Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of sales and price promotions on the purchase decision of the South Surabaya Mixue brand.Along with the development of technology and communication, as well as the development of the economic field in the current era, of course economic actors or corporate companies in Indonesia must be able to build and add a wider marketing space for business actors to develop their businesses. With the entry of foreign culture in the era of globalization, so that entrepreneurs in Indonesia can compete and so as not to be left behind, economic actors must be able to attract as many buyers or consumers as possible for success in doing business. This can be done by implementing an effective marketing strategy, for example in terms of promotion, and price is believed to be the most crucial aspect of the marketing mix. The purpose of promotion and pricing is aimed at being able to attract the potential to increase consumers for the company's profit. Therefore, this study aims to prove the influence of marketing activities, which in this case is promotion and pricing that are aimed at triggering significant consumer purchase decisions, especially in the fb business focused on the Mixue brand. In this study, the sample used was as many as 100 respondents who represented the public's perspective on the brand in question. The results of this study prove that marketing activities through promotion and pricing have a positive and significant effect on consumer purchase decisions

Abstract

In a dynamic business environment, employee adaptation is crucial for organizational productivity. This study analyzes the role of employee adaptation in improving productivity within the Spatial Control Division of the Bekasi City Spatial Planning Office. Using a non-statistical quantitative approach, data was collected through direct observation of 45 employees and a Likert scale questionnaire. Descriptive analysis was performed by integrating findings from both observation and the questionnaire to identify the relationship between variables. The results demonstrate that adaptation to changes, such as the introduction of a new Canon printer, has a tangible impact on productivity. This is evidenced by observational data showing the time required to print a map decreased from 15 minutes to 8 minutes and the frequency of printing errors dropped from 10% to 2%. These findings align with the positive perceptions of employees recorded in the questionnaire. The validity and reliability of the instruments were also confirmed, with a Cronbach's Alpha of 0.895 for the adaptation variable (X) and 0.867 for the productivity variable (Y). The conclusion of this research confirms a positive correlation between adaptation and increased work productivity, highlighting that investing in the development of employee adaptability is a vital strategy for any organization.

Abstract

The film "Kukira Kau Rumah" is the directorial debut of Umay Shahab that was first screened in Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival in 2021, before finally officially released in Indonesian theaters on February 3, 2022. This film has a duration of 30 minutes. specifically bipolar disorder, through a main character named Niskala who struggles dealing with social stigma and limited support from the surrounding environment. To analyze this film, this study used a descriptive design with a qualitative approach as the primary method chosen by the researcher. The results of the study show that In the movie Kukira Kau Rumah, there are representations of two mental disorders namely bipolar disorder and depressive symptoms. Bipolar disorder is shown through Niskala’s extreme and unstable behavior such as when she appears very energetic, speaks fast and acts impulsively without considering the consequences. Meanwhile, symptoms of depression are shown through scenes when Niskala is alone, crying, losing interest in the surroundings, as well as showing a blank expression and emotional exhaustion. Both conditions are contrastively described to show the unbalanced mood dynamics, which are characteristic of bipolar disorder sufferers, while showing a profound emotional impact on their daily lives.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of product quality and promotion on customer satisfaction. The research method adopted was quantitative with a survey approach through distribution of questionnaires to 71 respondents. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to find out the relationship between the independent variable (product quality and promotion) the dependent variable (customer satisfaction). The results of the study show that product quality has a positive and significant influence on customer satisfaction, while promotion also has a positive but insignificant influence. The findings indicate that product quality is a major factor in shaping customer satisfaction, while promotion plays a supporting role. The study provides implications for companies to focus more on improving product quality in order to retain and improve customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The Naqshbandiyah order has been an integral part of the development of Islamic spirituality in Indonesia, particularly in West Pasaman, West Sumatra. This article explores its historical trajectory through the perspective of Islamic religious education, with a focus on prominent figures such as Syeikh Muhammad Said Padang Bubus and his descendants. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the study analyzes how the teachings of Sufism within this order contribute to the formation of spiritual character and religious education among the local community. The findings indicate that the spiritual charisma (karāmah) and practices of the syekh not only strengthened faith but also served as a model of holistic education that integrates spiritual dimensions with everyday life. The study concludes that the Naqshbandiyah order has played a significant role in shaping spirituality-based character education that remains relevant in the contemporary era.

