Abstract

This study conducts a comprehensive bibliometric analysis to examine the intellectual structure, evolution, and diffusion of climate finance literature from 2000 to 2024. Drawing data from the Scopus database, the study applies co-authorship, citation, keyword co-occurrence, and country collaboration analyses using VOSviewer. The findings reveal that climate finance and climate change are central themes, anchoring an interdisciplinary knowledge network that encompasses economic, policy, justice, and innovation-related subfields. Temporal analysis shows a progression from early focus on emissions and treaties toward recent interest in green bonds, financial innovation, and climate risk. Key contributors and collaborative hubs are identified, with the United Kingdom, United States, and Germany emerging as dominant producers of climate finance scholarship. Despite growing global interest, the analysis highlights regional imbalances in research production and calls for more inclusive, equitable academic collaboration. This study provides valuable insights for future research and policy formulation by mapping the trajectory and scope of the climate finance discourse.

Abstract

The study focuses on the representation of women in Indonesian horror movie posters, particularly those depicting women as victims of violence or supernatural beings. It aims to analyze how these posters reinforce gender stereotypes and patriarchal ideologies that shape societal perceptions of women. The research employs Van Dijk's discourse analysis method, encompassing three levels: text structure, social cognition, and social context. Four Indonesian horror movie posters from 2023 were visually and narratively analyzed. The findings reveal that most posters perpetuate gender bias by depicting women as passive or vulnerable figures, thus reinforcing dominant patriarchal narratives. Notably, the poster for Suzzanna: Malam Jumat Kliwon presents a contrast, portraying the female figure as powerful and threatening. Although this depiction still operates within the supernatural framework, it suggests a shift toward a more active and empowered female presence. Overall, the study highlights the complex dynamics of gender representation in horror media and its implications for broader cultural discourses.

Abstract

This article examines the close relationship between morality and social order in the thoughts of Al-Ghazali, a great classical Islamic thinker who combines ethical, political, and spiritual dimensions within the community development framework. This research used a literature study method to critically analyze Al-Ghazali's main works, such as Ihya 'Ulum al-Din, Nasihat al-Muluk, and Al-Mustazhiri. The study results show that Al-Ghazali places morality as the foundation for creating a just, orderly, dignified society. Morality is seen as a personal responsibility and a controlling element in leadership and socio-political life. Al-Ghazali emphasized the importance of moral leaders, moral education as a social transformation, and the role of religion in maintaining public civility. He also viewed morality as a form of resistance to social damage, especially in the face of the decadence of political and religious elites. This article concludes that Al-Ghazali's thoughts are relevant to the contemporary context as a model of social reconstruction based on Islamic values, spirituality, and ethical justice. Hopefully, these findings can enrich the discourse on developing a more integrative, moderate, and sustainable Islamic society.

Abstract

This study examines the visual transformation of gender representation on the covers of Enid Blyton's "The Famous Five: Five on a Treasure Island," comparing editions from 1942 and 2017. Using Kress and van Leeuwen's Grammar of Visual Design framework, the research analyzes how visual elements construct gender meaning across different historical contexts. The findings reveal a significant shift in the representation of George (Georgina), from a distinctly masculine-coded character in the 1942 edition to a more feminized portrayal in 2017. Despite being produced in an era of greater gender discourse, the contemporary cover paradoxically presents a less subversive visual model of gender nonconformity. The 1942 illustration depicts George in an active, central position with masculine visual coding that aligns with the character's narrative identity. In contrast, the 2017 cover introduces feminine elements through clothing, posture, and composition that create tension with the character's established rejection of femininity. This transformation reflects complex interactions between changing social norms, commercial considerations, and visual conventions in children's media, demonstrating how design decisions actively participate in constructing cultural understandings of gender.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of Digital Transformation and Bleisure (business and leisure combined) on Tourist Productivity and Hospitality Sector Revenue in Indonesia, employing a quantitative research design. A sample of 180 respondents was surveyed using a Likert scale, and the data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). The results indicate that Digital Transformation and Bleisure have significant positive effects on both Tourist Productivity and Hospitality Sector Revenue. Specifically, Digital Transformation enhances tourist productivity by providing digital tools that facilitate efficient travel planning and execution, while also contributing to higher revenue generation in the hospitality sector by optimizing operations and customer engagement. Similarly, Bleisure significantly boosts hospitality revenue by attracting business travelers who extend their stay for leisure purposes, and it enhances tourist productivity through a more enriching travel experience. Abstract

This study examines the impact of entrepreneurship education, community-based guidance, and social capital on the independence of social creative businesses in Jakarta. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 150 respondents and analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results demonstrate that all three factors significantly contribute to the independence of social creative businesses. Entrepreneurship education equips entrepreneurs with essential skills and knowledge, while community-based guidance fosters collective problem-solving and resource sharing. Social capital emerges as the strongest predictor, emphasizing the importance of trust and networks in achieving entrepreneurial autonomy. These findings underscore the need for targeted policies and programs to support the growth and sustainability of social creative businesses in Jakarta.

Abstract

The aim of this article is to investigate the engagement of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in primary education activities in Bangladesh as development agents. We understand that non-governmental organizations (NGOs) have immense potential as catalysts of social change, and we analyze numerous aspects that affect their purported powers. Investing in developing NGOs and service delivery capacities is crucial for their long-term viability as intermediaries in meeting societal demands. The number of NGOs has soared in Bangladesh during the past decade largely because foreign donors have made funds available to them. Over the past decade, donors have increasingly turned their attention to NGOs to provide funds to community-based programs. The principal task of most NGOs in Bangladesh has been to undertake various poverty alleviation and empowerment of women programs in rural areas. Many NGOs have placed education and health as a top priority, as they play a crucial role in human resources development. Therefore, in this paper, it is propitious for non-governmental organizations to make solid contributions to strengthening the institutional fabric of primary education in Bangladesh.
