Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy, the use of financial technology (fintech), and on line shopping habits on the financial management of Generation Z in the city of Medan. The background of this research is based on the phenomenon of increasing digital financial activities among the younger generation, which is accompanied by challenges in managing finances wisely in the digital era. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to 400 respondents from Generation Z in Medan City. The analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS version 26 software. Before regression analysis was carried out, the data were tested using validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests which included normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests. The results of the study show that the three independent variables, namely financial literacy, fintech use, and on line shopping habits, have a positive and significant effect partially or simultaneously on financial management. The variable of online shopping habits has the most dominant influence on financial management with the highest regression coefficient value (0.498). The Adjusted R Square value of 0.478 indicates that 47.8% of the variation in financial management can be explained by these three variables. Thus, it can be concluded that the financial management ability of Generation Z in Medan City is significantly influenced by finance literacy, the use of digital financial technology, and on line consumption behavior that is carried out wisely

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the effect of security, e-service quality, and brand image on purchasing decisions. In the data of the largest e-commerce in Indonesia, Blibli ranks fourth with 337.4 million visits in 2023. In terms of consumer visits, Blibli is still inferior to several other competitors. This shows that Blibli has not been able to fully obtain a dominant purchasing decision compared to other competitors. In purchasing decisions, there are many factors that are taken into consideration in purchasing decisions, the first of which is convenience. The convenience factor is important because the use of communication tools is a way for consumers to believe that by using a certain system they will be error-free. The next factor is security, security is valued as the ability of online stores to control and maintain the security of data transactions. In the decision to purchase a product, the image of the product to be purchased can influence consumers' desire to buy the product. The better the product image, the more interested consumers will be in the product. This study uses quantitative research with the sample used was 97 respondents from the Faculty of Law, Prima Indonesia University. The data analysis method uses multiple linear regression. Convenience sampling was used as the sampling method. The conclusion of this study is that security, e-service quality, and brand image have a significant effect, both simultaneously and partially on purchasing decisions at Blibli for students of the Faculty of Law, Prima Indonesia University

Abstract

Marketing is a very important strategy to introduce products and attract consumers, especially in the fashion sector which continues to develop following trends and lifestyles. Irian Supermarket located in Tanjung Morawa also provides fashion products, but is facing a decline in sales because it is unable to compete with specialty stores or online shopping platforms that offer more choices, more affordable prices, and products that are more in line with trend developments. Some of the reasons for the low consumer buying interest include relatively expensive prices, less attractive promotions, and product quality that has not met expectations. To increase the attractiveness of fashion products, this supermarket needs to review its pricing strategy, improve its promotional approach, and provide products with more modern quality and design. This study covers all visitors to Irian Supermarket Tanjung Morawa as the population, although the exact number is not clearly known or tends to be biased. Therefore, the sampling technique uses the Lemeshow formula, which is appropriate when the population size is not known for certain, so that one hundred people are determined as the research sample. The sampling method used is accidental sampling, which is the random selection of respondents based on who is willing and available when the research is conducted. The results of the study indicate that partially, price has a significant negative effect on purchasing decisions. Promotion has a significant effect on purchasing decisions partially. Product quality also shows a significant effect partially on purchasing decisions. Together, the variables price, promotion, and product quality have a significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions.

This study explores the integration of Self-Determination Theory (SDT) and Agile Leadership in enhancing work motivation and performance in the Indonesian technology industry. Using a qualitative approach, this study explores employee perceptions of SDT-based training supported by agile leadership practices. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with 18 employees and six leaders from three technology companies in Jakarta, as well as an analysis of company training documents. The findings indicate that training that supports autonomy, competence, and social connectedness, combined with adaptive agile leadership, significantly improves intrinsic motivation and performance. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of SDT and Agile Leadership in the Indonesian context, providing theoretical and practical contributions to human resource management in the technology industry. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of product innovation and capital on the competitiveness of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) using mixers (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) in Tawangmangu. MSMEs play a crucial role in the national economy, but often face challenges such as limited capital and low product innovation. The research method used a quantitative approach with a census sampling technique of 45 MSMEs using mixers (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) in Tawangmangu. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS 16. The results showed that product innovation had a positive but insignificant effect on competitiveness (β=0.107; p=0.070), while capital had a positive and significant effect (β=0.886; p=0.000). Simultaneously, both variables contributed 94.1% to competitiveness. These findings indicate that capital is the dominant factor in increasing the competitiveness of MSMEs using mixers, while product innovation needs to be consistently improved. This study provides practical implications for MSMEs in strengthening their business capital and optimizing product innovation to compete in the market.
