Abstract

The village of Wongko Lakudo in Lakudo Subdistrict, Central Buton Regency, has significant natural resource potential, particularly in terms of marine products and cashews. However, this potential has not been optimally utilized by the Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes). This community service activity aims to formulate and implement an optimization strategy for the BUMDes based on local potential to enhance the economic self-reliance and well-being of the village community. The method used is a participatory approach through several stages: problem observation, mapping of local potential, training in business management and digital marketing, business plan development, socialization, and monitoring and evaluation. The activity was carried out collaboratively with village partners, BUMDes management, community leaders, and local business actors. The results of the activity showed an increase in the capacity of BUMDes management in business management, business plan development, and financial management, the creation of a local potential map, and increased participation and synergy among village stakeholders.

Abstract

Tanjungwadung Village, located in Kabuh Subdistrict, Jombang Regency, is an area where the majority of the population works as farmers and several residents are involved in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), mostly consisting of small convenience stores and traditional herbal medicine production. However, most MSME actors have not yet utilized digital technology for product marketing. The lack of understanding of digital marketing and limited access to devices and internet networks are the main challenges. Therefore, a community service activity in the form of a Digital Marketing Training was conducted for the local women’s organization (PKK) to enhance their capacity in digital product marketing. This activity was carried out using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, which emphasizes active community involvement from the preparation, implementation, to the evaluation stages. The training materials included an introduction to social media as a promotional tool, hands-on practice in creating WhatsApp Business and Instagram accounts, as well as effective marketing communication strategies. The training successfully improved participants' understanding of digital marketing, where initially only four participants used WhatsApp to sell their products. The results of the training showed that participants were enthusiastic throughout each session and were able to apply basic digital marketing techniques. Nevertheless, the program lacked structured and continuous mentoring support. In conclusion, this digital marketing training had a positive impact in fostering digital literacy among MSME actors, yet sustained mentoring is needed to ensure the effective and continuous application of digital marketing practices.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity (PkM) is to describe how to use the financial reporting application and implement the Zahir Accounting application in Dodi Farm. They held the activity on Saturday, Mei 31, 2025, Payakumbuh City The benefits of this activity are to help Dodi Farm to become successful MSME actors, increase productivity, orderly record every financial transaction through the Zahir Accounting application system so that they can obtain accurate information regarding financial position and performance, and dodi farm in developing its business. The forms of activities carried out are a form of training on the application of Zahir Accounting and mentoring programs regarding business activities and Zahir Accounting applications. With the application of the Zahir Accounting software, it will make it easier for the dodi to record transactions to improve the economy

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi finansial (fintech) di Indonesia membawa dampak positif terhadap inklusi keuangan, namun juga meningkatkan risiko penipuan digital, khususnya di kalangan masyarakat dengan literasi digital rendah. Pengabdian masyarakat ini fokus pada edukasi regulasi fintech sebagai upaya pencegahan penipuan digital di Kecamatan Kota Selatan, Kota Gorontalo. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengenali, menghindari, dan melaporkan praktik penipuan digital berbasis fintech. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi tiga tahap: persiapan (survei awal dan penyusunan materi edukasi), pelaksanaan (ceramah interaktif, pencetakan, dan simulasi simulasi fintech ilegal), serta evaluasi dan keinginan (pre-post test, pembentukan kelompok sadar fintech, dan konsultasi berkelanjutan melalui grup komunikasi). Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta sebesar 90%, perubahan perilaku preventif dalam pemeriksaan legalitas aplikasi dan menjaga data pribadi, serta terbentuknya kelompok sadar fintech di lima kelurahan. Program ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan berbasis komunitas dan pembelajaran partisipatif efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi regulasi digital. Temuan ini tidak hanya memberikan dampak praktis dalam perlindungan masyarakat dari penipuan digital, tetapi juga berkontribusi pada pengembangan model edukasi fintech yang dapat direplikasi di wilayah lain.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out in Baobolak Village, Nagawutung District, Lembata Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, with the main objective of increasing public awareness of the importance of healthy and sustainable environmental sanitation. This village faces various serious obstacles related to access to clean water and adequate sanitation facilities, as well as low awareness of clean and healthy living behavior among residents. Through a participatory and educational approach, the community is actively involved from the planning stage to the evaluation of activities. Socialization is carried out through direct counseling, group discussions, and demonstrations of sanitation practices such as proper hand washing, effective waste management, and the use of healthy toilets that meet standards. In addition, field observations were carried out to assess sanitation conditions and identify the main problems faced. The results of the activity showed an increase in public understanding of the importance of sanitation and environmental cleanliness, as well as the growth of collective awareness to maintain environmental cleanliness in a sustainable manner. This intervention is expected to encourage positive, sustainable behavioral changes, reduce the risk of disease, and create a healthy environment as an important foundation for economic and social development in Baobolak Village.

