Abstract

In the thesis, the researcher is looking for teacing the skill of reading. Reading skill is the ability to recognize the contents of something written and understand it by reading it or digesting it by heart, but many of the students did not understand the contents of the reading text. This research is done through the students’ questionnaires when the teacher asks about the text that that they are reading. The purposes of this research are to find out the appropriate method for teacing reading skills at the “Miftahul Ulumi Syar’iyyah, Canduang”. The researcher used exsperimental research, and the same researcher worked at the “Miftahul Ulumi Syar’iyyah, Canduang meaning in chapter eigh 40 people, 220 in the exsperimental class and 20 in the control class. The result of the teaching a reading skill to students after using the directed method is the result. The mean for the post-test in the exsperimental semester is 75.5. the average result for the post-test in the control class is 65,5. The researcher found that the result of the calculation letter 2,001 and the result of the table 2,093. So the result of the calculation letter is smaller that the result of the table letter and the difference between them is 0,092. The researcher reached the conclusion that using the directed method is effective in teacing the reading skill and can improve the result of teaching reading to students in the eighth semester at the “Miftahul Ulumi Syar’iyyah, Canduang”.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine and analyze the influence of Islamic religious education on the formation of student character who is responsible for upholding the law in the campus environment. Quantitative methods are the type of method used in this research. The independent variable (X) in this research is Islamic religious education and the dependent variable (Y) in this research is the student's character in upholding the law. The population in this study were students from the Faculty of Economics and Business Education, Indonesian Education University, class 2022-2023 with a sample of 72 students. Data analysis was carried out using linear regression analysis techniques. Based on validity and reliability tests, the instruments used for data collection show that the instruments are valid and reliable. Based on the hypothesis test, it is known that the calculated t of 10.335 is greater than the t table of 1.66691 and the calculated F result of 106.805 is greater than the F table of 3.89, and the significance result of 0.000 is less than 0.05. The results of this research show that there is a positive and significant influence of Islamic religious education on the character of students who are responsible for enforcing the law in the campus environment.

Abstract

Islam is a Missionary religion, meaning a religion that always encourages its adherents to always actively carry out missionary activities. Between da'wah and Islam cannot be separated from one another, the methods of da'wah include Bil Lisan, Al-Mujjadi, Bil Hal, Fardiyah, Bit-Tadwin, Mauizhaah Hasanah, Bil Hikmah. Meanwhile, instilling moral values includes 3 points, namely Morals towards Allah, Morals towards humans Morals in religion. This research aims to determine the methods of da'wah and instilling moral values contained in Upin and Ipin animations. The method used in this research is book review, this research is included in the library research category. The data and data sources needed in this research are classified as descriptive qualitative research because the researcher was directly involved in collecting all the data needed. The results of this research obtained several da'wah methods that were applied in Upin and Ipin animations. Choosing a da'wah method that is appropriate to the activities taking place will convey the da'wah maximally according to the objectives. Instilling the values of akhlakul karimah is very influential in children's behavior, children tend to behave in ways that they are used to, therefore instilling the values of akhlakul karimah from an early age is highly recommended so that children have good morals. The Upin and Ipin animation also conveys the message that children should have good character, obey their parents and love their siblings and friends.

Abstract

The existence of the sanad in a hadith occupies a crucial position. This is because a hadith is said to be authentic if the line of transmission and the transmitter (narrator) are free from defects. The narrators here become one of the the influential ones in bringing the hadith to a high degree by looking based on intellectual andbehavioral credibility. Intellectuality is a measurable aspects, but every hadith scholar has varied criteria and methods in determining the credibility of a narrator. Imam Ahmad, as one of the leading scholars in the tradition of hadith, has a structured approach in assessing narrators who narrate traditions that are the basis of religious teachings. This article discusses and reviews in detail how Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal assesses the intellectual credibility of hadith narrators. This research uses a qualitative method with an analytical descriptive approach and data collection techniques in the form of library research. The results of this study found that the methodology used by Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal reflects wisdom, justice and balance in assessing the credibility of narrators. The method used by Imam Ahmad covers various aspects including the testimony of scholars, the compatibility of the narration with the narration of other reliable narrators, and the assessment based on the frequency of the narrator’s mistakes as well as the emphasis on written records and strong memorization also characterize Imam Ahmad’s methodology. This article provides an in-depth insight into Imam Ahmad’s approach in assessing the intellectual credibility of hadith narrators and serves as areference in the future development of evaluation in the study of hadith narration.