Abstract

his study aims to analyze the software quality of the educational application "History of Indonesia Independence" based on the ISO 25010 standard, focusing on the indicators of functional suitability, usability, and portability. The testing method employed questionnaires to measure functional suitability and usability, along with direct testing on various smartphone devices to assess portability. The results indicate that the application was deemed "Highly Eligible" in terms of functional suitability with a score of 86%. In the aspect of usability, the application received an "Eligible" predicate with a score of 82.9%. Meanwhile, the portability test proved that the application could run successfully on ten devices with different Android operating system versions. Overall, this application has met the established software quality standards. Recommendations for future development include enhancing the usability aspects to achieve a higher eligibility level and conducting ongoing portability testing.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the influence of human resource (HR) development strategies on increasing employee productivity. In the context of increasingly complex business dynamics, HR development is considered crucial for improving organizational performance. The survey method is used to collect data from respondents who are employees in various sectors. Multiple linear regression analysis is used to test the relationship between HR development strategy variables and employee productivity. The research results show that there is a positive and significant influence between HR development strategies and increasing company productivity. These findings emphasize the importance of investing in human resource development as a means of increasing employee competitiveness and performance. The practical implication of this research is that managers and organizational leaders need to pay attention to HR development strategies as an integral part of their business strategy to achieve productivity goals.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how job stress and adverse work environment affect the exit intention of Generation Z employees, considering both direct and indirect influences mediated by their performance and engagement at work. The study used a quantitative approach and was conducted in Indonesia. Respondents consisted of 200 Gen Z employees aged 18–27 who currently work at various startups. Data were collected through an online questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS) with the help of SmartPLS software 4. Findings showed that job stress and a toxic work environment had a significant and positive influence on the intention to leave. Additionally, employee engagement plays an important role in mitigating the negative impact of stress and toxicity, while employee performance also serves as a mediating variable that influences employees’ decisions to stay or leave. All hypotheses put forward in this study are accepted and reliable. This study is limited to young employees (Gen Z) working in startup companies in Indonesia. The study did not include other generational or industrial groups, as well as did not consider additional factors such as career development opportunities or organizational justice that may also influence intentions to leave.

Abstract

Low early childhood learning engagement in Indonesia poses a serious challenge in national education quality development. Based on the data of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology in 2023, as many as 47% of early childhood children show low learning interest, which is rooted in learning approaches that do not match the child’s characteristics. This study aims to explore strategies for improving learning engagement through strengthening teachers’ competencies in the application of play-based learning. The research method used was a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through observation and documentation in early childhood institutions. Data analysis was conducted with the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model through the process of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. Study results show that play-based learning has positive implications on increasing motivation, active participation, as well as holistic child cognitive, social-emotional, language, and motor development. However, the effectiveness of this approach is highly dependent on teachers’ competence in designing, managing, and evaluating educational, structured play activities. Findings also affirm that enhancing teacher professionalism, through training, accompaniment, and reflective collaboration, is a major key in optimizing the implementation of play-based learning. This study recommends the importance of integrating a playful approach in the early childhood curriculum and strengthening teachers’ pedagogical capacities as a strategic effort in building a foundation of participatory, inclusive, and child development-oriented education from an early age.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Employee Performance and Service Quality on Public Satisfaction at the Tasikmalaya City Communications Office. The method used is a quantitative approach with a causal design and survey techniques. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation studies. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 25 software, and supplemented with multiple correlation tests, F tests, T tests, and coefficients of determination. The results of the study revealed that together, Employee Performance and Service Quality have a positive and significant influence on Public Satisfaction. Separately, both Employee Performance and Service Quality were also proven to have a positive and significant influence on Public Satisfaction.