Abstract

This community service aims to increase the knowledge and experience of village governments and Village Consultative Bodies (BPD) about the establishment of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDES). BUMDES can become a village economic powerhouse by managing village potential and providing social and non-economic benefits. However, village governments and BPDs are still reluctant to establish BUMDES due to lack of knowledge and experience. This community service focuses on capacity building for village governments, BPDs, and community leaders to establish BUMDES and develop innovative programs. Thus, this activity can provide added value for increasing village original income and improving the welfare of village communities. Through the establishment of BUMDES, the role of middlemen who harm farmers can be controlled, and transaction costs can be reduced. This community service is expected to make a real contribution to strengthening village capacity.

Abstract

This service discusses the ethics of using social media among teenagers in Babokerong Village, Nagawutung Sub-district, Lembata Regency. The background is the development of information technology that affects the way teenagers use social media, but their understanding of digital ethics is still low. The aim was to understand the views, thoughts, and behaviors of teenagers regarding social media ethics and the factors that influence them. The method used was socialization on the ethics, dangers, and legal sanctions of social media, followed by discussion and reflection. The results showed an increase in adolescents' knowledge and successful analysis, and recommended educational strategies based on local wisdom.

Abstract

Village Original Revenue (PAD) is essential for village independence and development. Duawutun Village, Nagawutung Sub-district, Lembata Regency, is still dependent on government transfers, and the potential funds for PAD have not been properly utilized. This activity aims to increase PAD by empowering local potential, such as agricultural land and clean water sources. The methods used were observation, interviews, and community participation. Results showed improved farm management and clean water distribution systems. This has a positive impact on health, agricultural productivity and additional sources of income. This integrated management is expected to increase PAD sustainably and it is recommended to strengthen village institutions and cross-sector collaboration.

Abstract

Hypertension is a major health problem in the world. According to data from the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2011, 26,4% of the world’s population suffers from hypertension and is likely to increase to 29,2% by 2025. Hypertension is a condition of increased blood pressure, both systolic and diastolic, which is equal to or more than 140/90 mmHg. Hypertension can interfere with the function of other organs, especially vital organs such as the heart and kidneys and brain. Therefore, the community needs to understand hypertension, its prevention and how to overcome it. This counseling aims to increase public knowledge about the management of hypertension so that the community are compliant in treatment and is able to prevent hypertension. The methods used are presentation, discussion and evaluation through pre and post test. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants understanding of hypertension. This counseling succeeded in providing insight to participants about hypertension, hypertension prevention and hypertension management, however this acitivity must continue to be carried out continuously so that public understanding is maintained

Abstract

Children of Indonesian Migrant Workers face various challenges, especially limited access to formal education, which impacts the development of their social and leadership skills. This service activity aims to increase children's courage, communication skills, and leadership through speech and ceremony training per the 1945 Constitution. The method used is non-formal education with a workshop approach and hands-on practice with around 30 migrant worker children. The training is held every Friday with a rotating system, allowing children to practice public speaking and expressing opinions. Evaluation was conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation of activities. The results showed significant improvements in public speaking confidence, organization of ideas, and interpersonal communication skills. This activity is effective in helping to develop the soft skills of children of migrant workers. For sustainability, increasing volunteers, collaborating with the government and NGOs, and developing a more structured non-formal education model is recommended.