Abstract

Employee assessment is an important aspect of human resource management that requires a comprehensive approach to measuring their performance and contribution to the company. This article aims to explain the concept of jarh wa ta'dil in the science of hadith and how this concept can be applied in the context of employee assessment in modern management. By integrating the ethical values and justice of jarh wa ta'dil, companies can develop a more holistic and value-based approach to judgment. This research uses qualitative methods with a literature study approach by applying descriptive-analytical methods. The results of the research show that there is a correlation between the principles of jahr wa ta'dil with those of the ideal employee judgment. Principles such as justice, equity, and accuracy jhr wa'dil aligned with the ideals of the employee’s judgement such as objectivity, transparency, and accountability.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of the science of jarh wa ta'dil in determining the validity of qunut hadith for every subuh prayer in the Shafi'i school of thought. This study investigates how Shafi'i scholars apply the science of jarh wa ta'dil to assess the validity and authenticity of hadith and provide recommendations for Muslims in responding to qunut subuh hadith. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytic approach. Data is collected from relevant books, scientific journals, and online articles. Data analysis is carried out using content analysis methods. The results of the author's research find that the science of Jarh wa ta'dil plays a very important role for Shafi'i scholars in particular and generally for all scholars of madhhab in assessing the credibility of a sanad matan, such as analyzing the behavior of hadith narrators, piety, honesty, even more specifically such as from the quality of the narrator's memorization, and the author found that the hadiths that were used as arguments for qunut subuh by the Shafi'i madhhab could be used as hujjah, Based on the results of the study, it is concluded that a hadith nash can be used as the basis for a religious law when it is at the level of maqbul hadith, at least hasan ligoiri, and for qunut hadith in the Shafi'i school of thought it is classified as maqbul hadith so it can be used as evidence for its implementation.

Abstract

The permitted dispensation of a child marriage has to have a deep and serious consideration. A child marriage due to the dispensation from the court still mostly happens in Indonesia. The age of marriage written in the law has been considered irrelevant. Due to that issue, Indonesia’s Woman’s Scholars Congress (KUPI) has successfully published the instructions of three big issues; sexual abuse, early-age marriage, and natural damage. This research took the focus on how the view and the role of Indonesia’s Woman Scholar is toward the phenomenon of a child marriage. This research was a qualitative-descriptive research that captured the view of the personage of Indonesia’s Woman Scholars. The premier data were taken from the result of interviews from three personages of KUPI, they were Dr. Nur Rofi’ah, Nyai Hj. Umdatul Choirat and KH. Husein Muhammad. The result of this research showed that Woman Scholars have come with the view that a kid born from a weak mother has the potential to give birth to a weak baby too. As the result, child marriage is far from gaining the real purpose of marriage. Therefore, it can be strongly inferred that minimizing child marriage is compulsary.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the relationship (correlation) of the hadith science Riwayah wa al-Diroyah with the branch of hadith science, Al-Jarhu wa al-Ta'dil globally, as well as how these two sciences are reflected in sociolinguistic aspects. This study analyzes the hadith science of al-Riwayah wa al-Diroyah and its relationship with the branch of hadith science Al-Jarhu wa al-Ta'dil, by paying attention to linguistic and sociological aspects from a sociolinguistic perspective. This research methodology uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques and literature study. The data used is primary data sourced from discussions about Riwayah wa Diroyah and Al-Jarhu wa Ta'dil which are exemplified in the field of ulumul hadith, and secondary data uses books, research reports, journal articles and other scientific papers. In fact, the hadith sciences Riwayah wa Diroyah and Al-Jarhu wa at-ta'dil are Islamic sciences that have existed since the time the Prophet Muhammad was still alive and are the core of Islamic scientific heritage to this day, while Al-Jarhu wa Ta'dil is a branch of science. hadith relating to the validity of the hadith narrator.

Abstract

Al-Jarh wat Ta’dil is an important field in hadith studies that provides information about the conditions of hadith narrators based on critiques by critical scholars. These critiques follow a hierarchical structure, with shaduq being a level two endorsement after tsiqat. Despite being an endorsement, a narration from a shaduq narrator is not accepted outright and requires further scrutiny. This research analyzes the acceptance status of narrations from shaduq narrators according to critical scholars. It critically examines the case of the shaduq narrator named ar-Rabi bin Anas and investigates the reception status of his narrations. The methodology employed is qualitative with a descriptive-analytical approach, using references such as al-Jarh wat-Ta’dil literature, mustalah hadith, hadith collections, relevant books, and journals. The study demonstrates that among shaduq narrators, some receive negative critiques leading to partial rejection of their narrations. Furthermore, it shows that narrations from shaduq like ar-Rabi bin Anas are rejected if: First, they have negative critiques from scholars supported by indications after comparison with parallel narrations. Second, their hadiths are transmitted by problematic disciples; in ar-Rabi's case, his problematic disciple is Abu Ja’far ar-Razi, and the narration by this disciple occurs in isolation.

Abstract

Creativity is greatly influenced by the environment, therefore there is a need for active learning that can lead to interaction between students and student interaction with dynamic elements in learning. The dynamic elements referred to here emphasize more on the use of media in learning. This research aims to determine the influence of YouTube media on creativity and learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education at SMK PGRI 5 Jember. This research uses a quasi-experimental method with the type of research being quantitative. The data collection technique used was purpose sampling with questionnaires, tests and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis uses the T-test. This research succeeded in concluding that YouTube video media has a significant influence on creativity and learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education. It is proven from the calculation results that the average creativity of experimental class students was 74.47 and then increased to 89.63, while in the control class it was found that student creativity was 74.87 to 85.40. Likewise, based on the t test using the Independent Sample T Test, it shows that the sig value. 0.035 < 0.05 so the first Ha is accepted. And based on the results of the t test using the Independent Sample T Test, it shows that the sig. 0.022 < 0.05 so the second Ha is accepted. In the third Ha, the data shows that YouTube video media together influences creativity and learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education.
