Abstract

Transformational Leadership is a leadership style that inspires, motivates employees to work creatively and innovatively and adapt to change. The situation created brought about administrative reform that relies on the ability to think in making the right decisions in maintaining a country's stability, in addition to a vision and mission dedicated to creating significant changes in the post-New Order era by voicing press freedom to realize good governance through transparency and government accountability. This study uses a literature study method that analyzes previous research on the importance of transformational leadership styles today, relevantly providing answers that motivating leaders can increase employee innovative behavior in advancing the company by collecting objective data through current topics. The purpose of the study was to analyze the relevance of BJ Habibie's leadership style to today's leadership in facing the challenges of modern innovation. Therefore, transformational leadership has an important role in public organizations understanding the actors involved in thinking openly in understanding changes in modern organizations.

Abstract

The Indonesian language plays an essential role in shaping students’ logical, critical, and scientific thinking skills. However, the rapid growth of technology and social media has led to the widespread use of slang among students, which may reduce their awareness of using formal language in academic contexts. This study employs a literature review method to examine the role of the Indonesian Language course in preventing the negative influence of slang on students’ formal language proficiency. The findings reveal that the course serves as a medium for developing academic ethics, sociolinguistic awareness, and intellectual identity. Through digital literacy–based learning and contextual language understanding, students are expected to use language appropriately according to context, thereby maintaining linguistic values and national identity in the globalization era.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the digital transformation in public services: an evaluation of e-government implementation in Indonesia. This study uses an evaluative study with a qualitative approach. Informants were selected using purposive sampling, including policymakers, technical implementers, and service users. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation studies. The results of this study indicate that the evaluation of e-government implementation in Indonesia shows significant progress in digital infrastructure, public services, and public participation. However, challenges such as the digital divide between regions, limited civil servant competency, uneven system integration, and data security risks still need to be addressed. Therefore, strategies are needed to strengthen e-government, including cross-sector data integration, increased digital literacy, and strengthened cybersecurity, which are expected to improve bureaucratic efficiency, service quality, public trust, and community participation.

Abstract

This research is backgrounded by the importance of preaching communication skills for students as prospective da’i who will play a role in spreading Islamic teachings in the community. Muhadharah as one of the traditional activities of boarding schools has strategic potential in developing students’ communication competencies, yet in-depth studies on its role in the context of modern boarding school education are still limited. Darul Furqon Tahfizul Qur'an Madrasah PP Islahuddiny West Lombok NTB organizes muhadharah activities routinely as part of the educational curriculum, so it is interesting to study how these activities contribute in improving students' preaching communication skills. The research method adopted was qualitative descriptive with data collection technique through in-depth interviews of 5 students and 2 ustadz, as well as observation of muhadharah activities. The results of the study showed that muhadharah activities made a significant contribution in improving students’ preaching communication skills through five main aspects: (1) improving public speaking ability by overcoming anxiety and developing self-confidence; (2) the development of rhetorical skills through the use of a variety of engaging delivery techniques; (3) improved mastery of preaching material through a systematic process of research and preparation; (4) mental formation and strong self-confidence through repeated experience; (5) development of adaptability to various audience characteristics. Muhadharah activities also proved relevant to the challenges of preaching in the digital age as it provided a foundation of communication skills that could be transformed to various media platforms. The study recommended the optimization of muhadharah activities by technology integration and development of more innovative variations of learning methods.

