Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in supporting the local economy. However, in practice, many MSMEs still face various challenges, particularly in business decision-making. This study aims to determine the decision-making process employed by the owners of the Sumber Barokah wet cake MSME in managing labor, capital, raw materials, and marketing. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that decision-making at the Sumber Barokah MSME is simple and largely based on experience and real-world conditions. Decisions are adaptive to limitations in business premises, workforce, and capital, despite the increasing number of customers. This study demonstrates that while the decisions taken are quite effective in maintaining business continuity, better planning and information utilization are still needed for MSMEs to develop sustainably.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of business ethics in building a responsible work culture at PT. Sinergi Karsa Utama (PT. SKU). A qualitative case study approach was used, involving in-depth interviews with leaders and key employees, as well as participant observation. The results indicate that business ethics serves as a "normative bridge and cultural catalyst" that successfully transforms moral values ​​into institutionalized behavior. The implementation of ethics at PT. SKU is a strategic combination of a compliance approach, manifested through a Code of Ethics and Standard Operating Procedures, and an integrity approach driven by the internalization of values.Three key findings confirm the central role of ethics: (1) Ethics as a Normative Anchor: Deeply rooted moral standards lead employees to act responsibly, even without supervision (default behavior), as confirmed by findings of high ownership and a shift from a blaming culture to a learning culture. (2) Ethical Leadership as an Example: Leadership's consistency in integrity and rejection of bribery creates a safe Ethical Climate and builds trust, which is the psychological foundation for accountability. (3) Consistent Enforcement: Fair enforcement mechanisms without double standards create a perception of Procedural Justice (Colquitt, 2001), which strengthens loyalty and a culture of responsibility.Managerial implications indicate that a focus on integrity-based ethics and consistent enforcement is crucial. Empirically, the significant reduction in customer complaint rates (40% in one year) demonstrates the effectiveness of a responsible culture built on a robust ethical framework. This research contributes to the literature by enriching the case study on the causal relationship between business ethics and organizational culture in the context of Indonesian companies

Abstract

Bank BRI, as one of the largest banks in Indonesia, is required to provide fast, accurate, and reliable services to its customers. To achieve this goal, the implementation of an Accounting Information System (AIS) plays a crucial role in supporting operational processes, particularly in transaction processing, financial information reporting, and enhancing service quality. This study aims to analyze the influence of AIS implementation on the effectiveness of customer service at Bank BRI. This research employs a descriptive quantitative method, as it describes the actual conditions related to service effectiveness and the use of AIS within the bank. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and documentation of customer service activities. The results show that the implementation of AIS at Bank BRI is adequate and has been carried out according to the essential elements of an effective information system. AIS has a positive impact on customer service effectiveness, as reflected in improved transaction speed, accuracy of information, reduced recording errors, and increased customer satisfaction. However, several limitations remain, such as variations in employee competencies and occasional technical disruptions. Overall, the implementation of AIS significantly influences and enhances the effectiveness of customer service at Bank BRI.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the impact of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) implementation on company value. GCG is a vital structure for enhancing investor confidence and creating a sustainable business environment. The methods used in this study are literature review and case analysis, with the Wilmar Group as an example of initiating GCG practices and their impact on company value. The analysis results show that proper implementation of GCG principles can enhance investor confidence, improve company reputation, and positively contribute to increasing company value. Conversely, violations of GCG principles can lead to reputational risks, financial losses, and a decline in company value.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the challenges, strategies, and impacts of optimizing Islamic financing management in Islamic banks, focusing on Sharia compliance, managerial effectiveness, product optimization, and the role of Islamic Corporate Governance (ICG). Using a qualitative library research method, this study examines theories, financial reports, and previous literature related to Islamic financing management. The results indicate that effective financing management supported by digitalization, strengthened managerial capacity, and compliance with Sharia principles improves financial performance, reduces non-performing financing, supports sustainable growth, and enhances social welfare through productive and ethical financing. The study concludes that the integration of Sharia values, strong governance, and technological innovation is essential for achieving competitive and sustainable Islamic banking performance

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the marketing strategies implemented by Islamic banks in facing competition in the financial industry. The study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a literature study approach, which is to examine secondary data sourced from scientific journals, books, and relevant previous studies. The results of the study indicate that Islamic banks can increase their competitiveness by strengthening customer loyalty, improving product quality and innovation, developing cooperation with various parties, and optimizing promotional activities through conventional and digital media. Effectively and efficiently designed marketing strategies are an important factor for Islamic banks to survive and thrive amid the dynamics of competition in the financial industry.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh corporate social responsibility terhadap corporate image dengan risiko dan corporate governance sebagai variabel mediasi pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2022-2024. Jumlah observasi sebanyak 207 pengamatan dengan menggunakan metode regresi linear berganda. Data diperoleh dari laporan keuangan dan tahunan perusahaan pada periode 2022-2024. Variabel dependen penelitian ini adalah corporate image. Variabel independen penelitian ini adalah corporate social responsibility. Variabel intervening penelitian ini adalah risiko sistematis, risiko sistematis dan corporate governance. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa corporate social responsibility berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap risiko tidak sistematis, corporate social responsibility tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap risiko sistematis, corporate social responsibility berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap corporate governance, risiko tidak sistematis berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap corporate image, risiko sistematis tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap corporate image, corporate governance berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap corporate image, corporate social responsibility berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap coorporate image. Variabel kontrol leverage berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap corporate image, serta ukuran perusahaan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap corporate image

Abstract

This study examines the role of joint ventures as a strategic entry mode for foreign direct investment (FDI) in developing countries characterized by economic, political, and institutional uncertainties. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the findings reveal that joint ventures are chosen because they reduce risk while providing foreign investors with market access, legitimacy, and valuable local knowledge through collaboration with domestic partners. The results indicate that joint ventures function not only as a means of sharing resources and adapting to local conditions but also as a mechanism that benefits host countries through technology transfer, enhanced industrial capabilities, and strengthened economic competitiveness. Thus, joint ventures emerge as a mutually beneficial strategy for both multinational investors and developing economies.

Abstract

Consumption and saving play an important role in shaping household economic behavior and overall economic stability. This study aims to analyze the concept of consumption and saving from the perspectives of conventional economics and Islamic economics, as well as to examine their relevance to current economic conditions in Indonesia. This research applies a qualitative descriptive method using a literature review approach by analyzing books, scientific journals, and official publications related to consumption, saving, and Islamic economic principles. The findings indicate that conventional economics views consumption as being primarily determined by disposable income, while saving represents the remaining portion of income after consumption. In contrast, Islamic economics emphasizes ethical consumption based on halal principles, moderation, and social responsibility, and views saving as a means to achieve economic balance and social welfare through mechanisms such as zakat and charity. The study highlights that integrating Islamic values can support more sustainable and responsible financial behavior.

Abstract

Consumer spending patterns have shifted as a result of advances in digital technology and the increasing use of the internet, particularly in online shopping activities. This phenomenon has encouraged Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to adopt e-commerce platforms as their primary marketing strategy. This study employs a qualitative analysis of Voilaya Hijab to examine Shopee’s digital marketing techniques in developing a local hijab business. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation as part of this descriptive qualitative study. The findings indicate that the utilization of Shopee features such as Shopee Ads, Shopee Live, flash sales, discount vouchers, and enhanced visual product content significantly increases sales, expands market reach, and strengthens brand awareness. In addition to serving as a practical reference for hijab-based MSMEs, this study is expected to contribute academically to the advancement of digital marketing research.
