Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style and work environment on employee performance in the Warehouse Division of PT. PLN UP2D Tangerang Regency Area. Employee performance is a crucial factor for the sustainability and success of an organization. This research employs a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 45 employees during the period of March 5 to June 5, 2025. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 27, through validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis to examine both partial and simultaneous influences between variables. The results show that both leadership style and work environment have a significant effect, both partially and simultaneously, on employee performance, with a contribution of 57.2%. Effective leadership and a conducive work environment are proven to enhance productivity. These findings provide recommendations for management to develop a more participative leadership style and to create a supportive work environment in order to optimize employee performance. This research may also serve as a foundation for future studies by adding other variables such as motivation, compensation, or organizational culture.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of working capital and repair services on workshop income in Fakfak Regency. The research data consist of working capital, number of repair services, and workshop income over the past five years. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS. The results show that working capital has a positive and significant effect on workshop income, repair services have a positive and significant effect on workshop income, and both simultaneously have a significant effect on income. Repair services are the most dominant factor influencing workshop income. The implication of this research is that increasing working capital and optimizing repair services are essential strategies for improving workshop income.

Abstract

Household waste management remains a significant environmental issue in Indonesia, particularly in rural areas. Limited treatment facilities and low public awareness have led most waste to be burned or disposed of without sorting, causing impacts on health and environmental quality. This study aimed to empower local residents through basic education on waste management using the ecovillage approach. The activities were conducted through participatory methods, including preliminary surveys, educational sessions, composting practices, interactive discussions, and evaluations. The results showed an improvement in community knowledge and skills in waste separation and household-scale composting. In addition, local initiatives emerged such as the formation of environmental cadres and waste banks as part of strengthening community institutions. These findings demonstrate that participatory education effectively drives behavioral change and supports the realization of environmentally sustainable villages.

Abstract

This research studies the role of the Acehnese local government in handling religious conflicts between Islamic sects. Sociologically, religious conflict can be defined as a dispute between two or more people over interests, goals, and understandings that bring religious doctrine as the reason for the conflict. A social conflict does not necessarily occur unless it begins with the presence of a potential lurking within the community and then escalates, heats up, becomes tension, and ultimately culminates in a physical conflict as a result of the presence of a trigger. In the context of Aceh, the religious conflict is revealed by the conflict between Islamic sects that manifests itself in cases of forced change of mosque management that is sometimes associated as a case of mosque seizure. Simply put, the purpose of this research is to see how the role of the Acehnese local government in handling religious conflicts among fellow Muslims that are squared in the sect. This study is a sociological study with a qualitative approach. The results of the study show that the conflict between Muslims in Aceh has occurred for a long time, ranging from the issue of wanting to establish an Islamic state with Islam as the concept of the country, to the issue of Islam which sect is more correct. This potential for conflict is seen recurrently in factual events such as feuds between Islamic sects.

Abstract

Changes in global work patterns that have occurred since the COVID-19 pandemic have brought about major transformations in the world of work, one of which is the implementation of Work From Home (WFH). WFH is a work system that allows employees to carry out their duties and responsibilities from home by utilizing communication and information technology. This phenomenon is not only a temporary solution to maintain the continuity of company operations, but also creates a new paradigm in human resource management. This study uses a quantitative method with an explanatory research approach. The population in this study were all employees who implement the Work From Home work system in companies/agencies in Indonesia. Data analysis was conducted using statistical software (SPSS). Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the implementation of Work From Home (WFH) has a positive and significant impact on employee performance and job satisfaction. WFH can improve employee performance, especially in terms of time flexibility, effective use of technology, and accuracy of task completion. WFH also increases employee job satisfaction, especially related to work-life balance, time efficiency, and transportation cost saving.

