Abstract

Catfish (Clarias sp.) waste, which includes bones, skin, and scales, represents a potential natural source of collagen with significa nt economic value. Collagen plays an important role in pharmaceuti cal, cosmetic, and functional food industries due to its bioactive proper ties such as antioxidant, antimicrobial, and tissue-regenerative capabil ities. This literature review aims to explore the potential utilization of catfish waste as a collagen source and its possible combination with bioactive plants, such as Moringa oleifera, Hibiscus sabdariffa, or mic roalgae, to enhance biological activity & formulation stability. The rev iew indicates that acid & enzymatic extraction methods are the most eff ective techniques for obtaining high-quality collagen from catfish was te. Recent studies reveal that catfish collagen possesses an ami no acid composition similar to mammalian collagen, with high levels of glycine & proline. Furthermore, combining catfish collagen with bio active pla nt extracts enhances antioxidant & antidiabetic properties. This study highlights that collagen development from catfish was teoffe rs an inno vative, eco-friendly biotechnological approach aligned with circular economy principles & great potential for value prod uct development.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in the design of adaptive learning curricula in 21st-century madrasahs. The method employed is a literature review analyzing various sources on AI application in Islamic education. The results reveal that AI enhances personalized learning, strengthens 21st-century skills such as critical and creative thinking, and supports Islamic character development. Implementation challenges include limited infrastructure, teacher competency, and education regulations. Optimization strategies involve teacher training, infrastructure development, supportive policies, and innovative AI-based learning media to effectively adapt madrasahs to the dynamic digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the problems and strategies for strengthening the implementation of authentic assessment in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning within the Merdeka Curriculum era. The research employs a qualitative approach through a literature review that analyzes books, scientific journals, and educational policy documents. The findings indicate that authentic assessment plays a crucial role in evaluating students’ abilities comprehensively, encompassing cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects integrated with real-life contexts and oriented toward the formation of Islamic character. However, its implementation still faces various challenges, including limited teacher understanding, difficulties in developing assessment instruments, and the dominance of conventional evaluation systems. Therefore, strengthening strategies are needed through teacher competency enhancement, institutional support, and a paradigm shift in assessment practices so that authentic assessment can be implemented effectively, sustainably, and in alignment with the holistic learning principles of Islamic Religious Education.

Abstract

This study is entitled “The Effect of Differentiated Learning Models in the Merdeka Curriculum on the Cognitive Development of 5-6 Year Old Children”. The problem addressed in this study is the low level of cognitive development in children. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the Differentiated Learning Model in the Merdeka Curriculum on the Cognitive Development of 5-6 Year Old Children. This study is a pre-experimental study with a one-group pre-test-post-test design. The sample in this study consisted of 15 children, comprising 9 boys and 6 girls. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, testing, and documenta tion. The data analysis techniques used in this study were normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test. The hypothesis results were obtained after conducting a pretest and posttest, then the researcher analyzed the research results. The data analysis results showed that there was a significant effect, as evidenced by the t-count > t-table, so Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected, which means that there was a significant effect of the use of the Differentiated Learning Model in the Curriculum on the Cognitive Development of 5-6 Year Old Children.

Abstract

Humanistic education places the human being at the center of the entire learning process, rather than focusing solely on academic achievement or rote memorization. In the context of primary education, this approach becomes an essential foundation for shaping students’ character and independence from an early age. Humanistic education based on Islamic values emphasizes the development of children’s inherent potential (fitrah), noble character, and the habituation of positive behavior through meaningful learning experiences. Children learn not merely to obtain grades, but also to understand themselves, appreciate others, and develop social and spiritual responsibility. This study employs a qualitative approach using a case study at MI Perwanida Blitar. Data collection techniques include classroom observations, interviews with teachers and students, as well as a literature review on humanistic education and Islamic-based character education. Data were analyzed thematically, focusing on how humanistic principles are implemented in teaching practices, classroom management, and character-building activities. The research highlights the role of teachers as facilitators who guide students to think critically, act independently, and develop empathy. The results indicate that the application of humanistic principles in primary education fosters a warm, inclusive learning environment that supports students’ holistic development. Teachers serve as moral exemplars and mentors who provide space for students to express their potential, make autonomous decisions, and learn through practical experiences. Humanistic learning grounded in Islamic values also strengthens students’ spiritual and moral development through activities such as daily prayers, sharing, reflective discussions, and social projects. Students who engage in this approach demonstrate higher levels of independence, critical thinking, and social skills. Thus, Islamic-based humanistic education not only cultivates academically capable students but also develops individuals with strong character, autonomy, and moral and spiritual awareness. The implementation of humanistic principles in primary education is crucial for preparing a generation capable of facing life’s challenges, possessing mature personalities, and contributing positively to society

Abstract

The development of science and technology has produced various new discoveries, including in the field of digital games. Online games are electronic and visual-based games that are increasingly popular among students as entertainment when they feel bored with learning. One of the most popular games today is Mobile Legends Bang-Bang. The use of this game may have both positive and negative impacts depending on how it is played. This research aims to determine the influence of playing Mobile Legends Bang-Bang on students’ moral behavior. The method used is quantitative research with purposive sampling as the technique for selecting samples. The data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Data were analyzed using validity tests, reliability tests, prerequisite tests, hypothesis testing, and simple linear regression. The results show that the use of Mobile Legends has an influence on students’ moral behavior, based on a t-value of 0.06 with a significance of 0.995 > 0.05, indicating that the game affects the moral character of eleventh-grade students at SMA Negeri 3 Bau-Bau
