Abstract

This study analyzes factors influencing poverty in South Sulawesi Province, focusing on the roles of the Human Development Index (HDI), investment, and the Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR). A quantitative approach is applied using time-series data on the number of poor residents, HDI, domestic investment, and LFPR over a defined observation period. The analysis employs the Error Correction Model (ECM) to capture both short- and long-term relationships among the variables. The results reveal that, in the long run, HDI has a negative and significant effect on poverty, indicating that improving human development quality sustainably reduces the poor population. In contrast, investment and LFPR show no significant long-term impact on poverty reduction. Likewise, HDI, investment, and LFPR are not significant in the short run. These findings highlight the central role of human development policies as a primary strategy for poverty alleviation in South Sulawesi while underscoring the need to optimize investment and labor force contributions.

Abstract

This systematic literature review integrates global evidence on how work–life balance (WLB) affects employee performance (EP). This synthesizes peer-reviewed articles and policy and organizational reports to surface patterns, contradictions, and gaps. Overall, WLB enhances productivity, engagement, and organizational citizenship via resource conservation, motivation, and supportive leadership–culture alignment, whereas chronic imbalance heightens stress, burnout, absenteeism, and turnover. Effects vary by context: technology enables flexibility yet risks boundary erosion; gendered caregiving loads and institutional scaffolding shape access and impact; and cultural norms around presenteeism condition uptake. High-impact practices combine flexible work, fair workloads, family-supportive supervision, childcare support, and right-to-disconnect norms.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management and condition of fixed assets in Pematangsiantar City, particularly in terms of acquisition, depreciation, and the causes of increases and decreases in the value of fixed assets during the 2023-2024 period. Fixed assets are important assets that have a useful life of more than 12 (twelve) months for use in government or utilized by the general public. The method used in this study is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach, using secondary data obtained from regional financial reports available on the official website of the Pematangsiantar City Regional Financial Management Agency. The results of the analysis show that the management of fixed assets in Pematangsiantar City still faces several obstacles, such as suboptimal recording, unscheduled maintenance, and the lack of an effective monitoring system. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the administration and supervision system of fixed assets so that regional assets can be utilized optimally and sustainably. This study is expected to provide a deeper understanding of the accounting treatment of fixed assets and become a reference for the government in improving fixed asset management to support better regional development.

Abstract

Indonesia has experienced a significant increase in cases of fictitious investments, resulting in losses of trillions of rupiah, indicating low financial literacy. This study aims to develop an e-module to prevent fictitious investments and analyze its impact on students' understanding of financial management. The study used a Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model. The subjects were 87 Economics students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through expert judgment validation and a pretest-posttest, then analyzed using a Paired T-Test. Expert judgment validation indicated the e-module was suitable for use, with an average score of 4.4 on a scale of 5. Effectiveness testing demonstrated a significant increase in financial management understanding, from a mean pretest score of 3.44 to a posttest score of 8.98 (p<0.05). The e-module's effectiveness is supported by three main factors: accessibility that allows for self-directed learning, interactivity through quizzes and case simulations, and contextuality using real-life case studies of fraudulent investments in Indonesia. The e-module to prevent fictitious investments proved effective in significantly improving students' understanding of financial management

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the role of Influencers in fraud with the Trading Application mode and analyze the criminal liability of Influencers in fraud with the Trading Application mode. Researcher goes directly to the research location to collect data by conducting interviews besides that in this research the library research method. The results of the research conducted by the author found that the influencer's role in promoting fraudulent trading applications is that the Influencer acts as an Affiliator. Influencers utilize online media as a means for the perpetrators to find targets to be interested in investing as the term is known today. With the lure of fantastic results by capitalizing quite minimal money, the victims have been promised to gain profits. The criminal liability of influencers for investment fraud in the crime of investment trading fraud only includes imprisonment and fines. While the aspect of compensation for victims of fraud is only related to the scope of civil, not criminal. Regarding the protection of victims of investment trading fraud, the implementation often experiences obstacles in the prosecution process.

Abstract

A beauty product is a kind of product that is needed to take care of and beautify skin and personal performance. Moreover, in Indonesia, the growth of the cosmetics market is also planned to rise 7% in 2021. Therefore, Sephora introduced various beauty products that are offered. In line with that, its unique open retailer environment shows more brands in the products category, including skincare, cosmetics, perfume, body treatment, hair treatment, and many more to complete the label. This research aimed to find out and analyze the effect of brand image and product quality on the lifestyle of purchasing decisions. Additionally, the research was comparative-quantitative. The result concluded that the more increased and stronger the product’s brand image in Sephora was, the more increased the lifestyle of consumers would be. Likewise, the more product quality was, the more the product purchasing decisions would be. However, higher the lifestyle of Sephora won’t increase the consumers’ purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan, komunikasi internal dan pengembangan karir terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Konawe. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai pada Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Konawe yang berjumlah 52 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Konawe. Semakin baik kepemimpinan maka semakin baik pula kinerja pegawai. (2) Komunikasi internal berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Konawe. Semakin baik komunikasi internal maka semakin baik pula kinerja pegawai. (3) Pengembangan karir berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Konawe. Semakin baik pengembangan karir maka semakin baik pula kinerja pegawai.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional, kebijakan pimpinan dan organizational citizenship behaviour terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Kantor Kecamatan Poli-Polia Kabupaten Kolaka Timur. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai pada Kantor Kecamatan Poli-Polia Kabupaten Kolaka Timur yang berjumlah 30 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kepemimpinan transformasional, kebijakan pimpinan dan organizational citizenship behaviour berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Kantor Kecamatan Poli-Polia Kabupaten Kolaka Timur. (2) Kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Kantor Kecamatan Poli-Polia Kabupaten Kolaka Timur. (3) Kebijakan pimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Kantor Kecamatan Poli-Polia Kabupaten Kolaka Timur. Organizational citizenship behaviour berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Kantor Kecamatan Poli-Polia Kabupaten Kolaka Timur.

Abstract

This study aims to identify leading horticultural commodities of fruits and vegetables that are prioritized for development and development strategies for the economy in Kebumen Regency. The data analysis method uses LQ which compares the GRDP of the Regency with the Province and uses SWOT analysis with IFAS and EFAS. Based on the results of the LQ calculation, horticultural fruit crops that become the base sector are Big Orange, Mango, Mangosteen, Passion Fruit, Melon, Banana, Rambutan, Watermelon, and Soursop. While the types of vegetables that become the basic sector are: Red Onion, Spinach, Chili Pepper, Red Bean, Long Bean, Water Spinach, Potato, Cucumber, Cabbage, Petai, Eggplant, and Carrot. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis, there is an aggressive strategy as a strategy for developing superior commodities in the horticultural sub-sector of fruits and vegetables in Kebumen Regency.

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the effect of economic growth on government expenditure on exchange rates on inflation in Indonesia. The research method uses descriptive analysis with the VECM (Vector Error Correction Model) analysis method. The unit of analysis in this research is the country, with data obtained from one country, namely Indonesia. The time horizon used in this research is a time series, with data collection carried out monthly, starting from 1990 to 2022. The results of this research produce variables of economic growth, government spending, exchange rates which have a significant effect in the long term. In the short term, economic growth, government spending and interest rates have no effect. Meanwhile, the money supply variable has no effect in the long term or short term.
