Leadership is a person's process of moving others by leading, guiding, and influencing them to do something to achieve the expected goals. Motivation is the desire that arises to move in order to achieve the desired goals. This study used a descriptive-qualitative method that aims to determine the role of leadership in identifying obstacles to increasing employee motivation at the Gowa social service office. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation checklists and interviews. The results of the study show that the role of leadership has been carried out optimally, namely by motivating employees through providing direction and guidance, establishing good communication, providing rewards and punishments, conveying clear information, and providing supervision and evaluation of employee performance. The obstacles faced by leaders are the difficulty in determining the form of motivation that will be given because employees have different characters and desires, as well as the lack of giving rewards to employees. The way leaders overcome these obstacles is to build cohesiveness and mutual respect.

Interpersonal communication is the process of sharing information, ideas, feelings, and opinions from two or more people, verbally and non-verbally. This study aimed to determine the effect of interpersonal communication on employee performance during work from home. This data analysis uses descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were PDAM Makassar employees, with six people selected using purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of interpersonal communication on employee performance during work from home. This is because their communication is effective, so their performance is also good. The better the interpersonal the interpersonal communication among employees, the better the performance result.

The purpose of this research was to find out the use of “the Blindfold game technique” in improving the vocabulary mastery of students at SMPN 4 Sungguminasa. The method used in this research was pre-experiment with one group pretest-posttest. The population in this study were students of Class VIII at SMPN 4 Sungguminasa in the 2022/2023 academic year. This research used a cluster random sampling technique. The sample of this research was Class VIII C, which consisted of 30 students. The results of this study that there were a significant increase in students vocabulary mastery after the students were given treatment. This can be seen by the mean score between the pre-test (52.53) and the post-test (79.33). It means that the use of the Blindfold as games was able to improve students vocabulary mastery. This game helps the students to enhance their learning on vocabulary mastery.

English is a worldwide language that many countries used as the first and second language. This causes the company also participate in its use as a condition for the sustainability of the company. In line with this, experience also plays an important role in the running of a company. Experiences are things that have been passed, felt, and learned. This study aimed to determine the influence of English competence and work experience on employee performance. This research is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were five employees of PT. Samudera Indonesia, Tbk. Makassar branch was selected using a purposive sampling technique. The results of this study signify that employee performance is influenced by English skills and work experience. The more English is used and the more experienced employees, the greater work results to affected the company needs.

This study aims to find out what are the reasons people choose PT. Asri Wisata Indonesia as a means to the holy land and how PT. Asri Wisata Indonesia advertises its company so that people are interested. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques using interview guideline research instruments. The subjects of this research are the customers of PT. Asri Wisata Indonesia and also employees from PT. Asri Wisata Indonesia with five customers and one employee randomly selected. And the results of the interviews show that most of the people choose PT. Asri Wisata Indonesia from an acquaintance, exhibition, distribution of vouchers, and social media. So it can be concluded that PT. Asri Wisata Indonesia is very good at distributing company packages to attract a customer to become a loyal member of PT. Asri Wisata Indonesia.

Russia has carried out attacks on several areas in Ukraine since February 2022. The war that has been going on for a long time has captured public attention, which is shown via Twitter. This study aims to determine the network in the communication of information dissemination related to the hashtag #UkraineRussiaWar on Twitter social media. This study uses the theory of Computer-Mediated Communication (CMC). Social Network Analysis (SNA) is a visualization method for understanding interaction patterns between individuals or communities and includes an overview of social networks according to the topics discussed. Social Network Analysis provides a means in the form of statistics used to examine relational data that focuses on explaining patterns of relationships between actors and analyzing the structure of network patterns using Gephi. This research used quantitative methods by applying Social Network Analysis with the Netlytic and Gephi models. Netlytic successfully recalled data from 2500 samples among active Twitter users. The results of the study show that there is betweenness centrality on the @blogukraine account with a value of 22.0 as the most substantial account in distributing information related to links, closeness centrality of 1,211 nodes which are popular actors in information distribution, and eigenvector centrality on the @militarylandnet account with a value of 1.0 as the most important actor in information dissemination and is continuously associated with related information. The war between Russia and Ukraine has become a protracted conflict and has broadly impacted the world. The visualization of SNA shows many responses from the world community via Twitter as a form of public concern for conflict resolution.

