-grade junior high school students comprehend these mathematical concepts. This study can significantly contribute to the improvement of teaching and learning mathematics at the junior high school level. Findings from the analysis of mathematical concept understanding can assist teachers in designing more effective and comprehensive teaching strategies, as well as provide information for the development of a curriculum that better aligns with students' needs in understanding mathematical concepts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students’ critical thinking abilities based on learning styles. This research uses qualitative research methods. This research began by giving tests to class IX-A students to obtain data on students' mathematical critical thinking abilities. The results of this research show that only 14% of students were able to achieve the KKM score, while 86% failed to achieve it. This shows that students' critical thinking skills are highly valued in mathematics education. The conclusion of this research is that students' critical thinking abilities in terms of learning styles in quadratic function material are still relatively low.

Abstract

The Solar Power Plant (PLTS) represents one of the pioneering electricity producers established at Manado State University. The aforementioned solar cell technology is a mechanism that effectively transforms solar energy into electrical energy. Indonesia, being situated on the equator and endowed with ample sun resources, stands to benefit significantly from the adoption of solar energy, thus enhancing its effectiveness. This study employs a quantitative methodology with a descriptive framework to examine the impact of light intensity on the voltage and current of solar panels. Based on the obtained measurements, it can be observed that the intensity of the sun is directly proportional to its brightness, assuming that there is no cloud cover. In ideal bright conditions, the maximum duration for the absorption of solar energy in a single day can extend up to 9 hours. On the contrary, the duration of optimal absorption during overcast or rainy weather conditions is limited to a maximum of five hours during a single day. The calculations were conducted using the average power generated on the initial day, which amounted to 30,299.76 kilowatt-hours per day, and on the subsequent day, which totaled 40,991.22 kilowatt-hours per day. There exists a positive correlation between the intensity of solar radiation and the performance of solar panels, whereby an increase in intensity leads to a corresponding increase in panel performance.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to provide the application of ethnomathematics learning to teachers who do not yet understand ethnomathematics. This research also provides education to teachers that ethnomathematics methods can be used in mathematics material and in classroom learning. So that the nation's next generation will also be more familiar with the culture in Indonesia, because Indonesian culture is now rarely known to the younger generation who have been mixed with foreign cultures. This research is a descriptive type with a qualitative approach. The research design used is a preliminary study. The purpose of using a qualitative approach in this research is to determine the knowledge, understanding and application of mathematics teachers at junior high school level regarding ethnomathematics in the practice of mathematics learning activities. In terms of students' problems in learning mathematics, teachers must have knowledge and understanding of ethnomathematics, so that they can better master it. innovative and creative learning. Before implementing mathematics learning, the first start must start with the teacher first, because the teacher is the student's facilitator in learning. Ethnomathematics and academic mathematics have differences, but ethnomathematics can be used to help students in learning academic mathematics so that students can better understand and comprehend the learning taught by Teacher. Ethnomathematics has also been proven to improve learning outcomes, which has been proven by the research studies mentioned above. Therefore, ethnomathematics can be used by teachers to carry out effective and enjoyable learning and can increase students' love of understanding their own culture.

Abstract

The research is aimed at identifying factors that cause student failure in learning and the types of difficulties experienced by students. The subject of this study is an eighth grade high school student Dwiguna Depok. The data analysis technique used in this study is data reduction, i.e. concluding, separating important things that have already been obtained through the observation, interview and documentation stages of mathematical learning difficulties. This research includes a descriptive type with a qualitative approach. The results show that there are several factors that cause students difficulties in learning mathematics, including individual differences in mathematical ability, lack of motivation, inappropriate teaching methods, health or emotional disorders, and environmental factors.

Abstract

This research aims to increase the effectiveness of using interactive digital learning media in increasing students' understanding of mathematical concepts and learning motivation at the basic level. The research method used is a literature study by collecting and analyzing six selected articles that are relevant to the use of digital media in mathematics learning. The research results show that the use of interactive digital learning media increases students' understanding of mathematical concepts and learning motivation. Online applications such as Wordwall and digital image simulations such as MyWebAR are effective in teaching spatial shapes. Tools like Google Site and Google Classroom support bold learning. Digital media reduces misconceptions and increases interest in learning. There are various free websites available to choose suitable learning media. It is important for teachers to choose the right media for students.

Abstract

Normally we experience hardships in deciding the result of a pseudocode calculation, particularly in settled control structures or settled circles. Generally muddled. We experience issues speculating rationale or deciding the result. For instance, what is the final product of the cycle? Is that correct? Where are the beginning and end points of the circle? Where could the limit of the circle's body be? Should this cycle proceed or stop? Does the circle go on until the outcome or intelligent condition is valid? Does the circle run until the condition is valid? Aside from that, in light of the fact that the human psyche has impediments in recollecting or rehashing, a device is expected to examine it. In light of this issue, the creator is searching for a basic model or technique for variable examination, both info factors and result factors with algorithmic rationale in a pseudo code calculation. This is the creator's goal in planning a table called a control table. Abstract

In this journal, we analyze the basic concept of programming algorithms, which is the main basis for software development. The algorithm itself is a structured set of steps to solve a problem. Then in this journal the author presents an in-depth explanation of what is meant by algorithm, structure, steps and others. This article uses a descriptive method where the author first analyzes, summarizes and describes different situations, conditions from several different sources which are then collected into an article or writing. Collecting data or information sources is carried out using library research techniques from journals, books or internet media which are used as reference material or references relating to the title discussed, namely the basic concept of programming algorithms with more accurate data and clear sources.