Abstract

The Social Skills Program refers to an individual’s ability to interact, communicate, and build positive relationships with others. These skills are essential in shaping personality, expanding social networks, and supporting everyday social life. This program aims to provide training and development for children living in orphanages so that they acquire adequate skills to interact with others, which will support their social development in the future. This research was conducted at the Cinta Kasih Orphanage Sei Brantas, Medan Sunggal. The research method used is Descriptive Qualitative. The key informant in this study is the Head of the Cinta Kasih Orphanage Sei Brantas. The main informants consist of four children living in the orphanage. Additionally, there is one supporting informant, a member of the community who has knowledge of the Social Skills Program at the orphanage. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The data obtained was analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the Social Skills Program at the Cinta Kasih Orphanage Sei Brantas, Medan Sunggal has been successfully implemented. This is evident from the fulfillment of all three indicators: program elements, implementing organization elements, and beneficiary elements, in accordance with David C. Korten’s theory on successful program implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the demonstration method can improve student achievement in ablution material for second-grade students at SD Alam Qu Ainur Rahmah. This classroom action research uses the demonstration method by demonstrating or showing students a process or situation being studied, thereby enhancing their understanding of the lesson. This research is a CAR with three cycles through four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 32 students. The hypothesis proposed is that if the demonstration method is used effectively, it can improve student achievement in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) for second-grade students at SD Alam Qu Ainur Rahmah. The success indicator is 75% with a Minimum Competency (KKM) of 75. Data collection techniques include observation. Data analysis techniques use formulas to determine average values and percentages. The results of the study showed that learning achievement in cycle I was 44% or 14 students with a KKM of 75, cycle II was 56% or 18 students with a KKM of 75 and in cycle III was 81% or 26 students for the material of the pillars of ablution and 87.5% or 28 students for the material of the sunnah of ablution with a KKM of 75. The increase in student learning achievement from cycle I to cycle II was 12% with a KKM of 75, the increase in achievement from cycle II to cycle III with the material of the pillars of ablution was 25% and in the material of the sunnah of ablution was 31.5%.

Abstract

PT Telkom Witel Bekasi is a company operating in the telecommunications sector and requires employees to achieve service targets at the end of each month. This study aims to examine the influence of Work Environment and Workload on Employee Turnover Intention. The research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method by distributing questionnaires. The sample consists of 33 respondents selected using a saturated sampling technique, where the entire population is used as the sample. Data were analyzed using data quality tests, classical assumption tests, hypothesis tests, and the coefficient of determination test, processed through SPSS version 27. The results show that partially, the Work Environment variable (X1) has a negative and significant effect on Turnover Intention (Y), with a t-value of -2.747 t-table 2.042 and a significance value of 0.01 0.05. Meanwhile, the Workload variable (X2) has a positive and significant effect on Turnover Intention, with a t-value of 5.333 t-table 2.042 and significance of 0.00 0.05. Simultaneously, both variables significantly affect Turnover Intention, with an F-value of 19.142 F-table 3.316. The R² value of 0.531 indicates that 53.1% of the variation in Turnover Intention is explained by the Work Environment and Workload variables.

Abstract

In recent years, global and national economic shifts have significantly impacted the financial stability of companies, including those in Indonesia's retail sub-sector. This study aims to analyze the effect of liquidity and solvency ratios on the financial performance of retail sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2021–2024 period. The variables used include Current Ratio (CR) as a measure of liquidity, Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) as a measure of solvency, and Return on Assets (ROA) as an indicator of financial performance. A quantitative approach was employed. The results show that, partially, CR does not have a significant effect on ROA. Meanwhile, DAR has a positive and significant effect on ROA. Simultaneously, CR and DAR have a significant effect on ROA. These findings indicate that although liquidity alone does not significantly impact profitability, the combination of liquidity and solvency plays a crucial role in determining the financial performance of retail companies. This study is expected to serve as a valuable reference for management and investors in assessing corporate financial health.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, universities are required not only to produce graduates who excel academically but also to equip them with non-academic skills relevant to societal and workforce demands. Student organizations serve as platforms for character building, intellectual capacity development, and soft skills training that support students’ overall success. The aim of this study is to describe the organizational strategies of student bodies, particularly the Student Executive Board (BEM) of Universitas Negeri Surabaya, in enhancing students’ academic and non-academic achievements through Heinrich Pestalozzi’s holistic education approach. This research employed a qualitative method using in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation to obtain comprehensive data. The findings reveal that BEM UNESA’s strategies include strengthening academic capacity through seminars and study communities, fostering leadership through social engagement, and utilizing digital technology in organizational management. These strategies align with Pestalozzi’s principles emphasizing the balance of head (intellect), heart (emotion), and hand (practical skills). The study indicates that students’ active participation in organizations not only positively influences academic achievement but also enhances soft skills, social awareness, and leadership character. Thus, student organizations are proven to be strategic avenues for shaping competent, adaptive, and character-driven young generations in the global era.