The aim of this investigation was to determine how civil servants implement public service management at the Cultural Heritage Preservation Center of SouthSulawesi Province.This study employs a qualitative research design with a descriptive approach to depict the research subject without any researcher intervention. Datacollection techniques use observation and interviews. The results of this study show that there isstill a lack of human resources, especially those who deal directly with tourists in implementing public services and the problem of facilities that are also lacking for tourists such as buildings that are rarely open to tourists and also tour guides who are still dominant in serving foreign tourists as well as equipment such asprayer equipment, toilets and seats. However, employees still provide the best service by using SOPs as a basis for service and also a unique approach to tourists by providing online services using the preservation hall website and also tourists get aservice called virtual reality that makes tourists get information before they come to visit cultural heritage sites. In addition, employees are very open, especially to students / students / users who want to do activities in the reserve site area. Therefore, it is recommended to the Cultural Heritage Preservation Center of South SulawesiProvince, in particular, the Public Service and Publication Working Group will organize training sessions on service management for employees, especially those who directly deal with tourists /users.

This culture is particularly prevalent in certain communities. Patriarchal culture is often a subject of casual conversations, discussions, and even films, such as "Marlina The Murderer In Four Acts." This research analyzes patriarchal culture in the film using John Fiske's semiotic analysis. The coding can be divided into three levels: the level of reality, the level of representation, and the level of ideology. The findings of this research reveal numerous codes containing patriarchal culture, ranging from gestures, speech styles, environments, dressing styles, appearances, camera arrangements, actions, and lighting. The research also identifies the impacts of patriarchy in the film, such as subordination, marginalization, violence, stereotypes, and double burdens. The film portrays women's struggle against the patriarchal culture that still thrives in society.

This research aims to explore and analyze the level of employee job satisfaction at Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan in Sinjai Regency. The research subjects consisted of the head of the agency and two employees, with a focus on job satisfaction based on aspects of the job itself, salary, promotions, supervision, and co-workers. The research objectives include an in-depth understanding of current job satisfaction and the ways to increase the job satisfaction of employees. The research method used is qualitative with an interview approach and direct observation. Data is collected through direct interaction with participants and then analyzed to identify emerging patterns and findings. The results of the research show that employees' job satisfaction at Dinas Perpustaakan dan kearsiapan in Sinjai Regency is generally good. Factors such as the work itself, salary, and co-workers have a positive contribution to job satisfaction, while promotions and supervision have a more limited impact. In the ways to increase job satisfaction, this agency has implemented various strategies, including employee training and development, creating a relaxed and pleasant work atmosphere (cool and fun), as well as implementing an organizational culture that encourages values such as teamwork, full innovation, and carrying out the best processes. for best results, showing visitor satisfaction, honesty, trust, enjoyment, and loyalty. The conclusions of this study highlight the importance of paying attention to factors that significantly influence employee job satisfaction. The implications of these findings can be a basis for developing more effective management policies and practices in Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan in Sinjai Regency.

Students' perceptions of learning tools used by English teachers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Students' perceptions of the learning tools used by English teachers during the COVID-19 pandemic can be categorised into five areas, namely the enjoyment of learning English, the ability to provide students with feedback on the learning tools, the planning of online learning, the assessment of online learning and the limitations of online learning. The researcher used both quantitative and qualitative methods to achieve the research objectives. Data collection was in the form of Likert questionnaires and Google Forms interviews. The population of the study was students in the English programme in 2020. The questionnaire was sent out to 40 students and the interviews were conducted by 4 students who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The results of the data analysis showed that (1) students' perceptions of the teaching materials used by teachers in English classes during the COVID-19 pandemic were neutral, and no students perceived the teaching materials as bad or very bad; (2) students' perceptions of the teaching materials used by teachers in English classes during the COVID-19 pandemic were valid.