Abstract

Waste is a serious problem faced by many countries around the world, especially Indonesia. However, the presence of the Sukamaju Sejahtera Waste Bank program from West Bandung Regency has attracted significant attention because it has the potential to be an innovation that can reduce the problem of plastic waste. This paper will examine the importance of the involvement of various actors, including the government, communities, and the public, in empowering the Sukamaju Sejahtera Waste Bank as a solution to address the plastic waste problem in Indonesia. This research will use a literature review method to deeply examine the relationship between the importance of communication with these various actors. The findings of this study demonstrate that multi-actor communication plays a crucial role that must be maintained in developing the existence of the Sukamaju Sejahtera Waste Bank. However, this communication must also be accompanied by tangible forms of assistance so that the waste bank does not lose its ability to continue processing plastic waste in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the legislative function of the Village Consultative Body (BPD) in the formation of village regulations in Batudaa Subdistrict, Gorontalo Regency. The BPD’s legislative function is an important part of democratic and participatory village governance. Within the framework of public administration, legislative effectiveness is measured not only by regulatory outputs but also by participatory processes, transparency, and institutional accountability. This study recommends strengthening the BPD’s capacity through legislative training, enhancing public participation mechanisms, and improving coordination among village actors as strategic steps to increase the effectiveness of village legislation. These findings are expected to contribute to the development of more responsive and accountable village governance in the context of public administration.

Abstract

The digital transformation in public administration has created new challenges for local technical agencies, including the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office (PUTR), which plays a crucial role in water resources management (WRM). This study analyzes the synergy between the New Public Management (NPM) paradigm—focused on efficiency and performance—and the New Public Service (NPS) paradigm—emphasizing participation and public value—in the management of WRM at the PUTR Office of Bolaang Mongondow Selatan Regency, Indonesia. A qualitative descriptive method was applied through literature review, limited interviews with PUTR officials, and policy document analysis. The findings reveal that digitalization initiatives such as GIS-based irrigation network monitoring, damage reporting applications, and e-supervision systems have improved efficiency and accountability (NPM principles). However, program sustainability depends heavily on community collaboration, farmer associations, and local user groups (NPS principles). The synergy between NPM and NPS creates a hybrid model of public administration that is both efficient and inclusive, reinforcing good water governance in the digital era.

Abstract

The debtor who has made and also agreed to an agreement made jointly with the creditor in the case of the debtor requires a sum of money due in a credit agreement, the debtor often commits an act of default in the form of non-payment of the debt and as if the promise was not fulfilled. made collateral to another party and has been foreclosed, where the agreement must remain in force, requiring legal protection for creditors who have no collateral binding. Legal protection of creditors is regulated in the Book of the Civil Code. This study aims to provide creditors with an understanding of how forms of legal protection relate to collateral foreclosed by other parties either before or after the agreement is made. The type of research used is normative research, such as the use of books, discussion of theories and prevailing laws. In conclusion, this study is felt to be crucial to provide justice to those who need it.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the trends, interrelations, and research development concerning corporate communication in hospital branding strategies through a bibliometric approach. Data were retrieved from the Scopus database for the publication period 2021–2025 using a combination of keywords: “hospital branding,” “corporate communication,” “healthcare reputation,” and “artificial intelligence.” The analysis was conducted using VOSviewer software to map keyword co-occurrence, author collaboration (co-authorship), and density as well as temporal visualizations. The results reveal that corporate communication serves as a central node in hospital branding research, functioning to build reputation and public trust through the integration of strategic communication and digital technology. Furthermore, the findings indicate a growing trend toward the adoption of artificial intelligence and social media to enhance brand image and patient experience. This study contributes theoretically to the development of technology-based corporate communication concepts in healthcare and provides practical implications for strengthening hospital reputation in the digital era.

Abstract

This study examines the implied meaning of love in Robert Burns’ A Red, Red Rose through a structural approach, integrating Cognitive Poetics, Conceptual Metaphor Theory, and structuralist perspectives. Using qualitative analysis, each stanza is explored to identify figurative devices such as similes, hyperboles, symbolism, repetition, rhyme, and meter, and to interpret how these elements convey nuanced emotional meanings. The findings reveal that stanza 1 presents love as fresh and harmonious; stanza 2 emphasizes its enduring nature across time; stanza 3 expresses a cosmic and temporal climax; and stanza 4 depicts a dignified farewell, highlighting constancy, hope, and devotion. Overall, Burns’ integration of figurative language and structural patterns demonstrates love as eternal, resilient, and harmoniously balanced. Suggestions for future research include applying cognitive and cross-cultural approaches to poetry, while educators and students are encouraged to analyze the interplay of form and figurative devices to deepen understanding of implied meaning.
