This study assessed the perception of sports betting advertisements and influence on the gambling behaviour of youths in Makurdi metropolis. Survey research method was adopted for the study, while questionnaire was employed as instrument for data collection. A sample size of three hundred and fifty three (353) was statistically drawn using Taro Yamane’s sample determination formula. Data from the study were presented in tables using simple percentages. Findings revealed that youths in Makurdi perceived sports betting advertisements as part of sports which hsas no harmful influence on them thereby justifying their regular participation in sports betting activities. The study further found that sports betting advertisements have significant influence on Makurdi youths by inducing them to bet more on sports as well as make them nurture intentions to consume sports betting products. The ubiquity of sports betting advertisements, the pressure from peers and the proliferation of bet shops have been found to be the cardinal determinants to the surge of sports betting activities among youths in Makurdi metropolis. The study recommended among others that the current regulatory systems for gambling advertising are ineffective. Urgent restrictions are needed across a range of media channels to prevent exposure to promotions that may encourage young people’s interest and involvement in sports gambling; and that, APCON should continually evaluate existing and newly implemented advertising techniques to ensure that promotions of sports betting products or contents are not unduly targeting youths or increasing the risk of gambling among youths.

A corn harvesting tractor is a tractor that operates using a diesel-powered engine which is used to harvest corn and is operated by humans. It is estimated that the presence of this tractor will lighten the burden on corn farmers who previously harvested using human power. Apart from making harvesting easier, corn harvesting tractors also increase production yields. This research aims to reveal the stress values that occur in the frame and the safety values from the results of the design of the tractor frame structure in the form of design and structural strength analysis. This research was limited to a loading of 200 kg. This research examines the design, simulation, and stress analysis of the frame structure of a 200 kg corn harvester tractor using the finite element method or can be said to be Finite Element analysis (FEA). ASTM A36 Steel material is used. Finite element analysis is carried out with a numerical system using software Solidworks 2020. The results of the simulation and analysis show that the tractor frame structure has a stress, deformation, and safety factor of 1.228e+07 N/m2, 2.934e-04 m, and 20.

Corn is one of the plants in agriculture that is needed in the lives of people in West Sumatra. Based on data in 2020 the need for corn is in the range of 1.2 million tons. But what can be produced is 939,466 tons. Traditional corn harvesting technology is a problem that causes corn production is not maximized. Corn harvesting tractor is one of the innovations in agricultural technology. The most important unit of the harvesting machine is the blade. The success of the machine in the harvesting process is determined by the shape and strength of the blade. Experimental testing is expensive and time consuming. Therefore, this study examines the design and simulation of blade strength on corn harvesting tractors with Solidwork software. The simulation carried out is a static analytic structural simulation. The simulation results include von-mises stress, displacement and factor of safety. Stress on the crossbar design has a maximum value of 2.168e+07 N/m^2 at the shaft connection and the inside of the bearing, maximum displacement on the side of the blade tip with a value of 1.953e-01 mm and FoS with a value of 5.553e+04. In design S the maximum stress is 2.476e+07 N/m^2, the displacement on the side of the blade tip is 2.199e-01 mm and the FoS is 1.052e+04. Both designs were given the same material AISI 1045, a force load of 87.05 N and a torque load of 41.5 Nm. The design that is suitable for use is the S shape design based on the results of the simulation and the shape that is more suitable for the harvesting process.

Biodiesel is one of the various alternative energy options to replace the role of diesel or petroleum. Using the basic ingredient, namely palm oil, which is renewable and more environmentally friendly. The palm oil used is not used cooking oil because the focus of this research is to test the effect of boiler waste ash as a catalyst so that the esterification stage can be skipped and focuses on the transesterification stage. The catalyst commonly used today is a homogeneous catalyst that is produced and has a negative impact if there is too much residual substance. Currently, there is not much use for boiler waste ash so much of it is wasted as waste and it is known that boiler waste ash is alkaline and contains alkaline substances so that it can be used as a heterogeneous catalyst to replace homogeneous catalysts. At this tranesterification stage, two types of treatment are given, namely variations in temperature and catalyst concentration to see the best comparison of the several types of samples. The transesterification stage uses a 1:1 ratio of oil and methanol and the addition of 1% KOH. The results of this stage produce biodiesel with characteristics, namely a density ranging between 854-859 Kg/m3 and a viscosity in the range 3,32-4,47 mm2/s, which meets SNI biodiesel standards. From this research, it can be concluded that boiler waste ash has the potential as a heterogeneous catalyst in making biodiesel, replacing homogeneous catalysts and adding to the processing of palm oil boiler waste.

Based on data from the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy, in 2022 Indonesia will contribute 52% of palm oil to the world market share and will be able to produce 40% of the world's total vegetable oil, this will encourage Indonesia to increase the use of biofuels such as biodiesel.Rice husks are still not well utilized so they only become piles of waste. This research aims to determine the effect of rice husk ash as a catalyst in making biodiesel. Rice husks contain compounds as catalyst support, namely SiO2.At this tranesterification stage, two types of treatment are given, namely variations in temperature and catalyst concentration to see the best comparison of the several types of samples. The transesterification stage uses a 1:1 ratio of oil and methanol and the addition of 1% KOH. The results of this stage produce biodiesel with characteristics, namely a density ranging from 857.2-862.4 Kg/m3 and a viscosity in the range 3.25-4.48 mm2/s which meets SNI biodiesel standards. From this research it can be concluded that rice husk ash has the potential as a heterogeneous catalyst in making biodiesel to replace homogeneous catalysts.
