Abstract

This research applies the event study method to the Russian attack on Ukraine, with a focus on empirical evidence regarding the existence of abnormal returns around the event, as well as differences in abnormal returns before and during the event. This research is census in nature, involving 45 stocks that are members of the Liquid 45 Index as the population. Data collection is carried out through secondary sources, including daily closing stock prices and daily IHSG. Data analysis is based on a parametric statistical approach, namely one sample t-test and paired sample t-test. Statistically, this research finds evidence of abnormal returns, although not significant, around the event of Russia's attack on Ukraine. Additionally, there is an insignificant anomaly between the abnormal returns before and during the event. The conclusion of this research is that the Indonesian capital market is said to be an informationally efficient, semi-strong market. These findings can be a reference for investors in allocating funds, aiming to obtain an optimal portfolio.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the impact of price, reference group, and risk perception on purchasing decisions for KYT brand helmets in Surabaya. Quantitative methods were used by distributing questionnaires to 100 purposively selected KYT helmet consumers. The results showed that the price of KYT helmets has a significant effect on purchasing decisions, and the propensity to purchase increases when the price is considered commensurate with the quality of the product. The role of reference groups also proved important, influencing consumer preferences in choosing KYT helmets. In addition, purchase decisions are influenced by perceived risk, where consumers who are confident in the safety and quality of the product are more likely to purchase. The practical implications of these findings help helmet manufacturers and marketers in Surabaya design more effective marketing strategies. This research can also serve as a basis for further research on helmet market dynamics and consumer behaviour in Surabaya.

Abstract

The research employs a quantitative approach using statistical methods, where the data consists of numerical values obtained through the use of questionnaires and surveys. The total population in the production department of PT SKF Indonesia is 255 employees, and the sampling is done using the Purposive Sampling technique with the Slovin formula to determine the sample. The sample used is 72 employees from the production department of PT SKF Indonesia. This study utilizes Smart PLS 3.0 software and conducts testing, including data analysis methods (descriptive and verificative), outer model testing for validity and reliability, inner model testing for R-Square (R2), Predictive relevance (Q2), and model fit testing (Goodness of Fit), as well as hypothesis testing including T-test (Partial) and F-test (Simultaneous). The results of this study, in partial, show that the workload variable has a P-Value of 0.001 or < 0.05, indicating that the workload has a positive influence on work enthusiasm. The working environment variable has a P-Value of 0.000 or < 0.05, signifying that the work environment has a positive influence on work enthusiasm. Lastly, the simultaneous results indicate that the workload and work environment variables have a positive and significant impact on work enthusiasm, with an F-value of 923.83 > F-Table 3.13 and a coefficient of determination (R2) of 96.4% in R-Square.
